6210 Navigator : Error Certificate installing Spor...

Hi,
Here is my problem:
I can't install Nokia Sport Tracker on my Nokia 6210 Navigator because it gives me an error certificate.
So, trying to update my cellphone, it does not have new update...???
Nokia 6210 Navigator (RM-367)
Micrologiciel: 3.25.124.04 (22 oct 2008)
Code: 0569996
Looking the both same phone of my parents (Both RM-367), the version is higher 5.something and mine stays at 3.25 without any update... since 2008?????????
Ovi Suite and Pc Suite doesn't offer me any update...
I'm desesperate (I've past a few days looking in google without solutions (for example changing the date of the phone, or configurate the application manager (all, no control online of the certificates,...)
Nothing nothing... I'm thinking about flashing it with an updated software, ultimate action of a desperate man.
Please help, it's strange that a mobile "updated" can't install a program from Ovi Suite....
Best regards,

So my cellphone is updated (following my operador)     and I'm unable to install any aplication from the Ovi Suite... sounds so stupid. The application is the Sports Tracker and it is a new version!!!
Now that the page "can I update" is finaly working and giving me an answer, 3.25 is indeed the latest update when a free version is now at the 6.05... it is a shame!!!
I'm now obliged to flash my mobile and use piracy because of Vodafone Spain if I want new applications on this mobile.

When i updated my Nokia i got the message that the update was completed. But when i start the phone its all dead. When i hold in the power button for a few second the phone starts with a black screen (and a little light from the lcd)but after 30 seconds its shuts down again. Is there anything i can do, "hard restart?", "formatting"?
    PLEASE HELP =/

I experienced the same problem. I had my 6210 two days and simply took it back and they replaced it. The Three-Finger Manoeuvre did not work and neither the suggestion by bama_boyz20. Under Nokia's FAQ they mentioned if still under warranty they will fix it. Is there anyone that maybe know why this problem is happening.

You have to specify the additional certificates with the "-r" parameter.
    E g
    sapgenpse import_own_cert -c <cert_from_eg_verisign> -p <PSE-file> -r intermediate-one.cer -r intermediate-two.cer

I keep getting error "Certificate expired" while trying to install Skype on my phone.
The phone is Nokia E52 running Symbian S60 3.2.

    Certificate details:

The above link has been working perfectly on my 6210 navigator.
For the technically savvy,  googling ovi maps "unsupported devices" will teach you how to install maps 3.03 and 3.04.

  • Installation of Client Access role fails on Windows Server 2008 R2 (Execution of: "$error.Clear(); Install-ExchangeCertificate -services "IIS, POP, IMAP")

    Hello
I am trying to install Exchange Server 2010 beta 1 onto a Windows Server 2008 R2 (build 7000) machine which has also been set up as a domain controller.
However when attempting to install the Client Access role, setup fails with the error below.
Does anyone know of a way to get around this please?
I have already searched for this error and not found any similar threads.
Also every time I press the code button on this forum it crashes the browser and I keep losing the message! (IE8 from within Server R2). Also the message box is very small, will not expand and keeps jumping to the top.
    Thanks

    Hello
    Thanks for all the replies.
I have since wiped the system and installed everything again and it all worked this time so not sure what was wrong last time. I did try to uninstall all Exchange components and then uninstall IIS and Application server, reboot and re-install but I received the same error still when it came to installing the client access role.
Walter: I just attempted the standard installation which should have used the default self-signed certificate. Everything was a fresh install done at the same time on a freshly formatted PC.
For info last time when it failed to work:
    - Installed Windows Server 2008 R2
    - Installed Domain Controller role using dcpromo. I set the forest and domain as Windows Server 2008 R2
    - Added a forest trust between main domain and test Exchange domain (set up as ex2010.local)
    - Installed IIS and Application Server role
    - Installed Hyper-v role
    - Installed Desktop Experience feature
    - Installed Exchange and recieved the error
When it worked I set up the forest and domain in Windows Server 2008 mode (i.e. not R2), installed Exchange first and then set up the forest trust and then Hyper-v. It did say it failed to configure dns which was probably because it started trying to do automatic updates half way through the dcpromo! DNS seems to work ok though.
I did notice this time that Hyper-v gave a warning about the virtual network adapter not being set up correctly and the local network did not work correctly although I could access the internet. Not sure if this could have been related to the cause of the problem previously. For now I have disabled the virtual network until I get time to try and get it working and so the mail will work in the meantime.
I also noticed that Hyper-v added an extra 443 ssl binding to the default website so as it had 2 bindings on port 443 it refused to start. After deleting one it worked.
I decided to install Exchange onto a domain controller as it is only a test and I wouldn't do it in a live environment. I am also short of test machines! It didn't give me any warnings about this actually, I think previous versions warn you that it is not recommended.
Andreas and Chinthaka: I did not know about the requirement to run the domain at 2003 mode. The main domain is running in 2008 mode with Exchange 2007 so I assume this is just a temporary beta related requirement. It does seem to be working (second attempt) so far in a 2008 mode domain although I haven't had a chance to fully test it yet.
    Thanks
    Robin
P.S. Sorry it's taken me a while to reply!

