720 UK in WHITE - availability

Hi,
As the subject says, any idea when the 720 will be available in white?
I promised a friend i'd get her this phone for her birthday and she wants it in white. Been waiting months now since it was released and feeling a little embarrased cos her birthday was a long time ago now.
Thanks.

Thanks again.
Shame, it seems like one of the key selling points of the Lumia line is the range of colours, yet it's been squandered by the networks. I'd hoped Nokia would get more support, seems all they care about is Android and getting these phones stocked in the first place is a much tougher battle than it should be for Nokia.
Not the route I want to go, but assuming nothing changes, how difficult would it be to fit this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-Nokia-Lumia-720-Housing-Back-Chassis-With-Volume-Power-Buttons-Whi...
if I were to get a red or black one from o2?
Or do you think i'd be better off taking my chances with the white one from simpleelectronics?
Maybe I'll just try to persuade her to get a 925 instead, although that's going to be more expensive.

    Hi Kcc29,
Thank you for posting and welcome to the Nokia Support Discussions!
If I'm not mistaken, Mauritius is located on Africa right? You might want to check on this link: http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/wp8-software-update/.
If you haven't got the update yet, you can try turning 'on' and 'off' the airplane mode on your phone by going to settings > airplane mode. Then try to connect to your router again and manually check for the update by going to settings > phone update. We ask you to be patient as the software update for the Nokia Lumia range are being released gradually.
    Let us know the outcome.
    Thanks!

Anyone have some advices on how to solve it, or maybe just some pointers where the problem could lie? I'm starting to run out of ideas.

  • Need help in understanding of a certain errormessage

    Hello everybody,
I get the following error message:
"Kein Speicher der Länge 720 für OCCURS-Bereich verfügbar"
( I assume in English that would be: "No Memory of Lenght 720 for OCCURS-Area available")
Can anyone give me a hint what that means and what I can do to avoid this error?
    Regards

Is this happening when you open Crystal Reports Designer or a report?
Check your anti-virus software or possibly your firewall, CR tries to get to our home page to update the Start Page of the designer with links to updates, samples etc.

  • Remotely stop\start your Windows Dialog Instance from System i CI

    Hi All,
Is there a way to remotely stop and start your Dialog Instance running on Windows from your system 'i' Central Instance?
    Thanks,
    Diana

    Hello Diane,
We thought about the situation and came to the conclusion, that with the 720 DCK the restriction of only starting/stopping IBM I remote instances with one STARTSAP/STOPSAP call can be dropped.
The new note 1644051 will describe what to do.
    Here is a short summary:
You have to apply the 720 DCK to all instances of your SAP system following note 1636252. Also follow this note to obtain info when 720 DCK will be available for all SAP Systems newer than SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ("7.00") without restrictions.
You have to apply at least the 720 dw patch #67 to all instances (all platforms).
You have to apply at least the 720 ILE Patch #111 (I think this will be the number, but for the official number wait for note 1644051) to all IBM I hosted instances.
Of course the first stack kernel available after complete 720 DCK availability will contain all patches needed.
Please remove any additional stuff from the START profile which you added to start/stop remote windows Instances along with your central Instance.
    Then you can call
    STARTSAP SID(<sapsid>) INSTANCE(ALL) INSTHOST(ALL)
    STOPSAP SID(<sapsid>) INSTANCE(ALL) INSTHOST(ALL)
to start and stop really all instances out of the box.
    Kind Regards
    Joachim

  • HVX200 speed changes in FCP . . .HELP!

    So confused here . . . I appreciate any help people can offer . . .
Shot footage with HVX200 in 720p/24p mode at various frame rates (12,18,48,60). Trying to use it alongside my DVCPRO50 project footage (with the speed changes of course). I imported the P2 clips into my project, they appear to have retained the proper frame rate: 59.94fps. But when I put them into my DV50 29.97fps timeline they of course need rendering, but they DON'T play back at their proper speeds. They look more or less the same. Any idea why this is so?
I KNOW that I should have shot in the 720p/24pn mode so that the excess frames would have been removed for 29.97 playback, but I tried using the Panasonic/Apple DVCPROHD Frame Conversion tool and NOTHING happens. I follow the instructions to a T, select the clip in the bin, select the plug-in from the tools menu and NOTHING happens at all, no message, no chime, nothing. I'm running FCP 5.1.2 in OS 10.48, Quicktime 7.13 — everything is up to date. ANY IDEA what I've done wrong? I even tried re-importing the 720 clips to no avail.

    Welcome to the forums.
Shot footage with HVX200 in 720p/24p mode at various frame rates (12,18,48,60). Trying to use it alongside my DVCPRO50 project footage
You do realize that you are using HD footage in a standard def project, right? And that the camera does shoot DVCPRO 50. Just curious.
I imported the P2 clips into my project, they appear to have retained the proper frame rate: 59.94fps. But when I put them into my DV50 29.97fps timeline they of course need rendering, but they DON'T play back at their proper speeds. They look more or less the same. Any idea why this is so?
If you drop the footage into a 29.97 timeline and render, it will play back at 29.97fps...it won't slow down or speed up. That is not how you adjust the speed. I often get footage shot 720p60, and if I want to just mix it with my other 720p24 footage, I drop it into the timeline and render. However, if I want it to be slow motion, I use the DVCPRO HD Frame Rate Converter.
But you said you tried that and nothing happened...so try this trick. Create a new project and copy the clips into that project, THEN try the converter. It is an odd bug, but that is what I do and it works great.
For more information, I blog about my experiences working with P2 and DVCPRO HD in general. CLick on Underdog to get there.

  • Oracle Berkeley DB Java Edition High Availability (White Paper)

    Hi all,
I've just read Oracle Berkeley DB Java Edition High Availability White Paper
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/berkeleydb/berkeleydb-je-ha-whitepaper-132079.pdf
In section "Time Consistency Policy" (Page 18) it is written:
"Setting a lag period that is too small, given the load and available hardware resources, could result in
frequent timeout exceptions and reduce a replica's availability for read operations. It could also increase
the latency associated with read requests, as the replica makes the read transaction wait so that it can
catch up in the replication stream."
Can you tell me why those read operations will not be taken by the master ?
Why will we have frequent timeout ?
Why should read transaction wait instead of being redirect to the master ?
Why should it reduce replica's availability for read operations ?
    Thanks

Please post this question on the Berkeley DB Java Edition (BDB JE) forum Berkeley DB Java Edition. This is the Berkeley DB Core (BDB) forum.
    Thanks,

  • When will the white note edge be available

When will VZW make the Frosted White Note Edge available?

Usually black and or white are sold as available color options first.  In this case, I would imagine that, if another carrier does not already have an exclusive right to one color, that it would be available at a later date, usually a few months into the life of a device after its release.  I reference the LG G3 and how Red was introduced 6 months after release during a short-lived promotion and also, how Best Buy sold a blue model whereas other carriers or dealers did not.

when will the white ipod touch be available in stores, if known then would it be available at best buy?

The new iPod has just begun shipping to people that ordered them online directly from Apple. Expect another 2-3 weeks at least before stores have them.
