6630 wont connect to internet for my tomtom one

any suggestions please as to why my 6630 wont connect to the internet for my tomtom one satnav, the bluetooth connection is ok but the tomtom error message says there is no wireless internet connection available, my network provider is 3G and my phone connects to the internet itself ok

That's probably because '3' (Hutchison) operates in a so called "walled garden" mode/model, where they only allow access to their own services, or very select sites/services on the Internet.
So, ask '3' to open up their network, or change to a different operator are your options, more or less.

    Hi,
Which version of Premiere Pro won't open? Do you see the splash screen? Which OS is installed on your computer? Have you tried to turn off your firewall? Sometimes that can cause this issue.

  • Wont connect to internet over VZW network

Ok so I just got my HTC Thunderbolt yesterday and it wont connect to the internet over the Verizon network. It works just fine when it is connected to wifi. I have tried turning the mobile network on and off and everything but it still wont.
BTW I can still call and text but everything that requires the internet does not work.

I live on the Fringe of 4G network.  My Brother in law had this problem, and hit battery life was subpar.
    This fixed it for him
    Factory Reset his phone
He used the dialer and put in *#*#INFO#*#*
Changed the CDMA+LTE to CDMA Only (PRL)
Then his did his setup as usual, and so far he hasn't had any problems since.  If you want to try that and see what happens by all means try it, but don't get mad at me if it doesn't work

  • HT4623 my i pad wont connect to internet

my first gen i pad has suddenly stopped connecting to internet. nothing has changed with service but did add extender . ipad is still in vincenity of orig wifi modem. has anyone experienced this

    Some things to try first:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
        •    Launch Settings app
        •    Tap on Wi-Fi
        •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

  • Blackbook wont connect to internet zomg?!

Hihi everyone. Just a little background info on my macbooks, this is my third one. Having alot of trouble with customer service where I live, plus I made the terrible mistake of buying a mac from a "authorized dealer" instead of at the apple store, just a few miles away.
Either way I'm on my third macbook, a fancy shiny black one.
Been working well for a week or so but my It wont connect to the internet anymore?
Also to clear up some suggestions, I've reset my router.
I've also switched out cords, and even tried another cord where my parents Mac is hooked up to.
It was working fine for a week or so on the internet but one day it randomly wont connect. I'm gonna try the wireless at my school tomorrow to see if that works but any suggestions?
I mean I may be crazy here but I'm thinking something with the internet connector internally theres something misplaced?

Ethernet. It worked before, and I'm using the same cord as I use for my pc. But one day it just stopped connecting to the internet.

  • WRT300N wont connect to internet

hay guys i recently received a WRT300N v1. and for some reason it wont connect to the internet on my network. i know my network is fine if i use another router it works. but if i replace my working dlink router with this WRT300N router and connect all the computers to it (regardless weather its lan or wan)the computers don't receive a connection to the internet. anybody got any ideas why this is? by the way the router was reset to factory settings so there should be no settings that are conflicting.

1)connect the computer to the router's port # 1 and the modem to the router's internet port
2)access the router using http://192.168.1.1 . the default ip add is admin
3)on the ui , click on the "mac add clone" subtab , enable it and click clone
4)save the settings and do a power cycle
5)go to the "status" tab and check the internet ip add
6)if there is a valid one , try going online ...

  • New Macbook Pro Wont Connect to Internet

I just got a Macbook Pro today and it wont connect to the my wireless connection. The only thing I can think of is when I was in the start up it ask what I connected to the internet with and because I was not within my own network I press "This computer does not connect to the internet" option. How do I change this?

I'm using a Linksys WRT54G and ran into these exact symptoms today. After downloading all available updates, dwiddling with a bunch of stuff I didn't really understand (but that's never stopped a hacker like me), getting frustrated in trying to figure out how to either make a reservation with a local Mac Store Genius or talk to a real person at Apple Support I tried unplugging my wireless router and resetting it. My computer came up and is now working fine... go figure.
I've got to admit that I was ready to panic after looking at the discussion board. I'm an old PC person and now consider myself a "convert" to Macs. Glad it didn't let me down.

  • ITunes store wont connect to internet! Checked Everywhere! No Solution!

Basically, thats my problem. CANT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET! I tried everything. the flush dns thing and pop-up thing. I hev norton and the setting are fixed so it allows itunes. firewall if turned off. anything else i need to try? i really need this. i just bought a new ipod nano and i want to download songs. i can connect to internet fine and everything. I hev a dell inspiron E1505 laptop and internet is wireless. yes, i tried w/o wireless too. no use. HELP! i hev itunes 8.02 or something. the latest one.

Chyna26 , one thing that has helped a lot of folks using Norton is to take itunes out of the list of allowed programs. Save those Norton settings.
Then go back in and re-add itunes and itunes helper.
For some reason, Norton has been showing itunes as allowed, but it really isn't. So removing it and adding it back fixes the problem.
If that doesn't help, try posting your network diagnostics from itunes help.

I connect my ipod mini to the computer and I try to erase/restore it but i can't because as soon as the ipod comes up in my computer, the ipod restarts, breaking the connection, so i cannot reformat it.

  • Computer wont connect to internet

I have a powerbook g4 titanium with mac os 10.4.11. Using Airport to connect to internet.
The computer won't connect to any webpages or software update. Other network access seems fine. I did a archive and install and it seem to work until I updated quicktime or to 10.4.11. Not sure if either was the issue.
I have booted into safe mode verified the disk and repaired permissions. I have also erased and created new locations.
On every webpage I get: "Request Timeout the server timed out while waiting for the browser's request".

    Well, one more thought...
    Go to System Preferences
    Click Network
    Highlight AirPort and click Configure...
Choose “By default, join: Preferred networks”
Select your access point and Remove your access point with the minus button.
Launch your keychain access in Utilities and delete your access point keychain entry.
    Reboot
Go back to the “By default, join:” page and click the plus this time to add your access point. Enter the correct password, save, reboot.
