6230i and AD-5B... possible?
Hi there, noob here so apologise if I've made any mistakes etc.
I've got a small problem that I'm hoping you guys could help me with. A few months ago, brought my Dad a Jabra bluetooth headset for his old company Nokia (can't remember the model number, sorry) that worked perfectly. However, the company replaced his phone as it was getting to a point of not working, and so he now has a 6230i. Does him fine, only problem being that it doesn't have bluetooth!
So as he cannot use the headset now, he has asked for a wired headset type thing for Christmas. However, I did spot the AD-5B adaptor which looked perfect- it seems a shame to have a redundant £50 headset after only a few months use. In the compatability list, the 6230i is not listed, so I was wondering whether it may work? It's got the Pop Port, but hey. I've searched, but couldn't find a thing...
Anyone know?
Or if it won't, anyone fancy suggesting a decent wired headset? Have to say, there isn't a great range now with the advent of bluetooth.

I've recently been given a macbook pro from uni, with lots of adobe software on. I want to pair it with my iMac which has music etc and is it possible to get the software to the imac and the files to the macbook?Giving me the best of both :-)
You would need the original installation disks or files for the Adobe software to get it onto your iMac, and having it on two computers may not be allowed by your university's licensing. Talk to whoever issued the MacBook.
As to the music, just copy it over to the MacBook, either via Home Sharing, file sharing, or an external storage medium (hard drive, USB flash drive, etc.).

You don't have to do anything with the first iPod that you don't use anymore. If you are planning on keeping it, put in a drawer in your house and forget about it.
You don't need a second account to use with the new iPod. I use one Appl e ID and iTunes library for two iPods, and two iPad. I have different content on all four devices. You can select exactly what you want to sync to each device and it can be different content on all devices. -
i have american account but i just now have 0.61$ and i have another gift card from uk.i want to use it but itunes said i have to change my country and its not possible before i spend all my money.my question is how i can spend a 0.61$ ?

Invoice is been created successfully in SUS , XML transfered to XI which in turn created the IDOC in ECC.
I get the below error while transferring theinvoice IDOC from XI to ECC.

Diagnosis
In Financial Accounting customizing, the tax ID transferred in the invoice is missing so that the system cannot determine a tax code. The system could not determine an entry with the value V0 nor with the value VAT .
Procedure
In Financial Accounting customizing, include the external tax ID and a corresponding internal tax code for the present partner.
Please let me know if I am missing any setup in ECC as I have already maintained the setup in OBCA, OBCD and OMRY.

I need help iTunes 10.6.3 Mac running 10.7.3 not responding I have deleted iTunes and reinstall iTunes and it keeps happening I also scanned the computer for any trojans and any other possible viruses but the pc is running perfect waft do I do ? Please help me ?

Here's what I did:
First I tried the Winsock reset in the Command prompt. Nothing changed.
Next, I tried the instructions on http://http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4123. The only other program that came up on the 'Winsock Providers' tab on the program was 2 Windows Live applications, which I can do without. So I deleted all Windows Live Applications.
I did the Winsock reset in the Command Prompt again and rebooted my comp.
Unfortunately, nothing has changed. iTunes keeps freezing at various stages of the sync, then shows the candy cane-striped bar with either the words 'Finishing sync' or 'Cancelling sync', before showing the Apple logo.
Sometimes, iTunes gets to the syncing stage - "Copying # of ####" - where it will trudge through the first, second and third tracks before flashing "Copying 4 of ####" for a split second and I catch "Cancelling sync" briefly before the Apple logo appears.
Again, I've repeated the steps I mentioned in my previous post. Does ANYONE know when the new version of iTunes is set to be released?! This one is driving me INSANE, to say the least!! -

Check, if you have the "Primary Only" option enabled. Then keywords will only be applied to the "Primary Image":

System error and restart not possible
Hi
I have developed the Proxy to SOAP scenario and it used to work normally as designed, But suddenly it started giving the System error and restart not possible,
I see the following error in the Runtime work bench on the Receiver CC
SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 500 Internal Server Error
Can anyone let me know what the error is

If this channel was in working state earlier, then this error would mean that the receiver webserver hosting the webservice has some problem. You may contact the receiver system for checking out if they have problem at their end and if they agree resend the messages and it should pass through.
It may be problem with certificates even.

How do transfer files as easy and fast as possible?
Hi, I will have to get all my files on my Mac Mini here on to the new iMac I'll be having in a few hours. How can I do this as fast and easy as possible?
Do I use a USB cable between the Mac Mini and the iMac or what kind of connection should I use? And how do I keep my system preferences and stuff without having to overwrite Leopard-specific files and folders? My Mini is on Tiger.
Can I use a FireWire, I heard they are much faster than USB but I don't know if they can be used for Computer-Computer setups?Hi.

I used a FireWire 400 with 6-pin on both sides. The Apple Genius said Mac Mini doesn't have FW 800 port (new Intel Mac Mini). And it was dumb of me to ask if the files and folders are treated the same way as the applications. I didn't think of the fact that the applications are in like a shared folder and the personal stuff is part of the accounts...
I just have a question, how are some of my preferences transferred if system files aren't replaced? And my main concern with the transfer wasn't that not all files could be transferred, but rather that some Leopard files could accidentally be overwritten and there goes my Leopard.

I miss this functionality because it was nice to see may photoes directly on the iMac-Screen as well to hear the Music on my Radio. No chance to implement this function again by a newer upgrade?

I am using already AppleTV, but only for streaming into a different room on to my TV - it is great!
But I like to hear all my iTunes Music by LineOut Cable from iMac to my Stereo Device.
I can activate music titles in iTunes by Apple Remote, but only for jumping from Title to Title and not back to Albums or Playlists etc. -

I want to upgrade the software (currently I have Mac OS X 10.6.4) but when the mac is downloading the new version i get an error message and is not possible get the most updated software: Mac OS X 10.6.8 or either the most recent itunes why?!?!?!
Then you either have a network problem or a hardware problem or a corrupted hard drive. You might try:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
You can also try downloading from another computer on a different network connection. -

The phone works well in the car, but I have a couple of questions:
How do I program speed dials for use in the car ? If I press and hold '2' in the car, I get a error similar to 'no entry'..
If I have a contact on the phone who has multiple numbers assigned to them, the car only seems to show there name if they ring from their main number.. Anyway around this ?
Also is there any way to dial on of the entries other numbers, not just the main number ? Thanksanyone have any ideas on this ??

I couldn't open Firefox using the terminal, so I went to the folder and opened it from there. The Firefox icon no longer appears, and I can't figure out how to change the shortcut in my menu lol But it's definitely the Japanese version, and all of my bookmarks, plugins and preferences were saved, so everything else will come eventually ^.^
