6303i won't sync with a MacBook - HELP PLEASE!

Hi,
I have just got a 6303i as a business phone - all I need is a phone that would sync the contacts from the MacBook so that I can call or text easily. But I have a few issues...
Firstly, it is not supported by the Mac via Bluetooth; the two would just not speak to each other at all.
Secondly, thew USB cable connection offers PC Suite, Printing & Media or Data Storage options - none of these seem to enable synchronisation. I have downloaded Syncmate onto the MacBook which finally allowed the MacBook to see the phone, and I could transfer files via the Data Storage option, but that is not actually what I want to do!
Thirdly, the manual is rubbish! I'm not highly tech savvy so I tend to follow the book and its actually wrong! The sequence in the manual for synchronisation is as follows:
menu>settings>sync & back up> synchronisation, then a choice of 6 options. In reality the phone has:
menu>settings>sync & back up, then straight into a choice of 4 options (phone switch, create back up, restore back up, data transfer.
Has anyone managed to get these phones to sync with a MacBook? And what is the point of printing and supplying a manual which doesn't match the reality of the phone?? It is EXTREMELY frustrating! And yes, it is the correct manual for this phone.

Old Mac Ipod won't sync with new Macbook (help!)

Ok so this is probably something really easy but I can't for the life of me get it to work.
I got a new Macbook Pro recently and have been building up a new library with my older songs and newer ones I've acquired since the purchase. My problem is when I go to sync my Ipod to the new Mac my ipod automatically goes to the "ok to disconnect" screen without syncing anything. I pressed "sync" and "transfer purchases" and it still goes into disconnect mode, very quickly too.
Its almost as if the ipod is protecting itself and dosen't want to sync to the new Mac for that reason, but that's what I need it to do. Its a 'Mac to Mac' move so its not like I'm putting a Mac ipod into a Windows computer
What do I have to do, or how do I get to a setting that would let my ipod sync successfully on this new laptop? If anybody could help it would totally save the day.
The ipod is an iPod classic 2008-09 120gb

You would have to tell it to erase and sync the iPod. With a new library you will want to sync exclusively or set up “Manually manage music” on the iPod to make it work properly

IPhone won't sync with iTunes. Help?

iPhone won't sync with iTunes. It just says, "waiting for sync to start." But no matter how long I leave it like that, it never syncs. Wirelessly or via USB. I have restarted both my computer and my phone. I have deleted and reinstalled iTunes. I have installed the latest version of iTunes and the software on my phone is up to date. Nothing seems to work.
Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

Keep your iphone connected. Quit iTunes. Reopen iTunes. Sync begins automatically. It worked for me and several others who had already followed the advice.

My new iPad2 won't sync with my MacBook running OS X 10.6.8 can anybody help please?

I have just bought an iPad2 from eBay (great buy) but now find I can't sync it with my MacBook which is old and runs OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) I can't access my photos, music email etc. Can anybody suggest a solution ? Thanks

As I already had Windows 7 x32 installed on my MacBook and just upgraded to Windows 8 x32 it is difficult to say whether you can directly install Windows 8 x32 or have to do the upgrade Windows 7 x32 route.

This is for getting Windows 8 x64 installed but it may work for Win 8 x32 using the switching of the CD's from Windows 7 to Windows 8.
I initially used my Windows BootCamp 3.0 drivers on the my Snow Leopard disc after using BootCamp 3.0 to install Windows 7 x32 so I would try using those 3.0 Windows drivers first and then upgrading to the Bootcamp 4.0.4033 drivers after you have booted into Windows 8.

My iPhone 4S won't sync with my macbook pro version 10.9.1

I got my Macbook for christmas (2013) and my iphone 4s (2011). When I plug my iphone into my old macbook (2007) it works fine but when I try plugging it into my new macbook (2013) it keeps dinging until I unplug it from computer. Sometimes an error message will pop up in iTunes. It won't sync at all. I haven't backed up my iPhone lately and I'm afraid I'll lose a lot of recent stuff. My old macbook was too slow to handle all my data and photos from my iphone.

I wish I had a solution. I have a 4S. It synced fine with my PC, but now I have a Macbook Air and when I try to sync it simply flashes "Trust Computer?" on and off. I have tried rebooting, resetting, etc. Nothing works. I am really surprised that Apple has not been able to address this, as I have found other discussions of the same problem back to 2012.

My Ipod nano 3rd gen stopped syncing with my Itunes for some reason. I switched the cords and it still doesn't sync. It doesn't even show the little lightning bolt on the battery and more.

IPad won't sync with my Macbook Pro and iPhone through iCloud

Since I have activated iCloud my Mac Book pro are syncing contact and iCal fine. However, I can't get my iPad to sync with either. I have all the setting set on my iPad for syncing via iCloud but the syncing is not working either way.

