7914, Problems with "Hold" and "Transfer" appearance

We have a site that is experiencing problems with the line appearances on the 7914s that the assistances have in order to view their manager's extensions.
The Line text label is configured for "Name + DN" so the assistant can keep track of the lines when they ring and the CID appears next to the LTL.
When the call is picked up via the 7914 and transfered, the line text label on the other 7914's in the office change from displaying the "Name + DN" to the name of the person who transfered the call.
This is very confusing for the staff who is trying to keep track of the calls and who they are for.
Is there any way to prevent this from happening, or alternatively, to have line text label appear ALL the time and never CID or the transfering partys name appear??

    I was wondering if I can get help. I use a Canon Vixia HF S200 and FCP Version 6.0.6
    I have produced projects on my MacBook Pro 2.33 Ghz Intel Core 2 using this process before with no problems in the past. This problem just started and I dont know what has changed. When I open the Log and Transfer (LT) window I can see and hear all my video from the AVCHD folder in my harddrive just fine, I can scrub with no prob.... But when I add clip to Queue I get an red circle with exclamation on my status.
    I have changed the settings on the preferences to Apple intermediate Codec and the audio to plain stereo.. no luck there, the video still will not transfer to my bin.
    I have made sure that the toggle Queue state was the little arrow instead of the paused icon...no luck there either... i got a message that says clip queued transferring but nothing is happening.
    I will appreciate your help!
    Also I didn't mean to tread jack earlier, please accept my apologies, if anybody saw that...

    OK!!!!! This seriously cost me 1 day of my life that I'll never get back!!! lol
    So I was able to bring the footage in on to Imovie...Yes, I was that desperate...deadlines do that!
    Edited the entire project there...kinda sucked...
    Then I had the bright idea that if I was able to bring the videos in to Imovie, on my local HD...than something may be wrong with my scratch disk that I use on FC...its a USB disk, specs =slow.
    So I changed the scratch disk and yes "Davi S" for good measure I also deleted the Pref files.
    So it working again...here I go editing on FC after I edited the entire project on Imovie...

    We implement ERMS email push scenario: email is received on SAPconnect, processed by ERMS, pushed to CMS (Genesys) and routed back to CRM. We are able to receive the action item and the email pops upon Accept; however:
    1/ we are not able to access CAD submitted by CMS (the format of the CAD is correct)
    2/ when we try to transfer the action item we get an error message: "CRM_IC_APPL_UI_CHMSG   023   Function cannot be executed; cannot retrieve contact"
    We've done a bit of debugging and we've noticed there is no handling implemented for itemchannel = 'action' in IF_CRM_IC_EVENT_LISTENER~HANDLE_EVENT class CL_ICCMP_CCS:
            CASE itemchannel.
              WHEN cl_crm_ic_mcm_contact=>c_channel_telephony.
                CREATE OBJECT contact
              WHEN cl_crm_ic_mcm_contact=>c_channel_email.
                  CREATE OBJECT email

    It describes pretty well all the steps required to enable ERMS.
    For ERMS Email Push you need to ensure your policy rule has two mandatory actions (you'd define them as last ones):
    - Push Email to ICI
    - Route Email
    Note: that means that once the email is pushed to ICI it still needs to be dispatched within CRM i.e. the associated WF needs to be assigned somwhere.
    In addition: the system neesd to know to which CMS the action item should be pushed. You need to define it in CRMM_BCB_ADM with CMS ID = ERMS_ACTION.

