70D software unable to download on Mac with or without CD's even changing OS's

I purchased a 70D bundle including software, I've tried downloading the software on my 6 month old Mac but have failed to do so. I even tried downloading it from Canon, and still does the same thing. I've changed from Mavericks to Mountain Lion as suggested from another blog but without success. I even called Mac support but failed to get it working. I love this camera but I'm getting very frustrated with this issue. Any solution to this problem?

Curioser and curioser. I'm doing okay getting the dmg from that link using an Internet Explorer 6. Yousendit (or a trying a different PC rather than the library one) might well be the best option for you in the short term.
In the long term:
+I'd also like to see Apple allow for a more direct route to do this sort of thing.+
I don't see why not ... after all, it's readily possibly to download the Mac version of the iTunes installer to a PC.
If you've got the time and inclination, it might be worth putting through some feedback to Apple about that. My best guess as to which feedback form to use might be the following one:
Website Feedback (broken links, etc)

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums. I see you are running into some fax issues with you HP Officejet 8600 since upgrading to the Mac Yosemite 10.10 Operating system. Please go ahead and get started below:
Scrub/ Uninstall
• Open the Applications folder > HP or Hewlett Packard folder > HP Uninstaller
• Click continue, click on one of the printers in the list.
• * Only do this step if you do not have any other HP Printers. Hold down Control, Option and Command, While holding the three buttons down,
• Click uninstall.
Reset Printing System
1. Click the Apple icon ( ), and then click System Preferences.
2. In the Hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/Scan dialog box opens.
3. Right-click (or Ctrl +click) in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system…
4. Click OK to confirm the reset.
5. Type the correct Name and Password.
6. Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows no printer selected
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol..
Repair Disk Permissions
1.On the Dock, click Applications, and then click Utilities.
2.Double-click Disk Utility.
3.Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
4.Click the Repair Disk Permissions button at the bottom of the window.
5.Once the repair is complete, restart the computer.
Restart the printer. Now you can download and install the printer software and install it. Click on the link below to begin the download and follow the on screen instructions:

If you're unable to turn it on, let alone even charge it then it definitely sounds like a battery issue to me. I'd wait for someone else to reply just to be sure but I think somehow the battery by the sounds of it must have died. However, I could be very wrong.
If you're still under applecare which you should be then it should be an easy free fix. Hope this helps!

With latest version of Flashplayer - unable to download streaming video with realplayer

The latest version of Adobe flashplayer (11.5) was loaded today (nov 9, 2012). As a result, using either IE9 or Firefox, I was unable to download streaming videos using Realplayer, where it was set up by "Download the Video". I had no trouble with Flashplayer 11.4, although I had the same problem with Flashplayer 11.3.

Unable to download Enterprise Preview with Akamai Download Client

I am unable to download the Enterprise Preview (x64) British English with the Akamai client. I keep getting "Cannt save in this location, please try another".
I have verified the usual stuff. User rights, folder redirection. I even created a Temp folder on the C drive, verified that there was enough space and that Everyone had Full access rights to it, but no luck.
The OS I am running is Windows 8.1 in an Enterprise Environment. I have successfully downloaded software with Akamai before, but it keeps failing on Microsoft stuff.
Can someone please provide me with direct download links for the ISO of the latest technical preview of Windows 10 with English GB language, clean install?

Unable to download newest episode with seasonpass

I purchased the season pass for prison break season 4 a month ago but am unable to download episode 7. when i click on check for check for available downloads it says that there are none. episode 7 just came out and I do not have it in my library. The computer i'm on is the only computer that has access to this account so i do not see how someone else would have downloaded it on another computer. my purchase history also shows that i have only downloaded 6 episodes. can someone please help me out here..thanks..

Season pass episodes are usually made available for download around 9 a.m. after the day they are aired. They may appear early but you can't download them until you received the email notifications.
Anyway, the second episode of Chuck, Season 2 has audio issue.

HT1750 unable to download pdf files with the new lion instillation

I am unable to download pdf files after installing lion.

I have an imac purchased 4/2010 and same thing happened to me but can't find anyone to address it. The real tragedy here is that I paid for the full adobe creative suite, web premium back in 2010 and Adobe Pro can't open them, although it worked just fine before. Then I installed the latest version of Adobe reader and tried changing that to my default and that doesn't work either.
It's pretty lame that I have to go on my boyfriends windows pc to open and print a .pdf as the only alternative. I did not read about this when researching whether or not to upgrade to lion from snow leopard otherwise I would not have kept the old operating system.
Why isn't apple addressing this???

