I cant seem to be able to get all 7 speakers to work. When I use the Creative Audio Console to set speakers to 7. and try to here the outputs, it only coms out of 5 speakers. Is there a decoder im meant to use or a setting i have to change somewhere.

Hi, digital coax cable and SPDIF/Toslink cables support Dolby Digital/DTS 5. max or LPCM stereo. You need to use four analog 3.5mm cables from the sound card or an HDMI cable for 7. audio.

I have an Creative Cloud accound but photoshop keeps gooing back to the trail mode. in cc apps there is no deactivate option. that's been changed to a 'sign out' option.

HDMI output not working since firmware upgrade

I would appreciate troubleshooting tips for getting the HDMI output to work. I just tried it recently for the first time in a long while, approximately 4 weeks after doing the firmware update to 2.2. When I did it before, plugging in the HDMI cable would automatically start output to my HD TV. Now that is no longer the case. Changing the HDMI output from "Auto" to "720p" does not make a difference either.
Otherwise, everything works well and I've been satisfied with my Creative 7 to date. I have installed several apps so it could be that there is a conflict and nothing related to the firmware upgrade.
Any troubleshooting suggestions would be appreciated.

Well I've received my refurbished device for about a week now. The HDMI still doesn't work either with Zii Video or a 3rd party app MoboPlayer. ?I am tempted to reinstall the firmware upgrade again. Is it ok to try this or is it only a one time attempt?
Perhaps this should be a separate thread but are any of the "Phone 2 SD" apps compatible with the Ziio 7? Whenever I use the "Move to SD card" option, there is still no program moved to the external SD card. ?I have a Ziio 7 with 6 GB of memory as well as a 6GB micro SD card. ?My memory settings are:
- SD Card: total space - 5.43GB; Available space - 5.43GB
- Device media storage: Total space - 2.48GB; Available Space - 2.3 GB
- System storage: Total Space - .97 GB; Available space - .59GB
In Settings>Applications>Manage Applications, the "On SD Card" tab lists several programs lists several apps but none of them are actually on the external SD card.

HDMI output not working with AT200 under ICS

The HDMI output of my tablet AT200 doesn't work with any TV set.
My AT 200 tablet is under ICS.
I tried both HDMI configurations : full screen and video window. No effect at all.
I have red the post of denis48 and the response of MasterG and tried his propositions with no success

If it does not work, reset the tablet settings and try again

I connected the HDMI output to a Sony KDL 32 E 5500. It simply does not work.
The same TV HDMI input works fine with a DVD player.
The AT 200 tablet is under ICS (upgrade in France).
I tried both HDMI configurations : full screen and video window.
Should I send it back for repair ?

There are two outputs: Mirror and video area only.
Mirror:
External device copies the image on the tablet screen
Video area only:
The external display device shows the playback when open a multimedia
But You should firstly check the Android Settings:
Under the option Screen you will find the option HDMIO video mode
Tap this to switch between the HDMI video output mode.
You could also try to connect the HDMI device under following conditions:
- Tablet is turned on
- Tablet is completely turned off
- when you connect TV or external monitor to HDMI port, then display output is set to HDMI
- when you plug and replug the cable, wait at least 5 sec before you replug the HDMI cable.

Worked for me after 3 months of trying anyway!

When you press FN+F5 key combination while notebook is not connected with HDMI cable, you will see one option (LCD) only. When you connect HDMI cable can you see other additional options like LCD, LCD+HDMI, HDMI and so on?
Please be also sure that right HDMI port on your TV is enabled.

HDMI output not working on my Satellite L500

The HDMI output on my Satellite L500 seems to have stopped working in the past few months.
I've tried different cables but it is still not working.
Any ideas?

T410 with integrated graphics - DVI output not working on Mini Dock 3 (4337)

I tried connecting my external monitor to the DVI output of the Mini Dock and it did not work. I have since connected it with no issus to the VGA output.
However, I want to use the digital (DVI) connection for my monitor........how can i fix this issue?
NOTE: I have a T410 with the integrated graphics so my laptop screen does not display while docked (I keep the lid closed).

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with no Display when connected to docking station on your ThinkPad T410.
Have you checked updating the Intel graphic driver from Lenovo support site?
Please provide the current Graphic driver version showing in device manager.
Is the system having Windows 7 or Windows 8 OS?

Headphone output not working on Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro

I've installed the (only available) beta driver for Vista under Vista RTM, but can't get the headphone output to work at all...
Sound keeps playing through the line out, but no matter what i do i can't get it routed through the headphone output. Is it a known issue or is there a solution?
(Oh, and for all the forum nazis - i DID try searching for a solution before posting and haven't found a single shred of useful information)

my equipment is:
Sound Drivers 2.2.000 (BETA) latest from creative.
Windows Vista Home Premium.
SoundBlaster Audigy / Platnum.
Sound system are Cambridge Soundworks with Sub 5..
Im trying my TECHNIKA TA-05 headphones i brought from tesco's rofl, and when i plug them into my jack BOOM, no sound, unplug and tada sound.
If anyone has a solution that would be great!!!.

