64-Bit Flash-Player (Language: German - Deutsch)

Hallo,

  • I need to install 64 bit flash player on my 64 bit system

How do I uninstall the 32 bit flash player  that is on my system now?

    Hi williew87663771,
What OS version do you have?  On Windows and Mac the Flash Player installer is a universal installer that contains both the 32- and 64-bit players.  If you have Windows or Mac the correct version is already installed.  On Linux there are two different files and the installer type depends on the Linux distribution.

  • 64 bit Flash Player for Windows

Just in case anyone at Adobe actually reads this forum (which I doubt).
Why is it taking so long for Adobe to release a 64 bit Flash Player for Windows. 64 bit computing has been readily available to purchase for nearly three years now (Linux even longer). What are they doing at Adobe?. Is it because they think there is not enough money in it for them?
What a sad state of affairs.

I have now been waiting over a year for a 64 Bit Windows flash player that will work on IE8.
I have had a 64 bit computer for two plus years and cannot understand the reluctance by the software market providers to support the ever increasing 64 bit community. Its rediculous it seems that they will not write these programs as there are not so many people using 64 bit and there are not so many people going for 64 bit because there are not so many 64 bit pieces of software out there.
I believe that it is up to the softawre writers to take the lead. Adobe being one of them. They are supposed to be a leading edge software provider yet they appear not to be able to provide 64 bit software, or at least not in this decade.
If you google 64 bit flash player it comes back with 14 million hit requests - surely 14 million is enough for Adobe to think about actually realeasing something.
I use Windows 7 64 Bit OS and it is the best OS I have used to date - rock steady and dam fast. I use IE8 64 bit as a browser and Firefox 32 bit so I can use flash. I have been having problems with the latest release of Firefox (3.5) so tend to use the IE8 more - this is very fast - But no Flash available!!!!!
It has been a very long time now - come on Adobe there are enough people out there wanting it - give us a date for a 64 bit Windows Flash player - preferably before then end of the year (2009) rather than the end of the decade - thanks guys!

  • Change flash player language

    Help!!!
Ok here's the thing, i'm working on a system that's in
german, but i would like the flash player to be in english atleast
when throwing errors, because i don't really understand german that
well and they just make more sense in english.
    TIA.

Well that is NOT a fix!!
In my situation, it is not possible to change the language of the Operating System. For instance, I prefer to work with a French OS, but only for programming purposes, I would like to have my Flash Builder and Flash Player error messages in English.
It is very sad that Adobe is not able to provide language control to the users.

  • Windows Vista 64-bit Flashe Player 11 issues.

I am operating on Windows Vista 64-bit. Adobe automatically downloaded Flash Player 11. I use the FireFox browser. Now I can not view some things to include things on the Adobe site. Is there something I need to do as far as setting and what not go? I have cleared my cache and restarted my pc several times and still same issue.

Could you please try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox? http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-content-rendered-mozilla-firefox.html

  • Why would 32-bit Flash Player be installed on a new 64-bit computer?

    Hi,
    I've a 5-day old Windows 8.1 computer using Internet Explorer 11.
The Control Panel has an entry that reads, "Flash Player (32 Bit)".
When I click on it and go to "Advanced", the update options are all greyed-out - though next to the CHECK NOW box it says, "Plug in version - not installed"
By searching the hard drive, I've discovered that the Flash Player version is 12.0.0.38 - is this OK for a 64-bit machine?
Also, should I install the missing plug in? (and where would I find it!)
Can I "un-grey" the update options?
Any help or advise would be appreciated!
    John Latter

    Thanks, Mike
When I tried to run the first one it encountered errors saying IE11 already contained the latest version of Flash Player built-in.
It then went on to say that Windows Update will inform me when new versions of the Flash Player are available - I guess this is why the options were greyed-out as described above!
I do appreciate your help on this, but could I ask one further question, please?
Before receiving your first reply, I tried to sort the problem out myself. I went to one of the sys folders and clicked on a Flash exe file there - then I bottled out and cancelled it when I was asked, "Are you sure you want to allow this program to change your computer settings?" (or something similar).
This resulted in a critical event that said Flash Player had stopped working and has affected my "reliability index".
I'm hoping Windows will catch up with itself and realize everything is OK - or have I done any lasting damage? (and if so, how do I rectify it!)