    Hello ME Windows Users, now before you place a wry smile on your face, I have a problem with path and classpath. Stop it, I can see you smiling!
    By visiting the the last 10 pages of the forum and reading Sun installation notes, some tooldocs and by given some answers by some nice people, I have become an expert in turning off my computer, about 10 times/hr. I still am trying to make my first cup of java.
    With the ME computer,
    I'm unable to right click on the desktop and go to properties, advanced,
    I'm unable to go go start, run, sysedit,
    I'm unable to change the ms-dos window of autoexec.bat, it just shuts down.
    Now before you tell me, I should of bought a different computer, the only place I can find to modify the path and classpath is in the environment which is in system configuration under tools. Here I have placed numerous configurations, like
    C:\java>set path=%path%;c:\j2sdk1.4.2\bin
    C:\java>set classpath=%classpath%;.;
    ;java_dir\bin where ;java_bin is c:\j2sdk1.4.2

    But, I know you are still smiling, the % signs comes up in a dialog box, saying too many, and will not convert the text to the environment to be saved when I close down for the tenth time in the last hour.
    Can someone help me before I make a real cup of coffee and accidentally drop it on the ME box.

    If it's happening on all apps that you've downloaded, but not on the Apple built-in apps, then try downloading any free app as that appears to reset something - you can then re-try your apps, and you can delete the free app.
    If it's only happening on one or two apps then try closing them completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with any of the affected apps 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the apps to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
    If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • Problem with Facetime and my MacBookPro camera

    I've got a MacBookPro and I have a problem with Facetime and my front camera.
    When I have a discussion with an iMac or an other MacBook the image received by the other person becomes fix.
    To unfix it I have to put my finger on my camera and then everything is good until the next time, 4 to 10 seconds later I've got the problem again.
    Perhaps somebody can help me.
    My head on my screen is always good even when the bug appear on my correspondent's screen.
    For information, the 2 mac have the same iOS version (OSX Lion) and Facetime version.

    Keychain Access.app is in your Utilities folder in your Applications folder.
    The path will be: Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access.app.
    Keychain is where all your passwords are stored for those applications that you don't want to have to manually log into all the time.
    It's a handy app to become familiar with, for instance if you want to look up a password or user name from the past.

  • Problem with Java and Windows (Mainly Vista and UAC)

    Hi all,
    I am having a problem with a program that I've devoloped. The program itself is packaged as a jar and I plan to deploy it across multiple platforms eventually however right now i am only concerned about windows based systems. I have made an installer for a windows baised systems using NSIS to install the software files. I made the installer as I need several java packages to be installed so the program would work (JAI, J3D, JAI ImageIO) and I also require the program to have fileassociations on windows.
    I know that this is not what java is about, however the majority of the users will be on windows baised systems so I've decided that OS specific installers is the best option.
    During the process I have noticed that there are several key problem with java for this type of application!
    The first issue that I have come across is getting file associations to work on java. As a .jar is not an excutable it is not possible to directly associate a filetype with it in java so to overcome this I currently run the program from a .bat files and also the program requires large memory so this also allows me to run the program with -xmx. The batch file that I use is :

    Ok so all this appears to work fine and allows windows to have file associations and start the program and thats all works perfectly but this is a non-ideal solution. Has anyone got any advice on improving this?
    The next problem that I have appears to be a problem with Vista and UAC (user access control). When a user installs the program and installs the program into the program files directory I found that the program did not work and kept saying that I did not have access to the files in the current directory. This is a problem as I read and write settings files during program execution.
    On a Vista system UAC prevents file write operations into the Program Files directory unless the program has requested elevated status even if the user is a full administrator. The probem is that there appears to be no real way to achieve this under java that I'm aware of...
    Has anyone else had this probem and has a suitable solution?
    Any advice on these issues would realy be appricated.

    This program allows you start java with a UAC dialog for high access using
    Elevate java -jar myjar.jar
    This then allows you to have full access using java... I guess it could be dangerous but it does the job.

    There's nothing wrong with your code or tuxedo. tpcall (and tpgetrply) can change the address of the return buffer if it needs to allocate more memory to hold the data. This is the reason why you pass a pointer to the buffer as the output buffer parameter to tpcall and tpreturn. Everything is working as expected.

