6500 Classic NO VALID CERTIICATE error when downlo...

Hi,
I have a Nokia 6500 Classic. I have it unlocked and now set up to use 3 Mobile UK. I have been using the WAP which works fine but when i try to download any app it say NO VALID CERTIFICATE and wont let me download anything,
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I don't really know about the music player issue but I might have an answer for the certificates thing.
The 2730 classic is not exactly a recent phone. It was announced over 4 years ago. It could be that the software packages you're trying to install are also pretty old, meaning that the certificate with which they were signed may well have expired by now.
What you can do is try to set your phone's clock to a date in the past, say in 2010 some time, and then try and install those packages again. If that works then "old age" of the certificates is the answer.
Obviously, don't forget to put your phone's clock back to the correct date afterwards

Not valid PDF error when opening PDF file

I am trying to view a pdf and it starts opening with Adobe but then says it cannot open because it is not a valid pdf. But I have been able to view it on my laptop and other computers. Please help!

I emailed it to myself from my laptop and then was able to open it on my tablet. So clearly it is a valid pdf.... why can't I open it directly on my tablet?

"Not a Valid Widget" error when trying to create a new static widget

I have created an interactive movie swf using flash pro AS3 and am trying to use this within Captivate.
I understand it will have to be inserted as a widget within Captivate. Is this correct? Can I not import it any other way?
If it is true that I have to create a widget, I have tried and failed to adapt the code suggested here:
Create static widgets
In Adobe Captivate, select File > New > Widget in Flash.
In the Create New Widget dialog box, do the following:
In the Widget menu, select Static.
In the ActionScript Version menu, select the ActionScript version that you plan to use when writing the widget code in Flash.
Click OK.
In Flash, right-click the Actions layer in the Timeline, and select Actions.
The Actions panel appears with the template code for the static widget. Customize this code to create your widget.

If you want to get serious about creating AS3 widgets for Adobe Captivate, forget the widget templates that Adobe provides. There is next to NO documentation about how to use them. They assume you already know how to program in ActionScript 3 and that everything would be self-evident. But it never is.
Go to the Widget King's blog and start learning about how to program widgets using the WidgetFactory API.

Error when passing URL from OLAP Universe to WebI

Hi Experts,
I am getting 'The Supplier XML is not valid' WebI error when passing a URL from OLAP Universe.
URL example:
'<a href="http://www.sap.com">web link</a>'
I follow Universe Designer Guide:
- typing above URL into Dimension Select statement
- selecting Read As Hyperlink in Object Format.
When I drop this dimension into Result Objects panel in WebI Query and run refresh 'The Supplier XML is not valid' pops up.
What i am trying to achive is to create a pre-formatted as Hyperlink object (dimension) in WebI to make it available for a user to design ad-hoc reports.

Dreaded "Not a Valid Widget" Error

Hi Folks,
I'm getting the dreaded "Not a Valid Widget" error when I try to import my Flash (Professional CS5) file as a widget into my Captivate 5 project. I've done my research on this problem, and found an earlier post from Vikranth regarding copying the AS3\static actionscript into the first frame of the Flash file:

However, I'm not getting enough detail about exactly where to past this actionscript into Flash.
Is this truly the fix? Even for the latest software fully updated?. If this is still the fix, am I going to have to do this every time I construct a Flash widget?

I think you may misunderstand. Installing WidgetFactory or any other API on your PC is not an instant fix for some issue in your widget coding. I suggested that you go with an API because they are better documented than the Adobe templates and offer far more possibilities in the long run.
To get the most out of the APIs you need to read the tutorials and documentation provided by their creators. Only then will you understand the differences in the templates, which use a framescripting approach to coding, versus the APIs, which use a class-based coding approach. When using the APIs you do NOT use the Adobe templates at all to create widgets. You begin your widget directly in Flash.
Try these two tutorials first to get an idea of how it's done:

Flash and Captivate DO work together very well, but only if you know what you are doing. What's currently wrong with your picture is that you need to learn a lot more about how widgets work and how they need to be created. As your ActionScript 3 skills improve, so will your widgets.

6500 Classic - Unusual icon next to battery?

I've just got my new phone on T-Mobile. I can't remember if it's been there from the start but I have an arrow (like an upside down enter key on a keyboard) next to the battery. There don't seem to be any missed calls or messages in the outbox but I don't know why it's there. It's not detailed in the manual either. It's bugging me, how do I get rid of it?! Any help would be appreciated

I've read that this arrow icon is for call diverts. My gf has it on her new 6500 classic, also t-mobile. When I told her it was for diverts she wanted to switch them off just to get rid of the arrow, but I convinced her to leave them on for when the phone's busy or has no reception - just annoying that it has an icon associated with it (and it's undocumented)!

Dear All,
I am getting following error when opening the "General Supplier Data" from Pre-Select Supplier.
Error Message: "Error message: Error when applying a XSLT transformation: No valid XSLT program supplied"
I have already read the related threads on SDN and checked the SAP Note 883896 and others. Even tried running the program UXS_DEL_NAVIGATION_NODE and UXS_ADD_MISSING_XSLT_NAME. But not able to solve the issue.

