7610 takes 14 minutes to print pdf per page

Taking 15 minutes per page to print pdf.
WHY???????

Hi,
How long does it take to send file to the printer (called Flattering) ? Yesterday I created an one page PDF file using Adobe Acrobat 10, the file size is only 21Kb (yes 21Kb) and it took 17mins to send that file to my printers. They are all networked, big laser printers. The output did not come out, the printers display memory full (all of them - note: I can walk to any printer with my access card to det my output). These printers can print 400 pages PDF document no longer than 10mins. I will send it to another printer later when working at other building.

P2035 takes 2 minutes to print each page

2035 printer and a Windows 7 computer. First page prints normally. Each Additional page takes 2 minutes to print. I have unplugged the printer and downloaded every available driver update. The toner is a new HP unit. Any ideas?

Exactly same problem. Printer connected via net. With usb connection - no problem.
For temporary solution i turn on "quiet mode", then print goes slowly, but without pause.
UPD In other forum said, that this problem occur only with A5 format. And this is not a problem, this is automaticly protection of printer.

Printing multiple pdfs per page

How do I print multiple pages of pdfs on on single page? Usually there is an option to print multiple per page but I cannot find it.

There's an "Auto Rotate" checkbox under the "Preview" section of the printing dialog, because tha'ts obviously a logical title for it...

Welcome to the HP forums.
If you have sent a test print via ePrint, and experience this issue, i would call the Cloud Services department.
If ePrint works fine, it is definitely a Google Cloud Print issue.
Also, when you print from your android device, are you using Google Cloud print or the HP ePrint app?

It takes 15 minutes to print

When i want to print a photoshop document it takes a long time for the dialogs box to show up and from there on every click takes five minutes for photoshop to react. It might hasve something to do with a print pofile I installed for a dye printer but I have deleted tha printer and stil have the problem. May-by som way to reset the printer prifiles but I have no clue on how to do this.

My default printer is HP photosmart 5180. It is a networkprinter
I think the problem started when I changed setting to use the ICC profile of the GX7000 Print Driver for ICC Profile
This printer is connected in a network at my job. It is connected with usb in the network.
I just was to reset the default color profile but I have no clue
In the printer dialog box I do not know if the printer or Adobe should manage the colors.
I do not need nice prints since I will not use my own laptop again for printing on the gelprinter. I just want to make a fast print as I could do normally.
Today I also discovered that Premiere Cs6 cannot open my photoshop files. It might be related.

How to print PDF few pages duplex but not all from one PDF Doc?

We have a desktop application that we use and it gives instructions to printer which document to duplex and which to not. For easy understanding, in a PDF if there are 10 pages, i want to take first two pages whenever they are printed they go on duplex rest of 8 pages should print without duplex. I have a PDF of these 10 pages document and want to send via email to one, so that if he has duplex printer, he just send that PDF doc to printer and it automatically send first two pages duplexed then rest of 8 pages per paper. So finally he get 9 printed hard copies. My question is, is there any capability in PDF document we can apply per page that when go on printer it instructs to printer to duplex me or not. Like we have PDF properties associated with doc. Can we setup such property for each page? I know this is not a good question, but our business requies to send PDF to customers and we do save this to do ourself, How customer know which page to duplex then?
If there is any automated solution we can give to customers? The PDF each page take decision by its own when going on printer it says i have to go on back of the paper and the other says i won't have to be duplexed?

I see you are using Dietmar Aust's JasperReportsIntegration kit. Check out following tutorials on how to call your report from APEX:

How to print day per page on Palm Desktop?

I have a .dba Palm DateBook file taken off a Palm Treo 650 phone. I would like to print the calendar entries with the entries for one day per page. However the Palm Desktop software appears to only provide for one whole month to be printed on a single page. Does anyone know how I can print the calendar entries for a particular day on a single page?

Open Printers & Scanners. Select the HP. Click on Open Printer Queue. From the menubar, click on the Printer menu and then select Print Test Page.