  • Problem with JRE and Yahoo applets

    Hi, I couldn't find any answer for this anywhere else...
    Whenever I try to play a Yahoo game, certain windows will "shake". For example, if I log into yahoo, then go to play their spades game, the applet will load without any problem. The game room will appear and everything seems to be fine. But if I click on the Start Panel, the borders of the Start menu will "shake" If I right click on anything, that menu will also shake. This only occurs while JRE is running the yahoo applet. Once I leave the yahoo game, everything returns to normal. If I use IE and MSVM, this problem does not occur. This problem does not seem to occur with other instances of Java either. Only Yahoo games. I tried searching Yahoo for an answer to this, but didn't find anything. When I tried getting help from them, they replied with an email to update Java and/or my browsers. Well, I am using version 1.4.2_04 of java, and have IE6 updated as of today. Also, I am using Opera version 7.54 and Firefox 0.93. This problem with Java and Yahoo occurs no matter which browser I am using. The only way to keep this from happening seems to be to use IE with MSVM. Any ideas?

    That page does apply. Everything that you have written indicates conclusively that the Yahoo game you're playing is the source of the problem. The fact that it works with the MS jvm but not with the Sun jvm, that the Sun jvm works with other Java applets, etc all say the same thing - that Yahoo applets wer/are coded to work with the MS jvm, which uses MS extensions in violation of the Sun/MS licensing agreements. The statement at the bottom of the page is proof positive - your spades game is not listed by Yahoo as being fixed.

    OK, finally solved the problem... A good night's sleep always helps ;).
    After just trying each queried table one after an other, I found the problem:
    The difference between Oracle Apps (Dutch locale) and the reports builder (English) is the language... And our functional people have changed some names, but the Dutch ones, leaving the english names in place and one of the tables I query has language specific data, which is also appears in a where clause.

  • Strange Problems With Display and Permissions Since 10.5.1 update.

    Since I've done the 10.5.1 update I have been having a strange problem with my desktop and dock displays. On my desktop I have these strange lines that appear any time I log in or open any application, the lines never go away and change locations on the screen once I open an application or move a window. My dock has the reflective shelf for about half of it, the rest is a dull grey. I've also had problems with verifying and repairing my permissions. I can never actually complete either permissions task. I've used some third party apps, they always fail as well. The only time I can actually repair my permissions is by booting in to single user mode and doing a fsck -f command. When I boot back in to Leopard and try to use the Disk Utility to repair, it continues to fail.
    I'm not sure if the video problem I am having stems from a permissions issue or possibly a corrupt video driver. Either way, I've done a lot research and haven't found anyone with the same problems I have been having so I thought I would give these forums a shot.
    I am using a PowerMac G4 Quicksilver with dual 800Mhz, 1.5gb RAM, and a GeForce4 Ti 4600 128mb video card.

    I am trying to get some footage off my camera into final cut pro, but Final Cut Pro does not recognise my device when I try to use Log & Transfer

    I did a little Google searching for information on your camera and it appears that it is a Standard Definition Camera that records in the MPEG-2 format.
    Log and Transfer only works with High Definition material.
    You will need to convert your video clips into a format that will work with FCP.
    I know nothing about working in PAL, but you want to download an free application called MPEG Streamclip from

    This application will convert your MPEG-2 files into a format that you can use directly in FCP.
    Once you have converted the files to Apple DV-PAL, with the correct frame rate (25fps?) and field dominance you can either simply drag the converted files into FCP or import them using File > Import.

  • Problems With Syncing and Audio Play with Itunes

    I've been having a problem with Itunes and my iPhone for the past few days. First of all, iTunes will not play any songs. When I press the play button, the speaker changes to the play picture, and the song loads at the top, but the timer stays stuck on zero. Also, when I attempt to sync my iPhone it will not add new songs downloaded onto my phone. I have updated and re-installed iTunes and it has not helped. Also, tonight I even updated my phone settings (which I interestingly enough was able to do despite the fact that I cant get a song to transfer to my iPhone, yet somehow the new program settings were able to make the jump.)
    I am using Windows Vista at the moment. Does anyone have any idea as to what could be going on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried backing up you iPhone and copying over everything to iTunes etc.Apps,Videos...Then Restoring to factory setting?
