6520 all in one

This printer has been wonderful up untill this weekend. All of a sudden it does not want to print black.
I have taken the cartridges out
rebooted
reinstalled and reinstalled
bought brand new ones
Wasted all kinds of paper
evaluated the vents
I am sick of this and have wasted hours
I can not find how to dismantle this thing to sink it in hot water
I give up

I have the same problem
one week the printier is working fine even with low ink. I replace the ink and the black does not work. I have even replaced the new ink cartridges with new ink cartridges. I have aligned and realigned the cartridges. I have cleaned the print heads several times going through the second cleaning. All to no avail.
Since my printer is out of warrenty fo just over a year I have tried some other methods that were on Youtube. Still to no avail.
Please advise.

As I said above: the troubleshooting steps in the post here may help resolve black not printing on your HP 6520 printer. If the steps there do not resolve the issue I suggest you contact HP, even if your printer is out of warranty. If you have done drastic measures such as removing the printhead or other physical changes to the printer they will likely not be able to help.

My HP Photosmart 6520 all in one printer will not print anything in black and it has a brand new cartrige in it. I have tried restarting the printer, and the computer and it is not helping. Please help.

If you are still having difficulty, please call Phone support regardless of your printers warranty status. The number to call HP is 1-800-474-6836 for Canada and US, or you can Contact HP Worldwide.

Photosmart 6520 all in one.does not pick up small photo paper

New printer,it will print on a4 paper,but will not pick up small6x4,I have taken all other paper out,and tried shutting off and restarting it,I even cleaned the rollers as suggested,still no result,I have only had this three weeks,it did print one picture off when I first tried it,but not now,would be very happy if someone could resolve this for me.

I am sorry to read about the issue you are having with your new Photosmart 6520 not picking up 4x6 paper. I understand you have cleaned the rollers and that did not resolve the problem. I have researched this and have found a couple of documents that I recommend you look at to ensure all of the print settings are correct when printing on a 4x6 or any other size you wish to print on.
I am unsure if you have a Windows or a Mac computer, therefore I will post 2 different links for you to look at depending on which operating system you have.

Unable To Print Over Ethernet Network on HP 6520 all in one

All computers are on windows 8.1. My question or issue is this: Prior to purchasing a Mediabridge wireless router, wireless-n broadband 300 mps router, I had a Zyxtel wireless access point router. I am both Ethernet and wireless. Prior to the Mediabridge I would network print to my HP printer both wireless (iPhone) and over an Ethernet network (PC's and Laptop).
There is an improvement in printing wirelessly on an iPhone. I cannot print over my Ethernet network any longer. I have to unplug my laptop prior to printing before my laptop can see the printer online. With my second PC in another room I am unable to print over the Ethernet network. The printers are installed, drivers and such, but as with the laptop, I would have to unplug the Ethernet cord to print.
My error messages are showing as cannot find printer or or my control panel printer devices show as offline. If I unplug my laptop I can see the printers online. However I don't want to have to take disconnect a second PC in another room to print.
Can you offer any suggestions. Do I need to plug my printer directly into the Mediabridge wireless router?

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read your thread on your HP Photosmart 6520 Printer and getting the error and not printing. Here is a link to the HP Print and Scan Doctor. The HP Print and Scan Doctor will run a check on your system and connect the printer to same network as the computer. You do have to be connected to the same wireless as the printer to print to it. Unless you are using Eprint. If this does not help you contact Mediabridge.

HP 6520 all in one won't print

I changed my ISP provider. I changed printer settings and it's printed a couple of times. Now it won't. Print setting on computer, a Mac, says connected to printer. But it never prints. I did scan something tonemailmand that worked fine so I don't think it is the wireless setbup.

I totally understand your frustration of not being able to print to wirelessly to your PS 6520. Please take a look at this document and follow the steps listed below whichever MAC OS X you are currently running: No response from printer.

Blank pages with HP 6520 all in one

I am having printing issues. Just bought brand new genuine HP cartridge in black (XL) and pages are coming out lined or blank. Every time I recalibrate and follow the menu prompts it prints a little better but not neccessarily complete. I've had this printer for a little over a year now. PLEASE HELP!

