70-410 Prep Materials and Tips

Anyone have any suggestions for study material on 70-410? All the books on Amazon that I've come across all have low reviews and I'd rather not waste time and money on material that's filled with incorrect information which is what a lot of those reviews
are saying about those books on amazon.

Hey guys thanks for responding, sadly though both of those suggestions were two of the three books that I was saying had bad reviews. These reviews are from Amazon so if that's were you got your books and happy with them you guys should go on there and
post reviews talking about how awesome the books are. From what the reviews say those books have a lack of exercises (labs) as well as not enough information. It's suggested that other material like CBT Nuggs or a Q and A book would be needed in addition to
those books. Personally I've obtained my current MCSE and other certs without using Q and A tools and by getting either the Microsoft Press or Sybex books along with a copy of the OS(s) needed in order to follow all the labs then run through those labs and
any others I could come up with until I'm sick of them. So in short a book with plenty of labs in each chapter is very important to me, I learn better doing. But again thanks for the suggestions and I will keep them in mind if I can't find exactly what I'm
looking for.

Captivate 4 ACE Prep Materials

Hi Folks,
I am trying to find quality prep materials for the Captivate ACE test. There are numerous outlets for Captivate 3 but only 2 for Captivate 4 and they appear to be brain dumps rather than a quality prep package. Do you think that the Captivate 3 material is close enough to Captivate 4? I really like the package available from Ucertify (they claim to be brain dump free), but they only have Captivate 3 available.

I passed the Captivate 4 ACE last night. I found the best help was to study the Topic Areas and Objectives on the Adobe Product Proficiency Exam Bulletin and run a blank CP4 project while going through each objective.
Hey...Anyone know how long it takes for the Adobe ACE Web Login form to recognize your name and information?
Or is this page even working???
It won't recognize the exam info I enter.
Any ACE people tried accessing this lately?
How do you donwload the logo?

DreamWeaver CS3 Ace Prep Materials

Hello, New to this site forum. I Have Adobe creative suites
CS3 (not Master collection). I have been working allot with
Dreamweaver. I have been using Classroom in a book as my primary
source for learning. It has lots of typos in the book. Things like
asking you to click on something in the lessons files that doesn't
match whats in the book.As well as many other situations. All in
all its pretty good as it has made be pretty familar with how the
basics of the program works. However the lady that wrote the PS CS3
Classroom in a book would of done a much better job. The DW Class
in a book is like reading a phone book!
I want to learn as much as I can sio I am ready to take the
ACE test. At $150.00 a pop failing isn't an option for me. I cannot
find any syllabus or pool of possible questions and answers, ect.
There are only 2 places that are certified thru Adobe to give the
tests, good thing they have plenty of testing locations.
If there is anyone that has a DW CS3 prep materials they no
longer need, or know of a place that they are posted on the WEB. I
would greatly appreciate your help. a Little history about me, I am
not a student, I am not a business. I am just a 38 year old man
trying my best to live my dream of opening my own graphic design
studio. I love Adobe products and have made great sacrifice to
purchase these programs. I want to know all I can and offer
certified credentials to my potential clients.
Are any of you Ace certified? Do you see a real benefit? I

How do you ensure people can not copy your materials and steal your ideas.

We have a number of training manuals and we just print them for our participants. A number of participants every year ask for e-copies. Its a great idea but how do I ensure they can not copy the materials and re-purpose it for their own use. In worse case scenerio they could copy huge chunks of the manuals and become competitors.
The searchable feature is one reason sited by clients for e-copies. This kind of shuts down the scan -OCR approach. To make it searchable would be a sizable task.
Some approach to limit easy copying;
bi-column writing columns
Waterwarks
encrypted passwords - however this still may allow it to be passed around to wider audiences.
I feel like I'm asking futile question in the modern e-era, how do i lock down my materials allow for ease of use and distribution and yet ensure our IP is not distributed beyond the intended audience.

