64-bit problem from tr1012
I have photoshop 7 but it won't run on my 64-bit Windows 7 computer. Is there something I can do to get to operate?
Try running it under Windows XP compatibility mode. But basically this is a rather old software that may be incompatible with Windows 7.

If you're starting to get Smart warnings, it's probably best to think about replacing the Hard Drive - at the very least, make sure you have a current back-up of all your personal files etc in case the drive fails suddenly.

Try starting iTunes with the shift key held down. If it starts it is probably some old plugin presenting problems. -
Launching a 64 bit jvm from a 32 bit jvm
I want to launch a 64 bit jvm from a 32 bit jvm. The current application works like this
1) The parent jvm A allows users to launch a child jvm B. Child jvm B inherits A's libraries (LD_LIBRARY_PATH) and also A's classpath entries.
2) User can specify his/her own libraries that are to be passed to B (child jvm). These entries are prepended to the inherited entries (A.LD_LIBRARY_PATH).
3) User can specify his/her own classpath entries that are to be added to B. These entries are appended to the inherited entries (A.classapth).
The whole idea behind making the child jvm configurable is that the user can specify a suitable jvm for the child. But optionally the user might specify a different java home (pointing to a 64bit jre/jdk).
Questions :
1) Would simply changing the java for the child suffice? That is instead of
java -classpath=<inherited-entries:specified-entries> abc
we do
-user-specified-java -classpath=<inherited-entries:specified-entries> abc
I have seen that the jvm uses the java.home from the java provided while launching the jvm. Example
$java -version
1.5
$java abc
// will use default java's home as java home internally
$/usr/lib/java-64/jdk/bin/java -version
1.5 64bit
$/usr/lib/java-64/jdk/binjava abc
// will use /usr/lib/java-64/jdk as java home internally
2) How will the classpath entries and libraries interact/interfere with the newly spawned jvm?
Here if the user specifies new libraries for 64 bit jvm, how will they interact/interfere with the 32bit libs.
3) What about native(esp jni) libraries?

You cannot do it without creating a new process.
ProcessBuilder/Runtime.exec() create a new process. The new process can do anything.

If there is a problem it is because of how you set it up or how they are used in the first place.I am more interested in the if. My question is can it happen and if yes whats the explanation and how to solve it.

The problem is in your ODS/DSO.
In your ODS you have 'Doc_num' as key field.
For both Items 1 & 2, you have same key field ( Doc_Num) Value.
So, the first record will be over written by the second one. So from your ODS you will get only the latest record to the Cube.
If you want to send both doc_nums to cube, you need to bring doc_num to the data fields area of ODS.

File>Devices>Transfer Purchases will transfer the itunes purchases to your ocmputer.

1) VPN Tunnel between HQ to Branch Office - That´s OK
2) VPN Tunnel between Client AnyConnect to HQ - That´s OK
The idea is that the Client Anyconnect is to reach the LAN at Branch Office, but did not reach.
The communication is stablished just when I start a session (icmp and/or rdp) from Branch Office to the Client AnyConnect,
in this way, the communication is OK, but just during a few minutes.
Could you help me?

the communication works when you send traffic from easyvpn branch side because it froms the IPSEC SA for local subnet and anyconnect HQ pool. The SA will only form when branch initiates the connection as this is dynamic peer connection to HQ ASA.
when there no SA between branch and HQ for this traffic, HQ ASA has no clue about where to send the traffic from anyconnect to branch network.
I hope it explains the cause.

How to extract 64 bit data from imaq image using IMAQ Extract VI
I have LV 8.5.1, Vision 8.5 and need to extract 64 bit data from a 64 bit image and I get the "invalid image" error while using the IMAQ Extract VI. What version of Vision do I need to allow me to do this?
Currently, the work-around I have...
1) convert the image to 32bit
2) use the ROI tools I to get the rectangle data I need
3) then go back to the original image and the convert the image to a 64 bit array
4) take the rectangle data to extract the data needed out of the 64 bit array data.
klunky but it works. I would think that the IMAQ Extract tool should allow me to extract the 64 bit data but it doesnt... forces me to 32 bit.

Aperture Video Import Problem - from Lumix GH4: Imported clips have their dates changed to the import date. The files show up on the hard drive with import date not created date, but many of these same files are not showing up in Aperture. Sometimes the clips actually show up with the current import but take on the video information from a previously imported file.
It was suggested I move this question to IPhoto or IMovie which I did.
Well moving to a different discussion group did not provide an answer to this question either. But what I finally did was import one batch of photos and videos into IPhoto for a given day at a time. Working with these I could change the date and times in order to get them in the original sequench taken. Then I would create an album with that batch. These would all be on the same day (IMove was closed for this phase). Then I would open IMovie, generate the thumbnails for that album, and select the album I had created. This was necessary because the importing process in IPhoto was using incorrect dates for my video so it was a real struggle finding them in IMove until I developed this approach.
I believe that this whole process was so screwy because I was importing from an external hard drive not a camera. I had these photos on a PC and did not have the original cameras to use to import directly which I am fairly sure would have made this easier! -

thank youClose, but now quite. You need to specify to the VISA Read how many bytes to read, not how many bits. Thus, the input would be 2, not 16. It's also not clear why you're trying to use the "String to Byte Array". The Type Cast will give you a number based on what data type you wired. You're basically telling it how to interpret the string. In this case we're telling it to interpret the string a 16-bit value, so we'll get a 16-bit integer. I know you said you wanted a 10-bit, but you can't have that. You'll get a 16-bit with 6 bits set to zero. Note: I did not completely understand what you said so we may need to change this slightly, but we want to get the communication and reading collection working first.
Also, since you seem to be setting this in a loop you probably want to monitor this or to collect the data. For that you need a shift register. See attached for a modified version of your attempt. You need to set the datatype to I16 or U16 based on whether the value you get from the PIC is signed or unsigned.

Hi,
When I run my report, its perfectly working fine with all the data, subtotals, grand totals etc.
But when I print the ALV by clicking the PRINT Button on the Standard tool bar, My first subtotals are printing correctly. From second, its printing ZEROES and my grand totals are printing double the number as I see on the output.
This is strange and am not able to understand why I get those errors.
ANy pointers please.

I am using Function Module "REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY"
I am displaying a hierarchical ALV with subtotals, page-breaks & grand totals.
The strange thing is that my first SUBtotal gets printed properly. Its the problem from the second subtotal onwards.
Finally, the grand totals also a problem(Doubling when i print first time and triplling,if i print 2nd time ...and so on...)
ANy more clues please.
