6280 can,t copy music to memory

please help me!! i've been trying to down load music on to my 6280 but it keeps telling me my memory is full even though i only have 2 songs on it. it is downloading straight to the phones memory.i want it to download to the memory card where there is plenty of space. if this makes any sense to anyone your help would be great cheers.

Assuming you're using PC Suite's Music Manager (via the Transfer Music option), connect your phone and go to:
Options .. Settings ..
Go to the right hand tag (should be labelled something like Nokia 6280 - note this will only show up when your phone is connected).
In the top section, labelled something like "Path to music files on Nokia 6280", click on the "Browse..." button and select an appropriate location on the memory card (usually the E:\ drive), for example:
E:\Sounds\Digital
Next time you transfer, the files will be transferred to your memory card. Note that once they're transferred you will have to refresh the Music library.

No, you can't copy music via a cable between the two devices - there is a camera connection kit that allows you to connect an iPhone to an iPad and copy photos and videos from an iPhone's Photos app to the iPad's Photos app, but that is all it can copy.

IPads and iPod Touches don't seem to have the same media copying restriction that my iPhone has. My main computer is at home. I have music at home and at work and sometimes I like to add it to my iPhone from work. I can do this no problem using my iPad or my iPod touch, but when it comes to my iPhone, I can only copy music to it from my main computer.
Why would the iPhone have this restriction but not the other two devices?
ps. Where's my "add currently playing song to playlist" button? I can't even find a third-party music app with this feature.

E51 can not copy music to device with Ovi Suite

I have music files on my computer and I'm trying to copy them to my phone using Ovi Suite.
According to Ovi Suite's instructions, to do this manually I have to choose the music file and select Tools - Copy to device. But this option can not be chosen after selecting a music file (it stays gray) Why is that?
The E51 should have enough memory left for the music, but it does not have a memory card. Is that the problem?

Yes you are right, you cant copy music files to the phone memory through the OVi suite. It need a memory card for that purpose.
In case if you want an alternative you can go through your explorer, open your device memory and paste your music files.
Once you finish transfering your music files, disconnect your device, open your music player and update your Music library. Now you should be able to see your music files.
Note: Through this method you can only transfer your music files, but cant convert the same in case if it is not supported by the phone

You can't copy directly from one iPod to another, the songs have to be transferred to iTunes first and your second iPod is updated from there. I have my own iPhone 5 that i have synced and set up with my itunes on my macbook pro. My wife recently got an iphone 5 (thru her work) that i want to copy music from my itunes library to her phone. We share the same itunes acct and she is able to make purchases with it and download songs that i have purchased via itunes to her phone. I would like to manage and copy over addiontal music (most of which i had bought on my own and imported into itunes) and copy playlists etc to her phone.
She has not synced her phone to my (or any) computer. When i hook up her iphone to my macbook and open itunes, it prompts me to "set up new iphone" either as a brand new phone or from a backup. can i get around this, so i can manage the music on her iphone without deleting and "setting up from scratch her phone"? I have read that i can manually manage everything on her phone separately from my phone... so her apps aren't on my phone and vice versa? I really just want to put my music on there.
I have heard of some other apps (ie songbird) but prefer to keep everything working under itunes.

Not brand new... New to that Mac's iTunes. For registration if you will...
Setup the iPhone as a new device to get past the initial part. iTunes will know that the device is already set up and you can go from there.

Can't copy music to 5S properly - 95% remaining greyed out

I've just got an iPhone 5s and I don't seem to be able to copy music across to it - well I can, but only an arbitrary selection, and strangely appears to be the same songs it allows rather than entirely random.
I can physically drag and drop the songs from iTunes on to my phone, and the entire correct selection appears under the iPhone tab in iTunes, but the vast majority (maybe some 95%) stay greyed out, like they're still waiting to be synced/copy.
I've made sure I have the latest versions of iTunes and iOS (11.1.5 and 7.1 respectively), have ticked manually manage music and have turned the phone off/on again, as well as rebooting my computer, but with no effect.
I'm really at a loss as to why it's doing this, as I never had this problem with my previous phone (the 4s) - the closest similar error was when it would occasionally fail to copy the songs like this, but reconnecting the phone to iTunes normally resumed the copying process. This trick seems to have no effect here.
As far as I can tell, my phone is working entirely normally in every other regard. A quick scan of the community showed issues with music copying but not quite like this so was wondering if anyone else had experienced this issue and if they managed to fix it?
Any suggestions would be gratefully received as listening to music on my phone is one of the main things I use it for.

ITunes stopped copying songs to my IPad 1. I'm upgraded to the most recent IOs 5 version, but when I try to copy my music from ITunes (on a Windows laptop) to my IPad it wont work. I get an error message that says "ITunes is unable to copy music to ___'s IPad because ITunes is unable to copy music to the IPad. This is a first, I've always been able to transfer my ITunes library to my IPad. I'm not just talking about music Ive copied to ITunes from CD's, it won't copy any of the songs I've purchased through ITunes.
I do have some music on my IPad from ITunes but it wont allow me to add additional music.

You can try deleting all of the music and then sync it back to the iPad.
Uncheck the Sync Music heading in iTunes and then sync the iPad to remove the music. Quit iTunes, and then connect the iPad again, launch iTunes and select the Sync Music heading again to sync the Music back to the iPad.

Can't copy music from Ovi suite to my C6

Hello ,
I got a problem with my C6 I downloaded Ovi suite and im trying to get some music on it . When I open the software the music shows up . Then when i want to movie it to my phone , it wont let me it says ''cannot copy music'' and even when i made a playlist it still says the same thing. I can't even synchronize my music because it says the same thing and then it says to re connect but when i do that the same thing happens .I can synchronize everything else but not music .
Is there any one that could help me ?
BTW. I can't connect to anything else because in my computer the folder wont show up. So Pc Suite is the only way I can connect my Nokia to my PC.
I use Vista Service Pack 2

Simplest way is to connect in madd storage mode instead of pc suite mode via usb and drag and drop, the phone will show as an external hd in 'My Computer' simply open the drive and drag photos from computer to N8, drag and drop is by far the easiest and quickest way to transfer all media to a Symbian phone !