I fixed my problem but not sure how. I got rid of a duplicate email not Mac. Don't think that was it. I did go in and switched all my data to 15 minutes and then back to push. Then suddenly mt iPad synced. I think the key was I looked at other sync problem posts and tried to make sure all my iPad settings were the same s those on my phone and iMac that were syncing

Ipad won't sync with my macbook as it says not recognising apps

i purchased the west wing and have been doenloading episodes on my ipad. today, all of a sudden, my ipad will not sunc with my macbook and allow the transfre of these epsiodes as it says it does not recognise apps on my ipad2
all apps are up to date on my ipad and my macbook.

Now I feel like a dork. I switched my ipad off 10 times, but the problem was resolved by switching the macbook offf and on. thank you!!

My phone won't sync to my laptop, help please!

I have a mac with the latest version of iTunes updated, and an iPhone 5s. Today I tried syncing new music from my laptop onto my phone and it just won't sync. There is more than enough available space on my phone for the few songs I'm trying to sync. Also, when I deleted music from my iTunes library, it won't even delete that from my phone when I attempt to sync it. If anybody knows why this could be, it would be greatly appreciated!

Since your phone is syncing with iCloud, it will not sync your calendar and contacts with your Mac using iTunes. To solve this, you need to also sync your Mac with your iCloud account. However, this requires OS X 10.7.5 (Lion) or higher. If your system supports it (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5842), you can download a free upgrade to OS X Mavericks from the Mac App Store. If your system can only run OS X Lion (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5842), you can go here to purchase a redemption code to download it from the Mac App Store.
Once you upgrade the OS X operating system on your Mac, you can go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign into your iCloud account and check the data you want to sync with iCloud (calendars, contacts, etc.). After that, your Mac will be able to sync with your phone using iCloud whenever it's connected to the internet.

Problem with my Macbook - HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

This is my second 1.83ghz 1 gb ram 80 gb hard drive Macbook. The first one mooed and had a buzzy display. This one has been perfect for three weeks. Have loved it. But today, my girlfriend shut it down, apparently properly, we took it out of it's case to use it and the fan was on FULL blast. Even though the computer was off! It then wouldn't turn on for ages. The macbook was very, very hot at this point.
Eventually it restarted when the fan went off ten minutes later. The battery level had gone from 80% to 28%. And then it said 'Mac OS X unexpetedly quit' and carried on as normal.... for the moment.
My girlfriend said 'it's done it once before' too.
Any heads up on this? Many thanks in advance.

It definitly sounds like she instructed the computer to shut down, but did not wait for the Mac OS to actually shut off the computer befre closing the lid. Doing so suspends activity and puts the computer into sleep mode where it still uses power. If you put the computer in a bag, the heat will build up, and I would expect it do do as you described.
Ask your girlfriend if she waited for the screen to turn black or not. If she did wait for the screen to turn black, then you definitly have a problem that should be taken up with AppleCare, or Apple.

IPhone 5c won't sync with my Macbook

As of last night after downloading a few songs, I tried to sync my iPhone 5c (with the latest update) to my Macbook (also with the latest updates on both software and iTunes) to get the songs. Didn't work. It'd do the do you trust this computer/iPhone and I'd click yes and it'd connect for a solid 6 seconds and disconnect automatically (didn't click any buttons, I swear I'm not that technologically incompetent). Figuring maybe the error is my laptop, I tried syncing it to a mac desktop but yet again, would not work but instead of the trust pop-up it just told me to update my iPhone's iTunes.
Honestly extremely frustrated right now and would really appreciate if someone could help me out. I read other articles of people having similar issues

I purchased a Macbook pro today and I can't seem to get my iMessages that I have on m iPhone 6 onto my mac. Calendar and mail are working.

It will "Sync" (or rather "display on all devices") only from the time you set it up.
It will not grab "historical" iMessages.

i used synchios to tranfer my music on my 1st gen ipod touch . My daughter did an update or smething and now it wont work . tried resetting both software and and ipod but to no avail , can i find a ios to re-download and change it back

Last time I synced was March 17. Can't remember if there's been updates on the phone. None on the laptop.
I'm so annoyed.
I've done the usual shutdown/on again stuff. Just can't get it to work.
Any help would be appreciated.

Nevermind. After reading through a bunch of fixes, one suggested resetting my modem, duh!!
I certainly know to do that when the laptop is acting up, had no idea that would fix the iPhone too!!

Mac Blackberry Desktop Manager Won't sync with New Bold 9650

I have a new Bold 9650 (upgraded from a curve). My curve recognized and would sync with no problems. I used BB Desktop Manager to restore my new bold with all it's contacts and such. When showing up in DM, the options for restore and back up are available. When I click on applications it says I need a newer version of desktop manager. I have downloaded the most recent from the website and it still says this.
More importantly, the SYNC option doesn't even come up while the two are connected. It stays greyed out and won't let me get the option to sync. This worked fine with the curve, but the bold won't sync!!! Help please!!!