  • «A Nightmare called 6210 Navigator» - Part II / Ex...

In the post - «A Nightmare called Nokia 6210 Navigator» - I explained my disappointment with this new navigator model, specially for people, like me, who own and intensively used the «6110» before.
In all fairness to all of you - Nokia included - I found I should explain myself better.
I have both 'Navigator Phones' - 6110 (with firmware 6.01) & 6210 (with Firmware 3.08, updated first to 3.25 and now to 4.13, if I remember correctly) - have returned the first 6210 and will return again this second unit, mainly because of its lousy sound and 'bluetooth' crackles every time I got Map/Road directions... From which you hear the last words - only - most of the time and what makes this phone useless as a ('voiced') navigation tool.
Maybe the navigation function/program is not supposed to be the main phone feature any more, because Nokia is also using one bad/cheap loudspeaker in the 6210, while the 6110 had two good ones that worked fine against the engine/road/car noise...
My second 6210 surely confirms this is the case, as by now I know that my first (6210) returned unit was clearly not a defective one in terms of 'sound/bluetooth' capabilities - I returned it to the shop during my legal 30 day return period - because for what sound is concerned, this second unit confirms it: The phone is just like that - scrappy!
There are, however, other major problems to be concerned about...
The 'voice command dedicated button' was also removed - this function is now available through the upper right button - making it impossible to use (activating 'bluetooth', for instance) if you are inside any phone application (Maps 2.0, included)!
Has anybody tried a prototype before the phone release? Has anybody used a 6110 Navigator before? I guess not!
This is even more stupid/cumbersome, as for instance, the lower left button is free for this action (keep it pushed for more than 1 second) and would be a much more clever (and logical) solution...
It seems developers either don't waist much time balancing their solutions or haven't thought about it at all! (At least, this can be fixed by remapping the button in a further firmware update, although I doubt they care - or will, eventually, do it...)
IMO, the above described hardware shortcomings, alone, are enough to rule out this phone as a (Car/Driving) navigator unit, and no software or firmware update/release is going to (or can) alter this fact.
If you need to stay with Nokia, the (two years) 'old' «6110 Navigator», is undoubtedly a much better and user friendly 'Phone Navigation' unit - with or without Nokia's Maps application!
If you want to know a little more about other 6210's "Shortcomings & Problems', please do read further...
Maybe releasing a new model every year doesn't give them much time to think... Nevertheless it's there option and frankly it's not an excuse, at least, as far as I'm concerned!
Ergonomically there are other basic errors:
    1. The phone front 'fascia' doesn't open/slide enough for you to have space to effectively use the upper keyboard row/buttons.
    2. The lower keyboard row is placed to close to the unit's end, making it quite difficult to dial with your thumb while holding the phone in the palm of your hand.
...Sorry to say, but it's a bad/defective layout design! Again, I doubt a prototype was tested by human hands!
...And now - as it seems to be usual with the last Nokia products - The Bugs:
(Please feel free to add the ones you've found - It came a time I gave up using the phone any more!)
    1. I couldn't connect the phone by 'bluetooth' with Nokia's own/dedicated «Pc Suite v.7.1.18.0»! (I'm using Win XP Prof SP3)
A bug, the lousy 'bluetooth' sound/connection, or a defective unit?
I discovered that it only happened with my first unit, which I now conclude - was defective. (I had given up after several hours lost trying to figure out what was wrong and discovering that the 'old' 6110 still worked perfectly, even with the new/last «Pc Suite» versions and settings!)
The second phone works now flawlessly with the «Pc Suite» program, I have to say!
    2. Setting an alarm to a different day rather than the actual one, switches the alarm back to the actual day, as soon as you save it!
Another bug that 'Beta Users' seem to have forgotten. It's unbelievable how basic things like this can happen... Well, maybe they never used the alarm (or the phone), after all?
Corrected in firmware 4.13; so it seems... (However it took two firmware releases to correct it! Inexcusable, from my point of view!)
    3. When navigating, if you receive or make a phone call the 'Navigation Screen' doesn't show back again after ending the call, although you continue receiving 'road voice indications'; to have your 'Map Display/Visual Road Indications' once again you need to 'hit' the 'Start
Application Button' once again - Delirious!!!
    4. With 'bluetooth' on, if you give a 'Contacts Voice Command' you don't have sound/voice 'feed back / confirmation' for the 'dialled contact' (as you had in the 6110) - you have to look at the screen to aknowledge it - Quite unsafe if you're driving...
Last... And as usual... Some 'phone freezing', so we can rehearse (and improve) our 'Remove Battery' exercise...
Welcome to the club, thank you very much, I hope you enjoy!
There are several other 'malfunction' that I will not go into depth, as they are user/personal related, and quite frankly I'm so tired of this phone, that I don't feel like going on, and on, pointing out all those shortcomings - after all this should be Nokia's Team own home work!
The ones I pointed out are enough, at least for me, to say - bye, bye, «Nokia 6210 Navigator».
I may even continue to use my old '6110' - Why not? Not perfect, but a much better (navigator) phone - But I'm surely will looking quite closely into another brand for my next (navigator) phone!
Best wishes to all of you (Nokia, included),
    telele
P.S. - As usual, you are entitled to contradict my findings... Update the bugs list... Or even praise the «6210 Navigator» phone.
All your comments are surely welcome!
I, on the other hand, will be returning this second unit.
Sorry, but I had enough - Period.

