6233 & 6300 "Contacts Font size"

WHY OH WHY do Nokia think I can not make my own choices......
I have a 6233 which is on v5.10 and I would like to upgrade to a 6300 however....
I am fussy and a VERY important feature of the 6233 is the ability to see 8 contacts in my contact view on the screen at once. The 6300 has a much larger contact font size (even though on both phones the font size is set to "medium" in the settings) and with this font size, you only see 5 contacts and therefore 5 numbers/details on screen. On the 6300, Nokia in their wisdom, have grayed out the option to change the font to small and I have no idea why.... it should be my choice, so why do they gray out the option that would make the font the same size as the current 6233....
Please can I be enlightened as to why the font size can not be lowered or can someome suggest a solution.

Sorry, can't help with your problem, but need your help. Could you please tell me if the Font size can be increased for reading messages in the 6300?
Have a vision problem and desperately looking for a phone with a large font size.

I had iCloud on my Microsoft Office 2010 and tried to increase the font size - I read to unistall and reinstall, so I did. This took iCloud away from Calendars and Contacts. I re-installed iCloud and it will not sync with my Calendars

I had iCloud installed, and it was working, then I wanted to increase font size in the notes section of Calendar. I read to uninstall iCloud and reinstall iCloud and it would be fixed.
Once I reinstalled iCloud it did not show up in Microsoft Office 2010 - Calendar or Contacts.........which it had previous to the uninstall.
When I sync it errors. I am at my wits end trying to sync this, and it just keeps erroring. I am not syncing phots/photo stream, just contacts and calendar.
Please can anyone tell me what setting I have to change??

Needed to add some clarification here:
iCloud shows me as signed in, but Calendars are NOT checked
Internet Accounts shows Calendars as syncing

There's one problem: I don't know how to change the font size. Help?!

This answer definitely isn't as neat as the Large Type option in OS X Address Book but if you connect to iTunes then choose Configure Universal Access on the Summary tab, then on then iPod touch go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom > On. You can then double tap with three fingers on the screen to zoom in. Use three fingers touching the screen to pan around and double-tap with three fingers touching to zoom out again.
The other way would be to tap Edit in the top right in Contacts and the number appears a little bigger.

How can I change the font size in the contacts win...

I can change the font size in the Message window, but the text that I type is too small for me to read, and I'm making a lot of typing mistakes.
For the most part, I need every font in Skype to be made larger. I'm visually impaired, and using skype is straining my eyes trying to read my skype messages.

I can't find a way to adust the font size when I am in itunes on my pc. I know how to adjust the display setting, but that seems to be an overkill. I don't need to use the largest font size all the time. Surely there must be a simple way to just adust only what I need to in itunes.

You are not addressing Apple here. We are all just users like yourself.
First, log into your account on a computer and go to your purchase history and look for charges.

Mavericks After Upgrading to 10.9.2 the font size in the address/seach bar has changed to be small.

After upgrading to Mavericks 10.9.2 the text in the address/seach bar on Safari is a lot smaller. This is not a screen resolution issue. The fonts in Finder are larger than they were before anoying fix for this would also be nice. It is also not a screen resolution issue.
I really do not know what Apple are doing with quality control with Mavericks. The 3 month GMAIL problems have not been fixed with this upgrade and you also have a lot of font size changes accross you whole machine, within mail, finder and safari.
Any help appreciated.

Mavericks reminds me of all the old problems I had with Windows before I moved to Mac. Prior to Mavericks upgrades would not change screen resolutions, Font sizes etc. The GMAIL issue has not been fixed.
It is inconceivable to me that you could release this product which does not support basic mail functionality for one of the largest email services on the internet ie. GMAIL and then take 3-4 months and still not fixed with the 10.9.2 upgrade. What are you guys doing. The loss of productivity for people is beyond comprehension.
Can we please get a fix for GMAIL in Mavericks that actually works.
