Hi, anyone can help me switching my bluetooth on on my about 3/4 year old 6230i. my dog has eaten the phone and now the display doesn't work anymore. but when i can activate my bluetooth i can save my data

Not sure this will work but if you go into the Keyboard preferences, then click the Keyboad Shortcuts tab, and then the '+', you can add your own shortcuts for any application. I am not sure what happens if you try to override an existing shortcut since I haven't tried using this.
Edit/Update:
Probably against my better judgement I'll also throw this out there - there's an Unsanity haxie called Menumaster which might also allow you to do what you want. Against my better judgement because personally I stay clear of haxies. It's (all haxies) probably almost certain to break in Lion. They always do with each major release.

I have deactivated my iMac and need to switch to MacBook Pro, but MacBook says I still need to deactivate a computer.

Going out of town and need to switch to my MacBook. On my iMac I went to Settings cog / Preferences / Account / Sign out. OS 10.5.8 is Leopard. Lion is 10.7

I have a 15 inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. Retina display broke and it had to be replaced.
When I turn on my Mac now, I log in as myself and I am able to see all the icons I had before.
When I log in as a guest, any icons that were there before are gone. The display is blank.

Need to restore iphone5 but screen broke and find my iphone app active but no device registered

My iphone5 screen recently stopped working (1 year and 3 wks after warranty expired!) and kinda froze so the screen sensor is disabled and is not swiping. Cant answers calls or access anything othe rthan commands via Siri and bluetooth incar/ headphones to play music and make calls.... My network provider advised me to back up and completely restore. When trying to restore via itunes it asks me to deactivate find my iphone app in settings. Trouble is i cannot access this due to broken screen/sensor... my phone has its passlock on also so siri will not open settings unless i touchscreen in my pin.
using my sons phone i tried to locate my phone using the app find my iphone but it said i was 'offline' i accidently ended up removing the device from my account (happy clicking) and now icloud.com states no device registered. Grrrrrrrr and now i can only register device by changing settings on the phone itself.
I cannot access my phone to change setting so cannot restore. how can i restore factory settings? or even completely deactivate/remove find my phone app.. I tried to delete it from itunes but it still shows im still active but with no device registerd. i am not sure if its something to do with icloud settings? im not that clued up with iphones despite being an apple customer for 5 years!

Thanks diesel vdub for your suggestion.... :-) I managed dfu mode which allowed me to reset to factory settings though the screen was still broke. Think I need replacement screen/sensor. No doubt cost me a small foutune to fix!

Why does my screen blank and need to be refreshed when I switch between multiple open tabs and is there a fix to this?

If I have one tab open at a site, and then open a new tab to a different website, when I click back on my other tab the screen is a blank gray color and I have to refresh it to get the site back. This happens almost every time I switch between my open tabs, no matter which tab I am going back to. I am not having this problem in any other browsers. This has only started happening in the last couple of months and it has gotten really annoying. Does anyone know how I can stop this?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.<br />
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.<br />
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Today i broke my Iphone 5's screen. I have also a dust problem in my camera and i was waiting to an offical apple store to open in Turkey because i don't trust our gsm carrier services to fix. My question is; if i change my screen myself is my iphone out of warranty? And if i give my iphone to apple store they could change my iphone for dust problem are they make a problem for my screen? Where did you purchase your iPhone? If you purchased it from one of the carriers in Turkey, then only they can service it. You don't have a choice; you will have to take the iPhone to your carrier. Since they don't repair iPhones but rather replace them, as gdmacguy said, there should be no reason to distrust them.
If you purchased the iPhone in another country, then you will indeed have to take the iPhone there or send it to someone you know there to get it replaced for you. The only exception is if you purchased the iPhone in an EU country in which case you can get it replaced by Apple in any other EU country.

I live in Holland and I have downloaded all my apps here! I have als some UK apps. My ipad seems to think I am linked to the UK store, and will not update or download anything. It keeps on telling me to switch to the dutch store.
How do I go about doing this?

Using 2 green screen clips and need to resize as one

I am using 2 green screen clips - one is a prop and the other shows kids. I have successfully loaded both into the Premiere timeline.
