6230i connectivity to Motorola Bluetooth device

I am trying to get my new 6230i to connect to my Motorola Bluetooth device. The phone sees the Bluetooth in my Audi A6 and works fine. And, my prior phone, a 6230, sees both the Audi and the Motorola earpiece just fine. But the 6230i doesn't find/pair with the Motorola unit...any suggestions would be much appreciated...

  • Ttrying to connect a Motorola bluetooth ear piece to my iPhone 5S

I am trying to connect a Motorola bluetooth ear piece to my iPhone 5S. It was connected once before and I told the phone to forget it. Now I cannot get it to recognize the earpiece again. Any suggestions? The earpiece has only 3 buttons. on/off, hang up, initiate a call. I've powered it on and off as well as powering off the phone.  I've even installed iOS 7.1.1 to see if it made a difference and it didn't. Suggestions?

You need to put the earpiece into discovery/pairing mode. Since you tapped on forget the device, the phone needs to see it again, and that will not happen unless the phone is in discovery/pairing mode. If you are unsure how to do this, then check the documentation for the earpiece. Generally it involves holding a button down for a short period of time causing the light to blink, then checking the phone with Bluetooth turned on.

  • TS3048 My early 2009 Mac Pro does not connect via bluetooth to my sound bar or bluetooth mini speakers. Both my wireless keyboard and mouse have no problems connecting. What do I need to do to connect to external bluetooth devices?

My early 2009 Mac Pro does not connect via bluetooth to my sound bar or bluetooth mini speakers. Both my wireless keyboard and mouse have no problems connecting. What do I need to do to connect to external bluetooth devices?

I would always have a wired keyboard and mouse on hand (need not be expensive ... any cheap wired devices will work).  "Emergency recovery" procedures can activate features in random order, so the opportunity to select a recovery partition may pass before the wireless devices are recognized.
That will let you select the "turn on Bluetooth" icon.

  • Connecting to Motorola Bluetooth H300

I have paired my Blackberry 8100 to a Motorola H300 bluetooth device.  The pairing was ssuccessful but when I try to connect a message stays on the screen 'waiting for Motorola H300'.  I cannot connect to the H300.  I can connect the H300 to another phone so I know it works.

You need to set your H500 into "discovery mode" also:
From the Off status, hold its button down for about 10 seconds until you see a sold blue light, then go to the iphone's Bluetooth settings do the pairing.
My iphone automatically paired without having to enter the H500's default PIN "0000".

  • How can I connect to other bluetooth devices

    Hi Folks,
Having only just become a new iphone 4s user I've now found out that my iphone will not connect to any other manufactured phones and other Bluetooth devices, is there any way around this or is it an iphone only club!!!. Many thanks in anticipation of a reply, Astonharry.

You need to go to the App stores and find compatible apps. iOS device do not natively have to ability to transfer info to a computer via BT to a computer.
With iOS 8 you can use AirDrop

if you don't have it , download and install hp wireless assistant and when your driver installation tells you to turn on bluetooth, open hp wireless assistant and turn it on.

  • Connecting bluesence AD (bluetooth device)

    hi there,
I have a big problem. I have a bluesence AD, which is a bluetooth device that sends data from a sensor. i tried it with the software that comes along with the hardware and it works fine.
BUT: I want to read the data using a labview program, and it just won't work!
i tried the example bluetooth programs and i always get an error, saying that the 'network is already in use'.......
I think i understand how it's suposed to work, but do i have to connect the bluetooth device using a 'normal' connection program, or do i have to connct using a labview application?!?!?!?
could someone please help me with that?
    thx a lot!
    fab

    hi,

  • How to connect miss configured bluetooth device.

    Hi Support Community,
I've recently purchased a Play Station 3 bluetooth controller (DUALSHOCK3 "CECHZC2H") from a Japanese web store for a very cheap price.
I don't have a PS3, but I read few articles to make me believe it would work on my Mac Mini out of the box.
However, the cheap DUALSHOCK3 would not connect the way tutorial tells me it would.
Instead, it prompts me to type few keyboard keys to authorize the device. ( Which of couse can't be done on DUALSHOCK3 controller )
I came to the conclution that the controller may be a knock off.
But, hey! It still is a bluetooth controller! All it needs is a way to reconfigue it self to be recognised as a "HID game controller" instead of a keyboard and knock off controllers were made to work in PS3s.
All it should need is a bit of reconfiguration...
And so, I was wondering if there is a way to make a Mac to think the bluetooth device is a HID game controller.
    Any suggestions would be helpful!
    Thanks!
    My Macs:
-Macbook (Late 2009 Aluminum) OSX Lion
-Mac Mini (Mid 2011) OSX Lion
    What I tried so far:
    -Turn on and off Bluetooth
-Delete and reconnect the device from "System Preferences -> Bluetooth"
-Connect a USB bluetooth receiver a had from 2008
-Edit "com.apple.Bluetooth.plist" (settings get overwitten when the device gets connected)

    hi,
i am not sure if i can help, but i think that if you use a programe such as gamepad companion to map the keys of your controller to adjust to your needs for your games. Because i never tried it, and that i can't, i suggest you should find a way to try if gamepad companion can solve your problem before actualy buying it...
i think that gamepad companion only works with hid devices... we should consider that, if your controller isn't compatible with gamepad companion, i suggest you use an other program to map the keys to the device
    hope it helps

  • Why won't my new iPhone 6 connect to some bluetooth devices automatically?

I purchased my iPhone 6 (64GB) last month and have been having trouble with it connecting to bluetooth devices ever since. I have to most up-to-date software (8.1.2). I listen to a lot of music and have multiple bluetooth accessories that I use to connect with my phone for playback. Because of this I always leave the iPhone's bluetooth turned on. The main problem I've been experiencing is automatically connecting to devices that have already been paired and saved to the phone's "My Devices" list. I drive a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek and while I had my iPhone 5 (with iOS8) I could hop in the car, turn it on, and since the bluetooth in the phone and car were both already turned on (and had previously been paired) they would automatically connect and I'd be listening to music immediately. Now, with my iPhone 6, that does not happen. I get in my car, turn it on, and with bluetooth turned on in the phone and the car I get no automatic connection. If I go into my phone's settings and manually select my car's bluetooth sometimes it will make a connection. Other times it won't and I actually have to forget the car on my phone and re-pair the two devices. (Once the phone is finally paired the bluetooth connection works perfectly.) This is extremely time consuming and annoying, and most definitely not the way these products are meant to function. I've tried lots of different ways to get around this. I've reset the phone's network settings, and have done a full system restore. At this point I'm not sure what else I could do other than going in and talking to someone at a Genius Bar. Has anyone else had this issue?
