7/3/13 Cloud will not update, says no internet connection?

I'm online (obviously) but I just keep getting a pop-up that says Please connect to the internet & try again.
I AM CONNECTED. I run my programs every day, I have an annual subscription, and I just want to update.
Grrr.
Help?

This happens when you system is not able to connect to the activation server. There could be few reasons for this like firewall is not letting this connection to establish or sometimes the Adobe entries in the hosts file.
You can check the hosts file and delete all the Adobe entries from it.
Location of the hosts file
Windows ;-- C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
Mac :-- Open finder window -- click on go -->go to folder---> /etc---> press enter
Open the hosts file using notepad (windows) textedit (mac)

There is no Lightroom CC. You get the latest version (currently 5.4) with Creative Cloud, and so the CC app is correct in stating that your LR is up to date. Unlike Photoshop and most of the other Creative Cloud applications, Lightroom is not branded as "CC" because it's also available separately as a stand-alone perpetual licence product. When 5.5 (or 6.0 - or even a CC-only version) are released in the future, the CC app should prompt you to update and so in the meantime you're good to go.

Not sure. I am not having any problems opening files in current version 8.0 except for files that have been created/modified in current version 8.2 of course. That is why I need to update.
I've tried uninstalling 8.0 version before updating and a direct download of installer/updater of 8.2... still no luck.

I need the updates because I just purchased a Nikon D60 and my Photoshop does not read the .NEF files produced by the camera.

Do you really mean the Nikon D60 which shipped in 2008? Was it purchased secondhand?
The Nikon D60 was first supported in Adobe Camera Raw 4.4.
Photoshop CS4 ships with Camera Raw 5.0 so it can read D60 NEF files out of the box. No updates required.
If you do mean the D60 then something else must be going on. e.g. are you using Nikon software to transfer files from camera to computer?

HT202157 My Apple TV will not update and it is connected via ether not wireless

I have an earlier version Apple TV and I have tried to update it several times using several methods. I am connected to the internet via ether and not wireless and teh signal is good. I can stream without any issues ever. the update is downloaded fine but not installed. I get a failure to update message. I have tried to updat normally, restore, reset, etc...... I have no more ideas.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
    1.    Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
    2.    Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
    3.    Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
    4.    Open iTunes.
    5.    Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

Cisco Anyconnect Client WIll Not Uninstall - Keeps Interrupting Internet Connection

Nothing in there that really helps my situation. I have Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client installed from work on my WIndows 8 machine and it will not fully uninstall, repair doesn't work either. It also randomly (yes randomly) and at boot time (always) makes me at least click on it and "connect" even though the gateway no longer exists,.. After I try to connect to he embedded/saved profile and it fails, I can then ping things and use my browser etc. I don't want to play with the registry unless someone can tell me EXACTLY what I need to remove. Please, no vague answers, and don't point me to the Cisco page for uninstalling Anyconnect/Anyconnect help - I have done the research already.

Hi, same issue here. Using AnyConnect 3.1.05187 (tunnel 0.0.0.0, local lan access enabled). Still same symptoms, if trying to answer via Mac, VPN reconnects and call hangs. Works fine without VPN.

I tried to update CS6 and it crashed the computer.(Win 7- 64bit) After a System Restore, I still had to reinstall CS6. It works fine now, but refuses to do any updates. Lloydkmaui you are correct Error 204 indicates a file permission error. You may want to try creating a new administrator account to see if you face the same error. You can find more details at Install or run Adobe applications in new user account | Mac OS X.

Having trouble upgrading to OS 3.* It will not download even though internet connection is good and iPod is connected to the P/C . It's a touch first generation which has basically never been set up or used.

The header pretty much says it all. I've restarted iTunes, and also the computer. It almost immediately gives me an error message that it can't download due to an unknown error.

- If you are getting the 8288 error, use the communities search box in the upper right and search for 8288. That has beeb a recent problem with the 3.1.3 update.
- If you can't get to the dright download page, try a different browser like FireFox

I have quite literally tried everything. My ipod touch just will not update.
My internet connection is more than fine, my ipod functions as it should, and I can connect to the itunes store.
It will not, however, connect to the update server.
I have spent around 2 hours tonight troubleshooting and i still have nothing.

I am running a Windows 7 64-bit machine with the latest updates and Adobe Cloud will not update the Illustrator 32-bit CC version to the 17.0.1 update even though I am logged in to the creative cloud. The 64-bit of Illustrator CC update just fine.
I've searched and done a couple of the items found in the forum to no avail. Including deleting the AAMUpdate/1.0 files in C:\Users\usrname\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0 folder. I continue to receive the error message saying "Update Failed. The download appears corrupted. Please try again after a few minutes.(U43M1D304).
I have even attempted the update after disabling my AV software.
Any other ideas?

Just installed Photoshop CC and it will not update

Just installed CC on a new machine and it will not update, says failed with a 49 at the end of the message, tried restarting and that did not help. Did get lightroom to install and update without any problems.
