I tryed to restart adpatch.sh and continue the patch --- it helps me one time in the past 3days---i got this:

the messages above are copy from end of adpatch.log which is 10M size---there are over 17000 files in the document of "log" now.
i search the BAIDU,it seems that i can fix it by adadmin.sh?is that ture?i don't feel it right....
OR
can some guaide me get it through these error?some tips on metal-link will be fine too,i get an id from my friend.

I restart the vm-machine and then disable maintain model,the start the DB and APP.
I can choose chinese to login and i did it.
maybe the i need "Translation Synchronization Patches " .The left part is english and the right part is chinese.
i believe that there must had some forms bad,it just not read now.

i still believe that my ebs is r12.1.1 and the patch 4440000.DRV make some part of my ebs back to 12.0.0.
should i apply the new patch--6678700.drv to make it update to 12.1.1?

Plsql_code_type

Hi,
I am upgrading oracle applications from 11.5.10.2 (10.2.0.5) to R12.1.1 on linux 32 Bit
Now i am applying 6678700.drv from $AU_TOP.
In the Upgrade guide chapter 3, Point 4 it says upgrade init.ora with upgrade parameters.
As i am on 11.5.10.2 with 10.2.0.5 db, before going to R12.1.1. Should i set plsql_code_type = native (Currently it is interpreted).
I have already run bde_cbo_chk.sql it says recommeded is INTERPRETED,But this is checking against 11.5.10.2.
So what should be plsql_code_type set???
(In my last project i have set it to native and no issues, just want to know what should i set).
(I thinks i have asked this question before also, but now when i search it is not showing in search results.)

XDOLOADER

Hi,
While upgrading oracle applications from 11.5.10.2 to R12.1.1. During applying patch 6678700.drv from $AU_TOP/patch/115/driver, all the jobs with XDOLOADER are taking long time to complete.
So followed the note
12.1.1 UPGRADE FROM 11.5.10.2 VERY SLOW XDOLOADER TASK HANGS [ID 1065393.1]
But after doing this workaround, all the jobs hanged. When i check the adworker logs, it was crashing java with out of system resources.
So i had to restore bcakup and do it from scratch. Now i am applying 6678700.drv patch, should i do that workaround or leave it the same.

R12 upgrade , after 6678700, started services, listener.ora file missing

1)- Upgrading to r12 from 10.5.10.2
2)- 6678700 completed (so far just for US, not NLS).
3)-Just for testing purpose , when started services, got following errors related to listener.ora.

R12.1.1 Upgrade - patch 6678700 - American English upgrade patch driver

Hi All,
I am doing an upgrade from 11.5.10.2 to R12.1.1. I am executing the patch 6678700. I have given 25 workers to execute this patch. The patch is running for almost 1 hour and now I find only 1 worker is running and all the other workers are waiting.
I do not find any error, the files are getting allocated only to Worker 1 and getting completed and another file is loaded again on Worker 1 and so on.
The remaining 24 workers are waiting. The adctrl output is follows

Is this behavior normal during this patch ? Only 1st worker is used so only 1 file is processed at a time. All the other workers are waiting.

Thanks for the response.
I do not find any error the database log or the worker 1 log. I had the doubt because instead of using all 25 processes, the adpatch is using only 1 worker to execute this patch and I have almost 117273 remaining and the count is getting reduced 1 by 1 because of 1 worker.
Is there any way that we can make other workers which are waiting ?

Let me walk you through briefly regarding the upgrade process:
Initially the existing instance was 11.5.10.2 with 9.2.0.6 database.Last year the database was upgraded to 11.2.0.1 and configured with 11.5.10.2
However the 11g database upgrade steps specifically for EBS 11i(interoperatibility notes for 11i with 11g database) was not followed properly.
And one of the major key issue identified was the 11g Example CD was not installed on top of 11g software during database upgrade.Which is the pre-req for 11g upgrade in EBS
And as per my experience it creates issues during R12 upgrade (patch u6678700) and giving errors pertaining to oracle text error.
SR was raised for the same and was suggested, since there is no other option kindly install the Oracle 11g software and on top of that 11g Example CD and map the 11g database and go ahead with the R12 upgrade.
Now coming back to the core issue being faced, Pre-req followed properly.No errors in alert logs.
Can missing the Example CD installtion be the issue?