Can anyone recommend software I can ddownload to an iMac to convert outlook .pst files stored on a memory stick to .mbox files for transfer to mac mail? I have mail files I set up in outlook I need to transfer to my new mac, but have no internet connection on pc, so can't download anything on to it and have had to export .pst files to a usb stick.

Unable to download PDF docs with Safari

I cannot download PDF documents from the internet, using Safari. All I get is a plain black screen, with the following message: "the document "04_712....._12Sep11_A.pdf" could not be exported as "Hydro Bill.pdf". Alternatively, I have absolutely no problem opening PDF documents from files on my computer. I have downloaded the most recent version of Adobe Reader but that made no difference. How can I fix this?

If you upgraded to Lion > Known Issues | Adobe products on Mac OS 10.7 Lion

Deskjet 2540 unable to download driver Mac

I've just bought a deskjet 2540, and run installer.
This message appears:
This HP software is not compatible with your version of Mac OS X. This installer requires Mac OS X version 10.6 or later.
I don't have 10.6 or later. Can I still use this printer or do I need to return it?

You would need to return it. Sorry to say, it will not work with anything lower than 10.6.
The newest HP printers are no longer compatible to work with 10.5 and below. You can find a few still that will, here are a few examples;
HP Deskjet 3050A e-All-in-One Printer - J611a
HP Officejet 8600 Series
HP Photosmart 5510, 6510 and 7510
There are others, I suggest talking to the sales rep and making sure that 10.5 is printed on the box as a compatible OS.

Failure to download on MAC with Mountain Lion

I have repeatedly tried to download Flash Player and it fails with a message at the 50% download mark to "close out Safari" ... I do this and it still loops back to the same failure ... exercised this 4-5 times using your guidance with no luck. Any suggestions? Running OS X v 10.8.4 .

Download the offline installer here: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/mac /install_flash_player_11_osx.dmg
Mount the DMG and run the installer
If it won't run, go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plugins
Trash the Flash Player.plugin file from there
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Trash the Flash Player folder (the whole folder)
Empty the trash
Reboot
Mount the DMG and run the installer again.

IPhone4 .MOV (HD) sent to MM Gallery - Download to MAC with Lion - No way to play it

I'm on travel with my MacBookPro i7 with Lion 10.7.1 and iPhone4. Usually I sync iTunes with the iMac which is left at Home.
Made a less than 2' video HD with iPhone and uploaded to my MM Gallery.
No problem, the video is there and plays into MM Gallery on my MBP with 8 GB Ram.
Download of the video gives me a 20 MB .MOV
No way to open it in several programs...sorry APPS: Tried Aperture3 FCE iMovie iTunes10 HandBrake iSkySoft MPGStremclip RelPlayer Turbo264HD VLC

Well probably it will work with iTunes but I do notn wish to sinc it with my MBP and will wait until monday to sync with the iMac at Home.

Very strange. I downloaded it again and it took a lot less time.
May be you cannot download completely from MM Gallery if the file was uploaded only since few hours ???
But why you do not get an info from the system ?
I am sure I could open the clip and start plaing it before the first Download but probably it was not jet complete.
Now of course the second download was for sure done from a file fully uploaded on MM Gallery because I loaded it yesterday.
I woould also like to move this post to a more correct forum, may be MM ...

How do I connect to remote mac with ard without being prompted for username and pasword

I setup my Mac Pro to connect to my Macbook Pro (both on snow leopard at the time) with apple remote desktop when I used to select control on my Mac Pro I used to be able to start controlling my MBP straght away with out needing to enter a username or pasword.
When Lion came out I upgraded my Mac Pro and left my MBP on snw leoprd no settings on my MBP were changed I installed the ARD control software on my Mac Pro and when I clicked control I was requested to enter a username and password.
Does anyone know why I can no longer control my MBP without entering a username and pasword and how to setup ARD to allow me to do that?

Create a text file with name boot.properties in the directory <Domain_Home>/servers/<Server_Name>/security. The file must contain the following:
username=<username>
password=<password>
Replace <username> and <password> with the username and password of an WLS admin user (e.g. weblogic). They will be encrypted automatically by WLS at first boot.