We are getting the
ORA-01403: no data found error
when the APEX page has validations AND a tabular form is also present on the page.
I did see a couple of other forum links discussing the issue (bug id: 9879227 ?? ).
But what i want to get a confirmation on is, in which release was this bug really fixed ?
i see the release notes of 4.0.1.00.03 claiming that it is fixed
in the release.
we are on 4.0.1.00.03. is this bug really solved in release 4.0.1.00.03?
are there any known work-arounds ? i tried re-creating the report multiple times, but that did not help.
Any suggestions or work-arounds will greatly help us.

IPod classic 80gb mb1477ll unknown error 53/50 when trying to sync?

So I have a 80gb ipod mb1477ll, and when I try to sync I get a couple hundred songs done and I get a "song title" cannot be be transferred because of an unknown error 53 or sometimes 50. I also sometimes get a "users" ipod failed because disk is not available. After I exit those dialogs it just sits there forever and says finishing sync do not disconnect at the top of iTunes. My wife's ipod 120gb classic same gen, I think works just fine with the same USB port and cable. I've been seeing that I probably need a new HDD for the ipod? What do you guys think? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Validation Error when updating Feature work item to completed state?

We are on the latest version of TFS 2013 and have customized process templates based off of the Scrum template.
We have a custom workflow for the Feature work item type. I get an error when trying to update the state to custom done state of "Prod Deployment Successful". The error I receive is below:
TF237165: Team Foundation could not update the work item because of a validation error on the server etc etc.
I have TFS Admin rights as well as project and project collection Admin rights.

I have also updated the Process Configuration file to map the states to the meta states so I can show the custom states on the Feature board. The section in the process configuration file that relates to Feature is below:

The error ONLY happens when I try to update a Feature state to "Prod Deployment Successful". I have looked at other posts and searched the internet and have found no help for my exact issue in TFS 2013. For some

I finally figured out my issue and fixed it.
I had to update a reference name in the WIT xml file to Common.BusinessValue instead of Closed.

Schema validation error when validating dom tree in memory

Hello folks,
I have the following problem:
I construct a xml-file via the DOM API and before writing to file, I want to validate the DOM tree against a existing schema file.
But I always receive following error:
In line 0 of buffer:
LSX-00006: No default namespace for "conf_file"
Validation failed, error 6
Here's what the xml file looks like:

The curious thing about that is, when first writing the DOM tree to file via printStream() and then validating the written xml file againstr the schema everything works fine.

6500 Classic Bluetooth Problem - 'error copying fi...

Hi,
I seem to have hit a bit of a problem with my Nokia 6500c and have really been struggling to find a solution.
My desktop PC (Windows XP)has a USB Bluetooth Dongle which was initially used with Microsoft Drivers. Everything worked fine and I was able to transfer files both to and from the 6500c, however, the Microsoft Drivers seemed to only offer limited facilities.
I therefore installed the software / drivers provided with the dongle - Widcomm / Broadcom. Again everything appeared to work fine however, when I 'right click' any file on my PC and select 'send to bluetooth device - Nokia 6500' I receive a message 'error copying file'.
The devices have been succesfully paired and if I browse the phone's files and copy / paste or drag and drop the same file to no errors occur.
Everthing else on the bluetooth connection works without a problem.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply - the Microsoft drivers / software were fully unistalled before I installed the Widcomm / Broadcom software and drivers. When using the microsoft package the dongle shows as a bluetooth radio device, installs 'darfon' drivers for the bluetooth device and uses generic microsoft drivers for the bluetooth enumerator. The Widcomm / Broadcomm package recognises the dongle as simply a bluetooth device with all facilities operating under broadcom drivers.
I actually think the problem relates to the make of dongle and the 6500c not being fully compatable as I have now tried using the Widcomm software with other phones and a laptop all of which are fine. I have also tried using the phone with other PCs which are not using the microsoft package and all is fine.

Getting mandatory attribute validation error when the value is defaulted through customization

I am getting Mandatory attribute validation error when we default the value through customization.
In the UI we have attribute called Last Name which is mandatory at EO level. Customer wanted to default Last name to some value, through page composer it is defaulted to some text and saved.
When ever we open the page the the same value is defaulted as Last Name and appearing in the UI. But when we submit the page, EO level validation is failing. hence we are getting last name is missing.
When i debug the code last name attribute value for EO is blank.
In the UI the attribute last name is associated with bindings --> #{bindings.lastname.inputvalue}
The validation is failing if we remove the default binding associated with inputtext box.
Can some body help what can be reason and is there any solution?

I am struggling with same situation, I can't set the default value at business component because, the default value comes from a REST service at run time. In page A, I have a field F1 that contains value from REST service. Page B has a database bound field F2, whose default value should come from F1 in Page A when a user navigates from Page A to Page B. If I set the value of F2 to be the value of F1, then it displays the value in the UI, but nothing gets submitted to EO and fails at commit.
To make things difficult, here is my situation: Page A lives in bounded taskflow TF1, and Page B lives in bounded taskflow TF2. So I have created an input parameter P1 in TF 2, which carries over the value of F1 in Page A to Page B. When I am in Page B, I can successfully see the value of the taskflow input parameter P1. So, how do I programmatically set the value of field F2 with the value of input parameter P1?
I tried setting the F2.inputValue in a method call M1 in taskflow TF2 prior to Page B, but I get null pointer exception as it can't see field F2 yet.
It seems like a simple thing to do, but I have spent a lot of time trying to make it work without any success.
I would greatly appreciate any guidance.
