6280 videos freeze camera operation failed camera ...

Noticed a couple of other threads similar but does anyone have any fixing suggestions ?
Phone has worked fine for a couple of months but now if I try to playback a video the phone freezes then sort of re-boots after about 10 secs. Also if I try to switch camera on, phone freezes again for a bout 10 secs, then 'operation failed' is displayed, then screen shows 'camera in standby' and the only next move is to exit.

For Nokia to take a look into it they need to know about it.
I would suggest going back to the repair centre and telling them that the FW update has not resolved it. Maybe there is a higher level repair centre they can send it to.

  • 5140 - Camera say operation failed/problem with ch...

Every time I try to take a photo it comes up with 'operation failed'. There's plenty of memory, 'tis a mystery to me.
ALSO - charging, says it's full, but after one (short) call it's empty.
Any ideas 'cos I love this phone and don't really want to replace it.

  • Found an error related to "can't get video from Camera"

So, I am back with the same issue: it is now 3-4 months I can't Video chat because iChat AV tells me "can't get video from camera". I disable the firewall (for the test), I forwarded nearly ALL the TCP and UDP packets from my router to the mac, I stopped any application such as PostgreSQL or others which might interfeer. I checked I didn't have any strange firewall rules still on even when switched of from UserPreferences (sudo ipfw list)...
Well, I can see myself with the camera but it won't get the image of the party I am connecting to. So... I looked in the console and:
2006-03-04 19:09:14.926 iChat[9245] WARNING: Freeze-frame failed: couldn't get local buffer for layer Local!
Each time, this is the message.
I did the downgrade Quicktime test I also reinstalled the combined update... nothing worked.
It seems CRAZY that nobody at Apple can at least tell me WHERE to have a look. After all the message is not very clear. Where is the problem? My mac, my router, iChat?
I filed a bug BTW... because it DID work in the past and now stoped working, so my netgear router can't be in fault (I also checked the logs of the router and of the firewall... nothing seemed to be stoped)

    Hi Alexander,
Defcom aslo has a Netgear And I will let him come back on that side.
On the error front iChat has about 4 standard messages.
    1) User did not Respond.
    2) Insufficient Bandwidth.
    3) Can not get Video from Camera
    4) Did not get data for 10 secs
Unfortunately the causes can overlap, hence the lack of Ahaa !!
The most common feature of all of them is something to do with the way the routing devices are set up.
This leads us to start with the LAN set up,
    The ports that are open,
the method used to open them,
Whether DHCP is being used with Port Forwarding as the IP can change to your computer and the Port Forwarding point to the "wrong" IP
How many devices are in the link to the Internet ?
IF you are doing NAT (Port Forwarding or Port Triggering) ?
Whether your ISP has started dong NAT to your service
Whether they offer a SIP based Service like VoIP phones.

  • 6280... camera on standby

i hav a big problem with 6280..the camera is stuck on standby....and appears operation failed..Message Edited by wizzu on 24-Sep-2006

No ....I have been on the phone to T Mobile today, to see what they can do as the 6280: 1. Crashes randomly when texting 2. Randomly loses numbers from it's memory 3. Has software which may have been cleverly designed by Nokia marketing people, so that you can only view your 'backed-up' personal contacts when you have a NOKIA PHONE connected! ie Viewing my contacts will be very very difficult if in future I decide not to upgrade to another Nokia phone.... 4. Has no camera function. T-Mobile have offered me a swap, but I know that I lose my rights if I take this. They have referred me to Nokia, Nokia, what can you do please? I'm a business user who wants a phone that works without problems, and can back up my contacts for now and the future should I choose a phone that is not a Nokia phone. If Nokia are not prepared to do anything (???Response awaited) then I will go to my local trading standards as I consider the phone to be unfit for the purpose for which it was sold to me....

  • Adobe Premiere Elements 13 stops working trying to add media via videos from camera

When I try to add media selecting videos from camera or flip, Adobe Premiere Elements 13 stops working and closes. What might be the problem?

    elizabethmeow
On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running? Have you had the opportunity to update 13 to 13.1 using an opened projects Help Menu/Update?
What are the full properties of your source media and how are you importing them that you are trying to import into the project? A quick way to get that information, if you do not know that information, is for you to post the brand/model/settings for the camera that recorded the video.
Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Element 13, and are you running the program as Administrator?
Lots of additional questions, but the answers to the above may give us the answer that you need to resolve you issue.
    Thank you.