  • Linux - after update to firefox 5 64-bit flash player stopped working

After updating firefox 5 (from stable repo) the flash player stopped working.
I have had installed the adobe flash player square (64 bit) - by following http://queleimporta.com/en/finally-adobe-releases-native-64-bit-flash-10-for-linux/ ...
The .so library is still on its place(/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so), though firefox does not seem to have flash player installed.
before update to firefox 5 it worked
    system is Xubuntu 10.04

Finally I've found out that it's possible to install flash from lucid repositories (which works... named 'flashplugin installer')... I've never noticed that before... So sorry for asking stupid question and thanks to anyone who spend some time even only by reading this thread.
//EDIT: so question 2 - how to tag the topic as solved? :)

  • 64-bit flash player plugin for firefox

I am using Firefox on a 64-bit installation of Linux Mint. I don't believe Firefox has an official 64-bit version.  Can you pinpoint for me specifically which plugin I should be using?  I am a bit confused about which of these options is appropriate for my OS. Thank you.

You can use Flash Player 11.2. Get it from the Adobe site: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
    Thanks,

  • Not able to reinstall 32 bit Flash Player

I am also not able to reinstall my Flash player.  I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.  Tried to install 10.1rc which failed.  Uninstalled that and tried to reinstall my 32 bit  version.  Followed the unininstall instructions (including the double reboot) and went to reinstall the flash player and got the following error message - "The version of Adobe Flash Player ActiveX that you are trying to install is not the most curtent version". Any suggestions?
Sorry. Did not realize that I was supposed to start new thread.
Above is a copy of my post.
Went to control Panel and deleted Flash Player. Then tried to reinstall.
    Went to forums.
Folowed suggestions.  Put uninstaller and installer on desktop. Rebooted. Rebooted again. Closed everything but Norton (don't know how to completely shut down but turned on silent mode to stop continuous scans, and turned off firewall and antivirus auto protect). Ran uninstaller. Rebooted. Ran installer.
Went to MSN.com to view video for test.  Got link to Adobe to get latest Flash Player.  Forgot to mention that I also did a system restore after my post on the other thread.  The control panel uninstall window shows the following adobe programs - Acrobat.com, Adobe Air, Adobe Reader 9.3.2, and Adobe Shockwave Player 11.5.
    Help!

Know about using 32 bit browser.  Was trying 10.1rc because it supports 64 bit browsers. I see two files in the flash folder - flashinstall.log and install.log. Here are the files in rtf format (if that is acceptable to you).

  • Help w 64 bit flash player install

I'm trying to install flash player 11 on a 64 bit hp tower. I just upgraded from vista home premium to w7 home premium.
The download works. I click Run (do you want to run or save) then Run (do you want to run this software) then Yes (do you want to allow this program to make changes to this computer).
Nothing seems to happen -- no install bar appears or anything else to indicate there is activity, but if I try going through the full sequence again it says only one copy can run at a time.
Do you have any idea how to overcome this problem?
Do I just have to wait longer for it to install?

    Thanks Chris!
I wondered if it could be my modem (verizon fios)  because I have two other
computers and none of them will play you tube videos. I'm not sure if that's
what you mean by "network connection to you tube".
The problem started when the latest version of flash player popped up with
the "do you want to install" question. I did it and the first thing that
happened was the message that the new version of flash player wasn't
supported on a 64 bit vista system. I upgraded the system to windows 7 and
    still no flash.
I'll pursue this with you tube but if this additional information prompts
any additional ideas please give me a heads up.
    Thanks!
    Terry

  • Is Flash Player 11 just not compatible with Windows Vista 64 bit?

When I installed the latest version of Flash, I lost the ability to view You Tube videos for more than the first 3 or 4 seconds. Today I went to the adobe site thinking I needed a new flash player, and got this message:
Note:Flash Player does not support 64-bit versions of Windows XP and Vista. Flash Player 11 now includes support for Windows 7 64-bit.
Seriously? So I have to scrap my computer or get Windows 7 in order to use Flash?
I am not a techy, so I have resisted coming to the forums and getting a response I don't know what to do with. If you have an answer for this, I would really REALLY appreciate it if you can translate it into language for the lay person.
It isn't just You Tube videos, either. So many news and other items are now done in video instead of an article, and I am finding that I am not able to get information I am looking for because of this.
    Please help!