I have also 'upgraded' from a 6110 Navigator to a 6210 Navigator and found the newer model to be considerably harder to use.
In particular, your point #4 about not having a warning beep when issuing a voice command while in bluetooth/car mode is my number 1 gripe as it makes my cars bluetooth and phones voice dialling completely useless.
If you have found a solution to that particular issue please let me know.

    Hi,
ErrorRecord: Microsoft.Exchange.Management.Clients.FormsAuthenticationMarkPathUnknownSetError: An unexpected error occurred while modifying the forms authentication settings for path /LM/W3SVC/1.  The error returned was 5506.
This error is related to installing default SSL certificate on IIS.
Have a look into this to resolve it:
    http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Server_Software/Email_Servers/Exchange/Q_23852190.html
If it still not resolves your issue, then i would recommend to reinstall the IIS and then install the Exchange.

  • A site is telling me that i have no digital certificate installed....

Hi. Trying to access a page on the Spanish version of the IRS, to file a tax document here. I can't get access to the page (or any of their secure pages), and I get this message, which has been Google translated:
''The error "403 byrule" is a mistaken identity. Occurs when you try to access an option that requires electronic certificate and the browser does not detect that one is installed or not properly selected. If the choice of the certificate you get a page that says "page can not be displayed" or similar error is possible that the certificate is damaged, changes or problems in the operating system or other causes. If possible, you should try to reinstall a valid copy of your certificate.
This error in Firefox indicates that there is no digital certificate installed. Go to "Tools" "Options" ("Firefox", "Preferences" Mac "Edit" "Preferences" in Linux), "Advanced" and select the "Encryption". Click on the "View Certificates" and verify that your certificate is installed correctly. If no certificate on the tab "Your Certificates" will have to import a valid copy of the browser. If necessary, also refer to the instructions on importing certificates from our "Help" and the links that we propose below. Once the certificate is installed also make sure that Mozilla Firefox is configured correctly. This may refer to the "Installation, configuration and management of electronic certificates for Mozilla Firefox.''
Under "view certificates" in preferences/encryption, "Your Certificates" is blank. And I don't see anything in "Authorities" that seems to relate to this website. In 'Servers" there were some exceptions I created (reluctantly) when the site asked for it. I deleted them, still not working."
I've tried with both "Select one automatically" and "Ask me every time"
Click on the page below, click on any of the links with a lock to see the resulting error.
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks. You are very much on the right track, and I can't thank you enough. The page you sent me to is has the right link. But I can't just download the certificate, as you proposed. It's actually part of a significant security system. I went to the webpage that accompanied the link. I have to fill out a form, from that get a code... then go to a local gov't office, show my ID, get another code, then come back, input that, and get my personalized certificate. I'll let you know how it goes. But without you I have no idea how I'd even have gotten onto the right path. Thanks again.

  • Cross-domain Navigation Error

    Hi folks,
I was just beginning to test out a site on my domain when I received the following error:
    Cross-domain Navigation Error
Adobe InContext Editing does not support cross-domain navigation.
For more details, please visit the Adobe InContext Editing Help and Support page.
While I could not find any help easily, I thought I would post here with what I have discovered.  I am not entirely sure what "cross-domain navigation" is in the first place, but I had a few hunches.
Initially, I was using a site set up with templates and library items.  Then, for the purposes of troubleshooting, I deleted all files and placed one HTML file in the folder with nothing but some text in it.  I still received the error message.
On a whim, I decided to try InContext Editing in Internet Explorer instead of Firefox, and it worked.  I then downloaded and installed the latest version of Firefox (3.5.1), and the error message still appeared.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance!

Having the same troubles. Worse it goes into an endless loop where you can't get out of the error message cycle.

  • 6210 navigator - computer v phone

I have PC suite on my computer and downloaded the maps facility from Nokia website - the phone's connection doesnt seem to be establishing correctly - keep getting an error message "connection incompatible". Have tried turning off firewall, no good. anyone else having similar problems? Just bought this phone mainly for the SatNav but if this is what I can expect then when the voice direction expires in 6 months, and I still cant download from the website then I may as well cut my losses now.

After many many hours spent following the advice of Optus and Nokia technicians, saving everything to avoid data loss, doing a factory reset, copying everything back on to the phone ....... only to find that nothing has changed, I finally finally stumbled upon the answer!
The 6210 Navigator has an MMS limit of 300kb, so I changed my N8 to send 'small' rather than 'large' MMS messages ..... and the problem is solved.
I wished the technicians had suggested that several days ago!