  • Can't get video from camera update / suggestions?

As I think others have reported, I have lost my ability to participate in iChat AV video sessions, and any attempt produces a "can't get video from camera" error message. I am running OS 10.4.5.
I have an extra internal hard drive with no OS on it, so I did a clean install of Mac OS 10.4 and iChat was back to working. I then applied all the Apple Software Updates to bring it up to 10.4.5 as well as any othe Security Updates and such, and it is still working OK as long as I boot off that OS.
This tells me the problem cannot be in my Router or DSM Modem, I think.
In the past, I have had ShowMacster and iGlasses installed on my original system, but I believe that I have uninstalled both of those properly. Still does not work.
I DO have Apple Remote Desktop - Admin installed on this startup volume, and I cannot say for sure whether the problem may have started around the time I installed it. It's possible, I just wasn't keeping chronological records of installs back then.
So, the GOOD news is that I can participate in any iChat AV session I want to be in as long as I have prior notice or enough time to reboot my G5 PowerMac under my second drive, but I still can't keep iChat AV open on my main drive and expect to be able to respond to impromptu invites to a video session.
I thought I may have read that Apple Remote Desktop can create a conflict. If anyone knows, I would be all ears! Thanks for any suggestions.

I believe I have solved the mystery of why I was getting the "can't get video from camera" error message. I had said earlier that I had Apple Remote Desktop (admin) loaded on my Mac but that I did not normally have this application open. What I failed to realize, though, was that for some reason I also had Apple Remote Desktop set to ON in my Sharing System Preferences pane. All I had to do was to uncheck this box and my ability to carry on video chats returned.
I expect that somehow in the process of installing and running the Apple Remote Desktop application to access another Macintosh on my home network, I must have either manually or automatically caused Apple Remote Desktop to be turned ON as if I was wanting to allow some other Admin user to connect to my Mac. Doesn't make much sense to me, but I am happy with the solution.

  • What url is used to send videos in camera roll to youtube?

Our school blocks youtube.com on the wireless network, which is fine, but my students need to send videos they create on 4g iPod Touches to YouTube and currently can't. School personnel says if I can tell them url to unblock, they will allow the upload. Uploading videos in Camera Roll works successfully from home, but I see no url and don't know how to track it.
I know they log blocked traffic at school and could look this up, but they don't want to take the time to do this; they want a url they can paste into their filtering appliance.

Your photos are included with your photos in iPhoto.  They display with a small videocamera icon at the bottom left of the thumbnail and the elasped time at the bottom right.

  • Importing video from camera won't play

I have imported pics and video frommy camera into iPhoto. The pics show up fine, but the vidoes are black squares. When I try to play, Quicktime opens, but the screen is just black/blank. The file looks to be an avi file? What do I do to make this work? I want to view the videos and eventually put them in iMovie. Help!?

    create76
The usual cause for this is that you don’t have the codecs on your Mac to play these particular avi’s. The avi is a container for many possible codecs, so while one might play another might not.
Try install Perian, which will add codecs to Quicktime for you. Otherwise go back to the website of your camera’s maker and see if they have a Quicktime plug-in.

  • Does deleting your videos in camera roll go to the cloud

I am trying to get more storage on my ipad2....what do I do to remove videos from camera roll without permanently deleting them?

If you delete the videos from the camer roll, they will be gone - unless you import them to your computer.
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from ... - Apple - Support
iCloud is not an external storage drive in the sky, it is backup storage in the sky. You cannot upload and download from iCloud like you can copy and transfer files to and from an external hard drive.

  • If you have a video in camera roll on the ipod touch is it only videos taken with the actual ipod or is it possible to transfer videos from your computer to the camera roll?

If you have a video in camera roll on the ipod touch is it only videos taken with the actual ipod or is it possible to transfer videos from your computer to the camera roll? The ipod touch was bought in feb. 2011

You can transfer videos from your computer to the iPod Touch, but not to the Camera Roll.
The Camera Roll is for temporary storage only - for photos/videos captured by the iPod Touch and for photos saved from a received email or from a website. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.

  • HT1766 lost my iphone and can't find photos and videos from camera roll on my computer. where are they?

lost my iphone and can't find photos and videos from camera roll on my computer. where are they?
    thanks

    Where did you put them?
These are not part of the sync process at all, as the manual tells you.  You should be importing them to your comptuer regularly as you would with any digital camera.