What this means is the following: the 64-bit version of Flash Player will install fine on Vista 64-bit, but Adobe will not provide support if it does not work as expected.
In fact, Adobe will not provide any support for any Flash Player on any platform, except here in this forum.
    I suggest that you
uninstall your current Flash Player using the uninstaller from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
install the 64-bit Flash Player with the offline installer(s) from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#Ins tall_in_a_firewall_proxy_server_environment
    Good luck!

Error Adobe Flash Player 11.1.102.55.  I have deactivated User Accounts and Security, gone to Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash and Run as Administrator NPSWF32_FlashUtil, and still not working.  One suggestion was to run an add-on from Macromedia, but that failed and I don't know what the add-on was.  Have also run System Restore and restored all my Internet security setttigs to default.  Nothing is working!

    Check the following:
Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer 9
ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer 9
    Also check this:
In I.E.9, click Tools, click Internet options, click Security tab, ensure that the Internet security level is Medium-high.

  • Help Please? Flash Player not working, windows 7 32 bit IE.

Hi. I cannot get the Flash player to play content in Internet Explorer 32 bit. I am extremely frustrated.  My info is:
    Windows 7/64 bit
    All windows updates are current
    Dell studio 1749 Lap top
    IE 8 32 bit
    IE 8 64 bit
    32 bit Flash Player 10.1.85.3
64 bit flash player "square"  10.2.161.22
    windows firewall
High speed cable with wireless router
    Avast antivirus free  5.0.677
I have spent several days reading this forum as well as other forums on the same subject and have tried many many suggestions that have been posted without results. I have checked my user account settings, mine is set to administrator. I have checked and rechecked Internet explorer internet option settings and tried them all including none ( set to not recommended  lowest  settings) for all the zones. I have reset internet explorer settings under the advanced tab. I have tried to install the flash player many times using both the auto install from the browser window as well as the manual download and install program from your web site many times. I have uninstalled from windows control panel and also using your manual uninstall program between each reinstall attempt.
I have restarted both my computer and internet explorer after each install and uninstall so many times I can't count. There are many other things I have tried as per some of the things I have read but so far no success. The interesting thing i find is while trying to fix this problem i downloaded the flash player code named "square" 64 bit and it works perfectly using Internet explorer 64 bit.
Internet explorere Adobe add ons are:
    In IE 32 bit add ons listed are;
    shockwave activeX control  - enabled
    get_atlcom Class  - enabled
    In IE 64 bit add ons listed are;
    shockwave flash object   -  enabled
    Files installed on my harddrive are;
    in windows/sysWOW64/macromed/flash
    Flash10k.ocx
    Flashinstall.log
    Flashutil10k_activeX.dll
    Flashutil10k_activeX.exe
    in windows/system32/macromed/flash
    Flash64_10_2_161.ocx
    Flashinstall.log
    Flashutil64_10_2_161_activeX.dll
    Flashutil64_10_2_161_activeX.exe
I hope you are able to assist me in fixing this problem.
    Thanks

    Good Morning.
I can not get the batch file to create a log file. Anyway the general message throughout the entire batch file report is that nothing succeded.  Each time it tried to create a reg key the resulting message is :
Regsetsecurity error : 5 access is denied
When trying to reset FP security permissions:
Set security privilage : access is denied
Warning  :unable to SeSecurityPrivilage privilage. This privilage may be required.
Then when it tries to create file "macromed" error is
Createfile error : 1314  A required privilage is not held by the client
Anyway this gives you a general idea of what has happened running the batch file,
I am starting to think we are spending far to much time on this ,but I enjoy the  challange to correct the problem.
If this is due to a corruption or some such thing in the registry I could have reformatted and reinstalled My system complete in less than a day. This is the fourth day on this.
If the User Accounts list me as the administrator and there are no other accounts how can I not have the required permissions?
