6280 keeps asking for a code
I have a 6280 on O2, it has started to ask for a code, it started asking for it only when it was first turned on, now its asking for it a couple of time a day. no nokia codes work, O2 said remove battery and sim whilst the phones on! that clears it until the next time.
Any ideas how to stop it?
Thanks
Mark.
You need to find out what code it is asking you for - is it a PUK code or a lock code ?
Can you make calls ? If not it'll be a PUK code probably.
One thing you can try doing is resetting your phone, although this may delete some data from your phone.
Please see page 75 of 120 of the manual here :
http://nds1.nokia.com/phones/files/guides/Nokia_6280_UG_en.pdf
for instructions on how to do so.
If it's a lock code then you will need to approach your network operator for further assistance - the default is usually 12345.

Pages keeps asking for registration code. Help!!
I had downloaded a 30 day free trial of Pages before I actually bought it and now that I bought it, it keeps asking for a registration number but I don't have one since I bought it off the Mac app store. I cant save any documents or anything! Can someone help me???
Have you deleted the old Pages copy you downloaded? If not, open Finder, go to Applications folder and do it. Also, delete the Pages copy you downloaded from the App Store. Then, open Terminal (in /Applications/Utilities) and type:
sudo rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iWork.Pages.plist
Finally, open the App Store, go to Purchases tab and download Pages again -
Keeps asking for security code
Helppp! Every time I try to download an app it ask me for my security code...even though it's right it just keeps asking saying that "the security code is invalid" what do I do?
Sometimes if you make a mistake in the way that you have entered your street address or city or any other information in the billing details, you will get the message that the security code is invalid. Double check the information that you entered. The address that you impulse in iTunes must match the billing address on your credt card statement exactly. If you typed "St." In iTunes - but the credt card statement billing address has it as "Street", that can cause problems as well.
If you can't sort it out, contact iTunes.

Why does app store keep asking for sercurity code
Why does the app store keep saying invalid sercurity code when I keep putting in the right code?
Hello!
It might sound strange at first, but it might be related to your cookie settings in Safari. To see if this is true, open Safari and proceed to the Safari prefences by clicking on the Safari menu - to the right of the classic apple-menu - and choosing Preferences.
Click the Privacy tab.
Make sure your cookie-preferences are NOT set to "never" or "block always"
Set to your preferred cookie option, restart your computer once, and see if your issue has been resolved. -

What problem are you having ? Messages about security codes usually refer to the 3 or 4 digit code on the credit card that you have on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3541

I have changed my family sharing organizer payment method but when asked to add members it keeps asking for information for a card I no longer have so I do not have the security code. My current shows in all the correct places but when asked to verify, the old card is referenced. I changed the card in itunes and on my phone and ipad.

TS3297 Redeem Code page keeps asking for iTunes password
Windows 8. I've bought one movie, but on the second try, the Code redemption keeps asking for my password.
Thanks for your advice.Me too.
It is asking me for my iTunes password too often.
I would be okay with it _if it was just for when I hit UPDATE for an application, or buy a new one_... but it seems like it's constantly asking for my iTunes password.
+I'm not worried about somebody ringing up a bill, If my phone is lost, I can just call Apple and have them remote wipe the phone and adjust my account.+ -
Urgent help required - linked subreport keeps asking for parameter value
Greetings,
I have developed a report in the Crystal Reports bundled with Visual Studio 2005. The data is obtained from a stored procedure. One of the fields in the result set is named "Id".
I have embedded a subreport in the details row of the main report. The subreport also gets its information from a stored procedure. This stored procedure has one parameter named "OpportunityId". This field is linked to the field named "Id" above. the subreport has been set to supress blank subreports.
In the development environment and running the executable of the application on the development machine the report works perfectly. The subreport displays as it should and all is well.
When I deploy the report onto user machines where they have the crystal runtime installed, the report keeps asking for a parameter value for the subreport.
I cannot get this to stop happening.
This report is urgently required. PLEASE could someone help me out here.
I am at my wits end.
I have attached a zipe file containing the following:
- the two stored procedure
- the rpt file
- a sample report
- a screen showing the report having just been generated
Thanks in advance,
Robert Lancaster<p>Hi Robert,</p><p>I see your report template and stored procedures. ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.
Cheers, Tom -