Can't print pdf web pages

using OS 10.4.11, safari 3.1.1, and adobe professional 7.0, I find that although
I can print most web pages, I can't print a pdf web page.

where do you make that selection?
Not sure where in Acrobat Professional, but in the free Acrobat Reader, it's in Acrobat Reader menu > Preferences > (category) Internet > "Display PDF in browser using:" - uncheck the box and that should cause Safari to use it's own PDF display engine (shared with Preview).
how do I make Safari show scroll command along page side - right now I seem to have lost ability to scroll up and down web page ?
That's a puzzler - the vertical/horizontal scroll bars should always be there if the page is longer/wider than the current size of the display window... Might try posting that one in the Safari for Mac forum.

There is an option in Frame properties -> Show objects in -> you can choose first page so that the objects will be displayed in the first page.
What do you mean by 'group has now changed'?

HP 6525 printing pdf off page

6525 printer seems to have a mind of its own when printing pdf attachments from Windows 7. New install of both PC and printer. Haven't been able to print pdfs correctly since install. Two inch margin on left and 1 1/2 inches on right. About one inch of right side of page is cut off and not printed.

I understand you are running into issues when you print PDF. documents as the margins are way off as you explained. You are using the HP Photosmart 6525 and this issue only started after you uninstalled and reinstalled.
I have a few questions to ask you before we go any further so i can better understand the issue.
1. Why did you do an uninstall and reinstall? What was the printer doing before that made you do that?
2. Do you have margin issues with any other program? Try a different PDF. software and try a generic processor document from Microsoft Word etc.
3. What program are you using to print when you encounter this error?
4. How is your printer connected to your computer?

ich möchte gerne aus Anwendungen heraus statt zu drucken eine pdf erstellen und per mail versenden (möglichst ohne zu sehen, dass andere Programme aufgerufen werden!).
kann ich den "pdf-printer" so einstellen, dass Dokumente nicht modifiziert werden können?
hat schon jemand sowas realisiert?

OK, print a standard text page and listen to the printheads as they travel across the page. Do the printheads make a sweep, then stop for 5-15 seconds, then make another sweep? Are there hundreds of sweeps across the page to print?
If the latter then check the print settings. If you are printing on plain paper then select plain paper rather than automatic in the paper type settings. Also, printing in "Normal" mode is faster than "Best".

Firefox takes 1 minute or more to open pages.

Hey,
Recently updated to Firefox 15, now all webpages take at least 1 minute to load. However, there is no internet issue, it's really strange. For example, I'll open four different websites, they'll all say 'Connecting to x' or 'Waiting for x' and just stay there for a minute. After a while, they'll all load as usual at the same time. It's like Firefox has loaded the pages but just isn't displaying them, while this was happening once, I tried resetting the router to see if there was an error there and it still loaded the page after 1 minute, while there was no internet connection available.
I've tried - disabling firewall, anti virus, reinstalling Firefox, restarting router and disabling plugins. Other internet browsers work with no problem.

Has anyone printed 2 per page?

I've been using A3 successfully since day 1, and printed dozens of images of various sizes. Now I've tried to print 2ea 5x7 on letter size, and no luck. I made a custom preset, but when I try to print it hangs up in "processing" mode. If I cancel, it hangs up in "cancel" mode. Only way to recover is to force quit. I reported to Apple, but would like to know if anyone has been able to get it to work.

Printing more than one image to a single sheet of paper is broken in Aperture 3. See this thread (skip to my last message in the thread for the latest info):

IDCS2 - Print/save seperate pdf files per page (with custom filenames)

Hi everyone,
I'm having this issue here. I've created a new document after data merging, this document has 50 pages, every page contains an amount, a code and an image. Now i need to have 50 seperate pdf files, so 1 pdf per page, from this with a file name that goes like this: "ammount_code.pdf"
Is this possible, if yes, can you explain like I was a 3-year-old kid please? :-)

I don't think there is any nice, automatic way to do this out of the box. It might be scriptable, though, since you could probably pull the amount code for each page that way, but you'd need to ask over in the scripting forum for the fastest response.
In the meantime, someone asked a similar question last week, and I pointed him to a paid plugin, and you can also export the document to PDF, then use Acrobat Pro to extract the pages to separate files, but at that point I think you'd need to manually rename them to get your codes as the filenames.