I have checked that note already, but i cannot Execute the script $ORACLE_HOME/appsutil/clone/adlnkoh.sh to relink the RDBMS executables as mentioned in step 4 of that note because the adlnkoh.sh is not present in *$ORACLE_HOME/appsutil/clone/* location in my instance.
Kindly provide anotehr solution as imwaiitng for this

Error "RC-50013" in ApplyAppsTechStack for Step 3 of 5 (53% and 92%) R12 installation

I've tried to install R12 on Windows Server 2003 32-bit as well as 2008 64-bit.
Both instances generated seemed to hang at Step 3 of 5: 53% total and 92% (Registering Tech Stack)
I'm using Cygwin and Visual Studio 8 that were configured based on this guide: http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/84997033/eBusiness%20Suite%20Installation%20Guide.pdf
The OUI states that ompn has been started and no other actions are displayed.
The command: ps -ef | grep opmn returned nothing which tells me there were no processes running in regards to opmn.

As per readme for Patch 9179588, I am trying to merge patch (9179588:R12.AD.B) with 9477107:R12.AD.B and R12.AD.B.1
(patch 7461070). When I run admrgpch without -admode option, admrgpch completes successfully.

Actually, I tried that one as well by running admrgpch from newly installed R12 code tree and I got below error.

11i to R12 upgrade

Hi,
I am doing test upgrade 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.1
I am following R12 upgrade guide and 1211 install guide. I finished rapid install step "Creating the Upgrade File System". Now my next step is to perform upgrade (apply upgrade drivers).
It is not clear in the documents and patch readme if I need to apply patches to 11i APPL_TOP or newly created R12 file system. Can somebody help me?

Which document says I need to apply only database driver? So far I have reviewed upgrade guide Part No. E14010-01.In the Same upgrade guide part NO:E14010-01 check the page no:73 it given as follows:
Under Section 3 "Upgrading to Release 12.1.1"
10. Run the American English upgrade patch driver (required)
Applies to 11i release level: All

To bring your database to the full Oracle Applications Release 12.1.1 level, use AutoPatch to run the (American English) unified driver (u6678700.drv). It is located in $AU_TOP/patch/115/driver.
Run the driver on the administration server node on your Release 12.1.1 APPL_TOP
using the following commands:
$ adpatch options=nocopyportion,nogenerateportion
Do I need to start database in new R12 file system.Yes. All the steps mentioned under Section 3.9 onwards need to perform in the new 12.1 Oracle _home

Error RW:50004 during install of R12 on win 2003

I'm trying to install EBS R12 Express install with Vision DB via edelivery.
Had some issues with MSVC and cygwin paths, but it was resolved thanks to posts on the forum.
After about 20% of the installation [about 1hr 30mins into it], I get the following error:
RW-50004: Error code received when running external process. See log file for details.

I reinstalled MS VC++ again, couldn't delete those LEGACY_* registry entries though.
I thought I'd try install again before re-installing the OS. Here are the results:
I got the same error code again on the RapidInstall applet: RW-50004.
Looks like some sort of service isn't getting started or created.
However, looking at the J:\oracle\VIS\db\tech_st\10.2.0\appsutil\log\VIS_ora-apps\ApplyDBStack_XXX.log file it says:

I tried pinging my oracle machine ora-apps locally and it works, i.e. if I do ping ora-apps I get a response. I also tried pinging using the dns suffix that I setup based on your instructions and I get a response as well.
Also, I when I try pinging the ora-apps machine from another one on the network using ping ora-apps, I also get the same result.
However, if I use the entire domain name, i.e. ora-apps.spectrum-tech.com, I get a response from some server on Yahoo hosting, our ISP!!!! is that a problem?

R12 installation giving me error [while loading shared libraries: librt.so]

Hello ..
I am installing Fresh R12 installation on Fedora. I was doing Single node installation. Installation was going fine but at the point when it said run "autoconfig.sh" for APPS_TIER. I went to $INST_TOP/admin/scripts and ran "autoconfig.sh". After that installer showed me all the errors and when i try to see the log file.
I am getting following errors.
[oracle@aurie / ]$ ls
ls: error while loading shared libraries: librt.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[oracle@aurie / ]$ su - root
su: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypt.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Now, I cant do anything on this machine, I try rebooting it but no matter what command i try to run i am getting above error.
Cant find any solution online.
any help would be appreciated.

Now, I am again hitting the same issue .. whatever I try to do after this fail installation i am getting following
*[oracle@aurie 11.1.0]$ ls*
ls: error while loading shared libraries: librt.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
*[oracle@aurie 11.1.0]$ cat /etc/issue*
cat: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
*[oracle@aurie 11.1.0]$ cd /*
*[oracle@aurie /]$ ls*
ls: error while loading shared libraries: librt.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
