6288 restarts in the tab view menu

Hi!
I have updated my branded (t-mobile- Germany) 6288 to the 6.43 firmware.
So far it works. But whenever I am in the menu tab view and change the menu, eg from menu 1 to menu 7 by "scrolling" to the left or just one "scroll" to the right, the phone turns off and starts again.
In the grid menu view this doesn't happen!
Does anyone has the same problem or do you have any idea how to repair this?
I think I am going to a nokia shop and try to get an older firmware because 6.10 worked well!

Are you talking about in the File>Open dialog in photoshop cs6?
Could you post screenshot of what you see?
Windows 7 doesn't have a thumbnail option as windows xp, but you should be able to at least see the jpeg thumbnails without any third party programs.
If you pick Tiles or one of the three Icon options at the top, your not able to see the jpeg thumbnails?

Is it possible to customise the tab/address/menu bar positions? I dislike the default position changes.

Similar to MS Office, one can position all the menu bars in any order, top down or sideways as required. I find that with ver 4, the tabs on the top line , the search, home buttons etc are not intuitive and are quite annoying with their positional changes.

How can I get Thumbnails back in the file View Menu?

My computer died and I had to re-install CS6. I had originally installed it to an external hard drive expecting that I could just hook up a new computer when the time came and everything would work as before. Not to be. I contacted Adobe and got the program re-installed. Now, when I open a file, I am unable to change the view in the View Menu to 'thumbnail' because 'thumbnail' is no longer an option. How can I get that option back?

What do the 'LOCK TAB and PROTECT TAB' choices on the tab Context menu do?

Right-click context menu on tabs shows Lock Tab and Protect Tab, but I cannot find any information on what each choice actually does. Can someone explain them to me?

Those contextual menu items are added by the Tab Mix Plus extension.

Freezing the List View Menu

Hi Team,
I have asked to make the SP list and Library views menu freeze.
But I did not find anything that can be done/doable moreover, I read few articles regarding "How to freeze the List or Library views menu" the answer is it was done by some java scrip/jquery.
However, many were saying it just works 1(one) time later it gets break.
Hence are there any different ways of achieving this task? Kindly advise.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to freeze the column header of a list view.

How does one remove videos in the "most viewed" menu?

My Ipad2 has several unsavory videos on the "most viewed" area of my You Tube thanks to someone I let use my device (it was supposed to keep a 9 year old occupied while her mother and I were car shopping. Little did I know that I would receive my device back with filth among the videos of young singers and makeup tips). I would really like to get these removed. Could someone please assist a really disgusted aunt?

In the YouTube app tap the History button on the bottom right then the Clear button on the top left and confirm it.

Why is it that when I set the preference to always show the tab bar, it refuses to stay checked after I quit Firefox and restart it?

Using Mac OSX10.6.7 and FF 4.0.1, I'm having a problem with the preference to always show the tab bar. I want it to always show. I check this in the Preferences under the "tab" window, and everything is fine until I quit FF and when I restart FF the tab bar is gone again. I go into preferences, and that option is now unchecked. How can I fix this so that my preference is saved?

That hasn't helped the last ten times I tried. I posted before. I deleted the preferences file, I tried changing the preferences file, I went into about:config and changed the autoHide preference there. No dice. Firefox is not saving my preference for that one thing.

Can I re-arrange the tabs after the menu is created?

You cannot re-arrange in Configurator UI. One workaround is to open the gpc file with a text editor, and re-arrange the order of elements "canvas" under element "tabnavigator". You'd better to backup the gpc file before editting gpc file manually. You should be careful when editing the gpc file. If you do something wrong, the panel will not be opened correctly.

Create a tab view item in obj-c for use in applescript studio

I'm making an application with applescript studio. I want to be able to add tab view items to a tab view at the press of a button. The problem I have is applescript studio doesn't allow me to create a new tab view item. So I'm thinking I can create the tab view item using objective-c, pass that to my applescript, then add it to my tab view.
In applescript I plan to use the following call methods to first create the tab view item object, and then add it to my tab view. The objective-c code which is called from the first line in the applescript code is below that. When I run my code I'm getting an error saying newTVI is not defined... so maybe you can see my error! Be kind to me because I'm new to objective-c and I'm sure that's where my problem lies. Anyway, I'd appreciate any help.

View Menu defaults

How can you make "Details" the default "View Menu" instead of "List"?

How do i make the tabs attach on bottom (the "page") instead of hanging from the top (the URL bar).

Last time i restarted FF, the tabs, which are under the URL bar, are "hanging from" the URL bar, with a space under the tabs before the page starts. I want it attached on bottom, with the space on top of the tabs.
I do not know if this is an option, or from some addon that i am or am not using. Please help me.

I only have one theme, the default. I do not use other toolbars. I started in safe mode, all add-ons disabled.

Multiple view state best practice for IOS packaged app - Tabbed view or blank template?

I have an iPad app that has a fairly complex main view. Has lots of view state changes. Before a user can get to that main view, however, they have to go through two other screens:
1. Authentication
2. Fill out and submit a small form (maybe 6 fields)
If they do those two things right, they can move on to the main view. If they don't, they can't move on and the main view shouldn't load.
Don't want a tab bar showing in the main view. Has to be full screen.
My thoughts were:
1. Start with the tabbed view template because it's built for this. Just figure out a way to hide bars top and bottom for main view.
2. Use a blank template and do everything with standarf Flex view states
Not sure...

Or you can go with door #3, a blank template with a ViewNavigator you use to push and pop your views from the Main.
View states are heavy. Avoid them like the plague in mobile apps. They are ok for small things like buttons and such, but that's about it.

Tabbed Viewer Template is not displaying tabs in CC 2014.1

When I open the Tabbed Viewer template in Edge Animate CC 2014.1, I get the message "This file was created using a previous version of Edge Animate. This file will be automatically upgraded...". OK, I'm fine with that except when I preview it in browser, the tabs do not show up.

I have others options to using the Tabbed Viewer to accomplish what I needed to, but I'd like to try something I haven't tried before and it would be great to use Tabbed Viewer in Edge Animate CC 2014.1.

Smart View menu bar option not showing in Word

Hello,
Recently had Smart View (11.1.2) installed on my PC. I can see the Smart View menu bar option in all office products except Word (2003). Any suggestions as to how to get this to show?

You need to ensure the COM add-in is enabled. File > Options > Add-in.
If it's not shown, you will need to manually add the add-in referencing the HsAddin.dll from the Smartview\bin directory.

Tab context menu on empty tab bar.

When right clicking on an empty area of the tab bar, I get a context menu to select which toolbars I want to show or to customise Firefox's layout. As I recall (and my muscle memory seems to agree) this used to bring up the tab context menu instead, allowing me to re-open closed tabs and the like. Is there any way to restore this functionality?

The Tab bar is a regular toolbar in current Firefox version (you can place toolbar buttons on it) and right clicking on empty space will open the toolbar context menu.<br />
You need to right-click a tab to get the Tab context menu.