Keeps asking for rpt file when executing store procedure
Hi all,
I have coded an standard stored procedure but when I execute it, Management Studio keeps asking for .rpt file to save the results. I am using Enterprise 2008 R2.
This is the code:
USE [mydatabase]
GO
SET ANSI_NULLS ON
GO
SET QUOTED_IDENTIFIER ON
GO
ALTER PROCEDURE [dbo].[usp_chart](
@parameters)
AS
BEGIN
SET NOCOUNT ON;
DECLARE @query NVARCHAR(4000)
DECLARE @total INT
DECLARE @strDescriptor NVARCHAR(4000)
DECLARE @dsvalues NVARCHAR(4000)
DECLARE @strCache NVARCHAR(2000)
SET @strDescriptor = dbo.udf_chart_derived_descriptor_intotemp(@derivation_Id)
SET @dsvalues = dbo.udf_chart_derived_dynamic_query_fortopn( @derivation_Id,
@cache_Id,
@topn,
@flt_customer_Id,
@flt_user_Id,
@flt_datefrom,
@flt_dateto,
@product_Id
SET @strCache = 'SELECT top ' + @topn + 'PERCENT g.Supplier_Id Supplier_Id
INTO #T_CacheTopN
FROM T_CacheSupp g
WHERE g.Cache_Id = ' + @cache_Id +
' ORDER BY g.Position'
IF @strFilter is null
BEGIN
SET @query = @strCache + ';' + @strDescriptor + ';' +
'DECLARE @total INT;' +
@dsvalues +
'SELECT @total = COUNT(*)
FROM #T_Condition;
SELECT c.Condition_Index, ROUND(COUNT(*)/CAST(@total as float),2)*100
FROM #T_Condition c
GROUP BY c.Condition_Index';
END
ELSE
BEGIN
DECLARE @sqlfilter NVARCHAR(2000)
SET @sqlfilter = dbo.udf_chart_dynamic_query_filter_fortopn(@strFilter,@product_Id,@topn, @cache_Id)
SET @query = @strCache + ';' +@strDescriptor + ';' +
'DECLARE @total INT;' +
@dsvalues +
'SELECT @total = COUNT(*)
FROM #T_Condition;'+ @sqlfilter +
';SELECT c.Condition_Index, ROUND(COUNT(*)/CAST(@total as float),2)*100
FROM #T_Condition c LEFT OUTER JOIN #T_NotWanted d
ON c.Data_Id = d.Data_ID
WHERE d.Data_Id is null
GROUP BY c.Condition_Index';
END
EXEC(@query)
RETURN
END
When I execute:
DECLARE
@parameters NVARCHAR(4000)
execute usp_chart_derived_fortopn @parameters
it asks me for a .rpt file.
Why is that? I am not running a report.
ThanksAs other have said, you have set Results to File.
But since you posted your code, I had a look at it. I was not able to understand why you use dynamic SQL. For instance, this:
SET @strCache = 'SELECT top ' + @topn + 'PERCENT g.Supplier_Id Supplier_Id
INTO #T_CacheTopN
FROM T_CacheSupp g
WHERE g.Cache_Id = ' + @cache_Id + ' ORDER BY g.Position'
Can be written as
SELECT top (@topn) PERCENT g.Supplier_Id Supplier_Id
INTO #T_CacheTopN
FROM T_CacheSupp g
WHERE g.Cache_Id = @cache_Id
ORDER BY g.Position
If you can avoid dynamic SQL, your code becomes easier to maintain, and less vulnerable for nasty surprises.
And if you use dynamic SQL, you should use sp_executesql and pass parameter values as parameters instead of inlining them.