How to turn on printables with eprint on Photosmart 6520 all in one?

I just got a new printer I'm trying to set up and I keep getting nowhere fast! It says it's online and enabled but it won't print! I got a message to turn on printables but have no idea what that is or how to turn it on??? Please help????

Hi jamieleesummers. Printables are content that you can access from the front of your printer's display screen. One example; my daughters have the Disney app installed and they can go to the front of my printer and pick a coloring page, or craft without using my computer.

HP 6520 All in One Printer will not print anything

Nothing will print on plain paper. The cartridges are wet and show color when I remove them from the printer.
Is my printer set up wrong?? I just put in a black ink cartridge a week ago and have not used it much.

6520 All in one printer

I keep getting an error message on my pc that says "HPNetworkCommunicator has encountered a problem and needs to close." What's that?
I use Windows xp...the printer is set up on the usb wire and is not to communicate wirelessly.
Any ideas as to how to clean this up?

I noticed your post about the message you are seeing that states "HP Network Communicator has encountered a problem and needs to close."
I would suggest following this document to help fix the message:

Please run the HP Print and Scan Doctor afterwards if you are still having the issue. Please let me know if the tool alerts you to any errors and include what they are (or a screen shot).

Envy 23 all in one Win 8.1 bluetooth doesn't receive photo from phone

Trying to upload a jpg file from my phone to my windows 8.1 Envy 23 All in One via bluetooth. The PC and phone pair up ok and phone shows it is sending. When the phone starts sending, the PC's bluetooth device status changes from not connected to connected. After about a minute, the phone says the transfer failed and the PC status goes back to not connected. The phones error message says request could not be handled correctly. Also, the bluetooth icon window doesn't ever include selections to receive file or send file. HP Support connected remotely, reinstalled the bluetooth driver, deleted the device, paired up again, but no change with the transfer. HP concluded it is a hardware problem and says to send the PC in for repair. (Still under warranty.) Doesn't sound like hardware to me, and I don't want to be without my PC and possibly have to reinstall all programs and data when it returned. Thinking of getting a cable to connect directly to the PC. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Open up Bluetooth settings ---> Share and make sure that box to Allow remote devices to browse, send and receive pictures, music and other files is checked. The click on Open Bluetooth Exchange Folder -->right mouse click for properties, Share and the review your exchange settings.
Check the Permissions on the above image so that your know for sure what you are allowing for transfer types etc..
It is possible that the WIFI adapter is failing during a transfer process if the software is properly setup.
Be patient and Bluetooth transfers can be slow.
You should get a notification on the PC that the file was successfully received. Additionally, your phone should be indicating an up transfer.

pposed to be the top tech still am unable to use my printer to m y hp6520 all in one photosmart printer to either send nor recieve my e-mail no matter what I do it still does not work and the local office depot refuses to help me out I purchadsed this printer from the store located here in Orlando florida craig is the supposed to be the head tech. at this store but they had turned his back on my wife and I like my self have purchased many items from this store of which we believed in his honesty but no more so we all agree that we need to change to staples we have contacted them and they are very much in in our business not like office depot which their number is [mod edited on 8-12-14]
and they are only a couple of blocks away staples the manager was surprised at the way we have been treated by office depot here in Orlando we like and appericsate hp equipment printers and
computers and all.

What is the issue you are experiencing?
How is the printer connected (USB cable, or wireless)?
What operating system are you using on your computer? whatsmyos.com
Are you getting any error messages? If yes, what does the error message say and where is it displayed (computer or printer)?
Do you have any Firewall or Anti-virus software installed on your computer?
Is the printer plugged into a wall outlet?
Are you able to make a copy using the front panel of the printer?

I have photos I want to group together in one album, but can't do this because some may have the same number. How can I combine them all into one album? I was trying to move several albums onto a USB drive and it stated all other files exist at this location. They are pictures taken at different times and have the same number I guess.

In iPhoto albums may contain photos with the same file name - iPhoto handles that just fine
If you are exporting them to move somewhere else use the sequential file name feature of export to give each file a unique name
