6303i Classic - no option to change Right Selectio...

Just been upgraded to a 6303i Classic. I want to remove Web (which I won't use) from the Right Selection key and put Names there like it was on my old 6230.
The manual says I can change the Right Selection key in Settings, My Shortcuts. I see options to change the Left Selection key and the Navigation key, but there is no option to change the Right Selection key.
The software is on version 6.84. I attempted the update to 7.10 using the phone's own updater, but it came back saying no update was available.
Grateful for any thoughts from the world out there .....

I too have the same problem with no Right Selection Key. When I contacted Vodafone, they said that it was Nokia responsible for setting it that way.
Who do I contact now? Is it possible for someone/company to change it?
This is the first time I have had a Nokia phone, unfortunately I'm not impressed with it so far

No, there is no such option in iOS 7. Apple never allow you to make too big a change to the overall look and feel of their systems, they like a high degree of uniformity in how the devices look and operate. No reskinning options are ever offered. They always have worked like this, and I suspect they will continue to do so in the future too.
The new flatter design, with translucent layering and spare geometric icons is their UI direction for the next few years at least I think. They'll probably twiddle with the details over the next few point releases of iOS 7 (maybe offer a thicker system font as an option and so forth) but the overall design direction is clearly what you have now with iOS 7.
So I'm afraid it's highly unlikely they will implement your request for an option to return to the old skumorphic design. But it can't hurt to suggest it.

I just solved my problem based on the clues given by the 2 responses I recieved. I realized that I do indeed have Snow Leapord and it was as easy as grabbing the margin bar at the base of the mail display screen and locking the crosshairs on the bar and dragging it up to the north if you will and the bottom pane was then once again revealed. I guessing my kids mucked it up. Thanks for the support.

If you right click on your clip, does it offer to Optimize Video? If so, after you optimize you can change the speed.

Are you saying you've lost the "Basic" tool tab?
If yes, just right-click on one of the other tabs and select "Basic" from the context menu that's presented.

Poor JPEG Quality in 6303i Classic

Is there any way to change the JPEG quality ratio in 6303i Classic. The 3.2 MP camera's excellent details are totally lost due to lossy JPEG compression (the phone, by default, saves with 60% quality ratio)
Or is there any other way to retain the quality of photos?

Also check whether the quality is good when viewing it in actual percentage, are you changing the dimensions of image after loaded?

I would like to change my apple ID to what is apparently my "recovery" email address but I don't see any option to change my recovery email (gmail). Whats up with that?

Nokia Messaging 6303i classic - no e-mail alerts

Hi all,
I have a problem with Nokia Messaging on my new phone - Nokia 6303i classic. The problem is that I can't enable the e-mail alert option - when I tick the "Alert me for new e-mail" option, it says "E-mail alerts not available. Alerts option ot available". My e-mail account is in Gmail. My service provider (VIVACOM, Bulgaria) says that they support Nokia Messaging and that it's up to some settings (which they apparently can't figure out!). I have all the necessary settings to access the internet and the phone browser works great; Nokia Messaging also works - connects to my Gmail account, receives messages, the only problem is with new e-mail alerts.
I know 6303i doesn't support multitasking - could the problem be related to this (e-mail client unable to run in the background)?
I used a Nokia 2330 before and it had a native e-mail client with far more capabilities - no problem with e-mail alerts, could edit (copy/paste) received e-mail body text (a very useful function which lacks in Nokia Messaging!) - can I get that on my 6303i instead of Nokia Messaging?
Phone firmware version: V10.80/21-01-11/RM-638
Nokia Messaging version: 1.3.49

I recieved an update from Nokia support center. For everyone wondering, here's the deal, as far as I get it 6303i comes with embedded Nokia messaging application instead of the usual s40 native e-mail client; that's why there's no e-mail alert tone option in the profiles' settings. However, when you try to enable e-mail alerts from inside the Nokia Messagign application, you get an error message stating that this option is unavailable. What I could make out is that, as s40 doesn't support multitasking, Nokia Messaging can't be left running in the background and therefore can't alert you on new e-mails. As I see it, it's a design failure.
Nokia, if you couldn't make Nokia Messaging e-mail alerts work in s40, why didn't you just leave the good old native e-mail client, for crying out loud???!!!

Nokia 6303i classic software update

I bought new nokia 6303i classic mobile phone. Currently my software version is V06.61 . But when i browse internet that current updat reaches V 7. How can i update ? When i try to update , it shows that you have installed latest software. No updates avaliable. Help me

6303i Classic & Outlook

I have a 6303i Classic handset and installed the Nokia software and drivers all OK I can sync the mobile contacts, calander, etc with my laptop but I see there is an options to sync with Outlook which I have tried but it says the phone is not supported.. now is this a case or is there a problem with the sotfware/drivers or phone settings. Also have a problem sync'in with the laptop bluetooth. Laptop can connect to other devices and it's on XP Pro

This is not a common issue with the phone model in general.
Common causes of purer than expected battery life can include poor signal reception (if your operator has a poorer than average signal in your area, the phone will be hunting for a signal more often which uses more battery power), or and also Bluetooth being left on all the time.
If you want a refund, then your recourse is with the retailer who sold it; but you would be better advised take the phone to a Nokia service point, they would look at the phone under warranty. They will fix the phone, if fixing isn't possible they replace it.

With the new 3.6 tabbing behaviour (new tabs open to the right of the current tab, rather than at the end of the tab list), the old default behaviour when a tab is closed is no longer appropriate. Instead of displaying the next tab after the one that was closed, FF should display the previous one. Is there an about:config option to change the default behaviour upon closing a tab?

If you can't remember your current answers then if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the option to send reset info won't appear, and you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions. I have tried to update the itunes to the new version, and it keeps trying to download to drive E! It doesn't give me any options to change it either, does anyone have any suggestions?!
