6280 cannot recharge my phone

phone has been working fine, except for the dust under the screen, as many of you members have discussed recently. I have just plugged it in to charge and I get no life out of it at all. Could it be a failed battery or maybe the charger is not working. Please help. P.S. Do I need to take it to a main Nokia Dealer?

This is what I have encountered when the phone is 2wks old. Batt flat. Now 2nd batt still has this problem. Charge at night, make 2-3calls next days, batt flat. Bring to service centre. 1st nokia phone which me this problem. Next phone will not be Nokia. Quality is getting worse.

I am now trying to back up my data to iTunes but I cannot get the phone to turn on. I have it plugged into my computer monitor but it just slowly flashes the Apple symbol. Any ideas on how I can get it to power up for the backup?

Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

I really don't want my personal information such as pictures, text messages, notes and social networks profile available to a stranger!!? Help please!!!

You are able to activate an old device and process an insurance claim for your iPhone 4s within 60days from the incident date. Keep in mind if the old phone is not a smartphone and you currently have unlimited data that feature will fall off. If you have a tier data plan no changes will be made. In iTunes, try signing out of your Apple ID & then back in: click on iTunes Store on the left sidebar of iTunes, click on your Apple ID on the top right, sign out, sign back in. Then try to sync your purchased music to your phone again.

The accessibility options permit only three choices. First, increase type size. With the the low greyscale, thin typeface, increasing type size makes it HARDER to read. There is no option for contrast enhancement. Third, the background switch options suffers from the same deficit as the white background. The third choice is to enhance brightness but without the option to change contrast, this is useless. Am I missing something? Can this be fixed? How? When? Are you planning a similar negative "update"/change to other devices?

I am having the same problem. I have gone through every setting, set the bold font, contrast, larger font....everything I could find in any post to try and help - and between the new color scheme that makes it virtually impossible to use the pictures of my grandchildren as background (the picture colors now become the theme colors - which now match the colors of many of the "flat" icons...) I am finding the phone very difficult to use--espeically things like the calendar which has now become very hard to "see" and use. If I can't revert this thing to iOS6, I may have to get a different phone.

Apple does not get involved with lost or stolen items. A carrier may offer IMEI blocking (non in the USA currently do, but elsewhere some do). Your carrier would already know your IMEI number anyway, so just contact them and ask them about it.
It is VERY good that you had a passcode lock on the device. That means your personal information will be safe. And yes, after 10 failed attempts (each with increasing time out between allowing another attempt) the device will permanently lock them out until they restore the device in iTunes. Anyone can go ahead and restore your iPhone as new in iTunes, but that also wipes everything off it and restores it to new condition - which does mean they can go off and use it as theirs, but at least all your data is gone.
Did you file a police report it was stolen? Also your carrier should be told (and ask them about IMEI blocking). Sorry it is gone, but you did the best thing possible to protect yourself and your information when you set up that passcode lock.

No I haven't synced my iPhone with the computer I'm currently using. The computer that I normally sync my iPhone with is being repaired.

Now I have a few more questions: If I mail my broken iPhone to Asurion, will I be able to get my data off of my iPhone once Asurion has it? And what will happen to my old iPhone and the data on it if I activate my replacement iPhone? Will my broken iPhone just become de-activated and will the data be erased or lost or something? Could I still sync it (with the computer ir originally synced with) and back up the data?

HT4623 HELP I am setting up the OS7 and it will not let me past the accept terms of iCloud...I cannot get past it, close it or finish setup PLUS I cannot use my phone!

I downloaded OS7 and was setting up icloud but it will not let me past the accept, even when I accept all 3 sections. I tried decling but it still will not let me pass.
I cannot use the phone or make any calls...it is just stuck.

I found just by powering off the phone and restarting it, it let me carry on.