Staying on paper provides only the perception of "protection".
It is trivial to prep a hardcopy source, scan the paper, OCR and have it all in PDF.
While Acrobat's OCR will do an adequate job one can step up to something more robust if desired.
Once PDFs with OCR output are in hand it is, again, trivial to export the textual content.
Going to TXT, RTF, DOC or DOCX lets one clean up, edit, etc.
Go digital. Apply appropriate copyright information to metadata and elsewhere.
Monitor your field of endeavor. At the end of the day it really is a limit field of play with limited players in a very big world.
Should you come across the baddies have the lawyers tree 'em eh.
If you've a end-user friendly, usable product you will get more "end-users".

BOM report showing materials and their prices

Hi all,
I'm trying to spool a report that shows the BOM materials and all their different prices so I can sum them up and know the total.
I tried using CS13. I changed the layout so the display can include the standard prices of the materials(as maintained in the material master) but nothing is displayed at all.
Is it possible that I'm using the wrong tcode? What am I doing wrong and how can I get the report?

Need Single Billing Document for Materials and Services in Sales Order

Hello Friends,
I am selling FERT items and DIEN items in the Sales Order.
Document flow as follows:
Finished goods - Order-Delivery-Billing
Services - Order-Billing
In this process 2 seperate billing documents are created
i. Delivery Related Billing document for Finished goods.
ii. Order related Billing document for services.
I want to create a single billing document for both the items (FG & Services) in the sales order.
Please suggest.

Sorry for the delay friends.
Somebody suggested me to make services 'relevant for delivery' to ensure single billing document.
What I did were the following steps:
1. Copy Item Category TAD to ZTAD and make is 'relevant foir delivery'
2. Assign Item Category ZTAD to Sales Order type and Item Cat Group 'LEIS'
3. Go to Deliveries Item Categories and through new Entries add ZTAD. Make ZTAD relevant for Picking.
4. Go to copy control 'Order to Delivery' and insert ZTAD in Item Categories relevant for this combination.
Now when I create sales order with materials and services, they pass over to the delivery document and in the Services item, storage location/plant is greyed out. Only the picking quantity is required to be filled.
PROBLEM :
I am not getting the price of Services item in the billing document.
Billing document copies all line items (tangible and intangible) from Delivery Document
It takes the services item details/quantities etc. to VF01 but the price comes '00.00'
Any suggestions.
Is this legally viable? Someone told me its not legally correct.

This field is not stored in the COMM_PRODUCT table.

I've been using "Burn" for years and it has been the only DVD burning software I have ever used for the mac. I have never needed to look at other apps. Unless you want something that has more bells and whistles such as Roxio's "Toast" : http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/toast/pro/overview.html
There are thousands of quality free apps out there for the mac that are not part of the App Store. All you have to do is read reviews online, do a little search, the Apple forums are full of recommendations from experienced users that have been here for years...

Right-Click pop-up more than one Description and tip

Is it possible to edit the run-time popup menu for a right click on a control?
My front panel has a cluster within a cluster and the right-click popup menu gives you two different "Description and Tip" to select from. This is confusing for the user.
How do I edit the run-time right-click popup menu?

Replication of Materials and services from R/3 to SRM

Hello,
I would like to get some advice about replicating materials and services from R/3 46C to SRM 5.0.
I replicated the objects succesfully in Development and the Test environment but now i have to do it in a Productive environment.
We use about 40.000 material and 5000 services in R/3.
Im concerned about the timing of the process.
How long will this aproximately take to replicate this amount of data?
What will be the best time to start replicating?
Is there any inconvenience in replicating during the normal working hours?
What happens if a user is currently using a material during the replication process? Is the material replicated anyway?

This depends on the Production System Resources and the processes available. But for the number you have projected here should not take more than 2 - 3 hours at the max.
What will be the best time to start replicating?

What happens if a user is currently using a material during the replication process? Is the material replicated anyway?
It better to perform the activity during the night / production outtage time. Ideally users should be allowed to use them after the replication process. So, please do not perform this during business hours or when there are end users in the system. You can just trigger the replciation in the night and it should be completed in few hours. Besides, if there are any background activities the workprocesses will be occupied (very common in business hours) and hence there will not be enough processes for the replication job. This will increase the time for replication by many folds.

As per my knowledge, normally goods are transported from Plant through shipping point, So ultimately shipping point is the responsible for that.