Satellite Pro U200: VGA output not working properly when AC adapter was connected

I have a problem with vga output. When I'm working on battery and connect my notebook to external monitor it's ok, but when I connect AC adaptor then start waving also bluetooth and wlan does not work properly. In other case when I remove battery from notebook and connect AC adaptor it works properly.

As long as you use a CRT you should set the refresh rate new, at least 85Hz. Standard is 60Hz as far as I know, and that hurts in your eyes.
The wireless lan behaviour is quite normal as long as your not right next to the access point. On battery power the wireless lan card reduces its energy consumption thus the connection will be poor if you dont have a perfect signal. You can turn this off in the iNTEL Pro/SET wireless software, where you can configure the adaptor. Try to change the powersafe mode to manual and full power, this should solve your problem.

Audio output not working

The audio jack in the back of my iMac is not working. This has happened off and on before but it seems to have totally failed now. There is supposed to be a red light visible inside the jack. I believe the digital output is sharing this jack, there is no red light working now also. I am using a USB to M-Audio box to send my sound to my speakers right nw. I am wondering if anyone has has this problem and got it repaired?

Is your iMac still under warranty? Also, before you take it in for repair, have you tried using Apple-made headphones (like the white ear buds) to test your audio jack?
Also, have you tried using another device to plug into the USB slot you are currently trying to use? To see if it works?
I had a similar problem last year, when I purchased an iMac in Feb 2011. After a few months of usage, there was no audio coming through the headphones I plugged into the audio jack, AND I was having issues with USB devices not being recognized when I plugged it into a certain slot.
After numerous FRUSTRATING visits to the Genius bar where the motherboard and audio cable was completely (and needlessly) replaced, it was finally deternined the actual port with the audio and USB ports was misaligned within the iMac metal shell. So after being initially told that I couldn't get a replacement, they gave me a brand new iMac as it was a physical defect that couldn't be fixed.
Since getting the new replacement, I'm now having minor (and strange) issues with audio again. I suspect it's a common and fundamental flaw with the recent iMacs that Apple seriously needs to address.
Good luck with this - taking in an iMac is terribly stressful. Feel free to mention the possible flaw with the misaligned port - hopefully this will save you the trouble of making numerous trips.

Satellite C855D-S5237 Laptop HDMI Output Not Working

Hi, I have a Toshiba Satellite C855D-S5237 Laptop and the HDMI Output is no longer working on my Toshiba TV. The TV does not recognize that anything is connected and the laptop doesn't recognize the TV as a display option. I have used this laptop many times in the past to connect to my TV with an HDMI cable and it worked fine. It has been a few months since I tried it but it is no longer working. Any ideas as to what could be the problem? Thanks

S-video output not working for Satellite A60

The s-video output on my laptop is not working. i have tried the Fn-F5 hotkey, but i don't get a damn output on the tv.

First:
Has it ever worked before?
Yes? then make sure that you don't have a second desktop activated. Go into the displaysettings and rightclick the second screen. Make sure it is not set to "attached".
If your machine also have a composite out, try using that instead.
Does it work?
If yes, your machine is at least software-wise able to output the picture to the TV.
If no, then there is probably something in the software that stops the picture from going out to TV.
It could of course also be a hardware related problem but it is less prabable that both the s-video and the composite-ports are defective.
Try checking the settings for your videodriver.
No?
If an s-video cable was delivered with your computer, make sure to use that one.
Check the s-video cable with a traditional DVD. This way see if the cable and in-port on your TV is ok.
If you are using the cable that came with your PC then you should defenitely check for settings in the videodriver.
If it is not the cable that came with your PC (or no cable was delivered with your PC) try check the manual for hints on a compatible cable.
Sorry for the quite messy respons - it is not easy to write a think-flowchart here.

2.1 RC1 Dbms Output not working

I don't know if this is new, or an existing bug from the EA releases (saw a couple threads in regards to dbms_output). I don't seem to be catching any results in the Dbms Output window. Even for something as simple as this run as a statement or script:

/I tried it by opening dbms_output before opening the worksheet, opening it after opening the worksheet, opening a new worksheet after both of the above, and an unshared work sheet.

I noticed this not working for any 9.2 Db. We have internal dev dbs on that release.
However this works on 10g. I would appreciate a fix ASAP.

Built-in Output not working

My built-in output is not working. It does, however, detect that I have headphones plugged in, but no sound comes out of any pair of headphones I have tried. I have already gone through my prefs, I believe it is a hardware problem. Could someone help me with any ideas on how to fix that?

Hey Sig, Thanks for your response. Its grayed probably because I have My audio interface selected. But when I switch back to built in output. And try to play I-Tunes for example it dose not play unless I use the mouse to move the volume control on the little speaker up top and even then it sputters. If I take my finger off the mouse I get nothing. The built in output is feeding a 5.1 logic tech surround sound setup which has been hooked up since day one with no problems. I was laying down tracks in logic 9 A recording program. And when I was done thats when I saw the speaker icon. Thanks Bill
