7921 shows connection failure error

I am using AP 1131, it working [ I am able to associate with laptop ], but in 7921 it show "connection failure error", any suggestion to troubleshoot this problem

If the laptop works, then could be a config issue on the 7921 or the AP country code is not supported.
What 7921 model do you have?
What authentication/encryption are you using?
What country code is being sent by the AP?

Is this for a process chain triggered from CPS or triggered in BW (see also your other question regarding interception/monitoring of BI process chains) ?
If the process chain is triggered from CPS, the control is assumed to be at CPS so the restart should be done from CPS as well.

TDS Connect Failure Error 17832 - Login Packet used to open the connection is structually invalid

I have a package which uses TDS, Tabular Data Stream, to connect from a VAX VMS system to SQL server and it works for all flavors of SQL server. Except for one server. When I try to connect to this server the application gets disconnected after sending the
Login 7.x message. The server is running Windows 2008 R2 Standard, SP1, 64-bit and is in a domain. SQL Server is 2008 R2 (10.50.4000). SQL Server is configured for "SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode" in Server Properties,
Security, Server authentication. It is set to "allow remote connections to this server". The TCP/IP Client Protocol is enabled in SQL Server Network Configuration, Protocols for MSSQLSERVER. The SQL log shows 2 Logon source errors
upon the connection attempt :
Error: 17832, Severity 20, State 11.
The login packet used to open the connection is structurally invalid; the connection has been closed. Please contact the vendor of the client library. [CLIENT: 172.19.20.122]

I feel the problem is in the configuration of the server's authentication which is requiring something beyond SQL server authentication.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

One other item of note is the "SQL Server Network Configuration (32bit) "on this server is empty -- no "Protocols for MSSQLSERVER" branch like the 64-bit "SQL Server Network Configuration".
This is perfectly normal if all you have is a 64-bit instance on the machine. You would only see items here if you have a 32-bit server.
The odd part is the Native Client Configuration shows up under (32bit) with Client Protocols...
Yes, you always have a 32-bit client, which is to be used with 32-bit applications.
In any case, whether server is 32-bit or 64-bit is immaterial when you connect.
I'm afraid that I have not worked with TDS packets so that I can say what is wrong with this package, and I don't think I will try to read the TDS spec to say what the problem may be. But the issue seems to be that whatever you are using to create
the TDS packets is not doing this fully correctly.

Apple Mail Connection Failure

Suddenly I'm getting an alert that my inbox isn't connecting with several accounts. This just happened today. My mail is, in fact, downloading. Checking the connection doctor my SMTP accounts are working explaining why I'm getting/sending messages. But the 2 google POP accounts show connection failure. When I open my accounts list, the accounts that ARE connecting are not listed (SMTP). What gives and how can I clear the connection error and get the Doctor and Accounts list to be consistent with one another?

when calling our friend, or he calling us, we get a connection failure (error -8) after about 5 seconds. We live in China where our DSL can be slooow and he is calling from the Bahamas (an AirPort connection). Can we do anything to rectify it or is it just an overwhelmed server(s)? Thank you.

If the Log has little details between the Error number and the Binary Images bit at the Bahamas end particularly if they are on Tiger as well it may be due to the ISP blocking the VoIP ports that iChat 3 uses (Port 5060-5063) for their own VoIP service.
Sometimes if it is this they will unblock them if you tell they are blocking an application you were using.
Apple have said that iChat is an VoIP app and it uses the same SIP protocols as these apps and devices use.
Smaller countries with a Telephony company as ISP want to stop losing money to these Devices and apps and block the ports to get people to pay more for the service.

Shared Volume Connection Failures

I have a Mac Powerbook and an iMac Dual Core both running OS X 10.5.6. The iMac is connected via ethernet and the PB via AE and both work great, except they don't talk to each other. Both volumes appear under "shared" in a finder window, but both computers fail to connect and I get an connection failure error message -36.
Through MobileMe, I am able to screen share and that's it.
I took the PB to the local Apple store and was able to connect to their Macs with no problem.
Any help is, of course, greatly appreciated!

I thought it might be an app called Little Snitch, so I disabled it but did not solve the problem. **!
By default snitch does not block local connections.
have you ever used any other firewall tools such as waterroof or have you dabbled with IPFW?
Also in the sharing preferences setup your macs with simple bonjour names, such as 'imac' 'powerbook' etc
Then from your powerbook open your terminal and issue the command
ping -c10 imac.local <press enter>
do you get a response?

Based on the error message "An error occurred within the report server database. This may be due to a connection failure, timeout or low disk condition within the database." it seems the issue is caused by the Report Server catalog databases are
corrupted.
To fix this issue, I suggest that you use the Reporting Services Configuration Manager to recreate the Report Server catalog databases. In addition, please make sure report server instance can connect to the report server database. For more details about Configure
a Report Server Database Connection (SSRS Configuration Manager), please see the following document:

Besides, if the issue is caused by the connection to the SQL Server Reporting Services Report Server catalog database is timeout. Please refer to the following thread:

Mail Connection Failures And EWS (Exchange Web Service) Errors

Hi,
I upgraded from Leopard to Snow Leopard on Friday, and was able to set up my Mail, iCal, and Address Book very quickly and easily. Everything has been working great until today, when I experienced an issue with emails with attachments. The company I work for uses Exchange 2007 hosted on Rackspace.
When sending an email with attachments, I sporadically receive a connection error. This is the same error that I usually get if a server goes offline or I lose my Internet connection - the one where you get the choice to either try again, send later, or use another server to send the email. I will receive this error over and over, and can then send an email with attachments a few minutes later without issue, so it is definitely a sporadic problem. I have not had this issue with emails that did not contain attachments. On at least one occasion, an email with attachments was delivered to the recipient successfully but failed to show up in my Sent Items either in Mail or on the Exchange Server's web mail client.
Rackspace was unable to diagnose the issue, but they have had several reports of the same problem. I looked in the console and saw several errors logged by Mail, all which appeared to happen around the same times that I had the connection failures for the messages with attachments.

Just wanted to report this issue in case this is something that other people are experiencing, and to see if Apple's engineers could look in to it. There is a simple workaround, which is to set up a regular SMTP server as the outgoing mail server for the Exchange account, and to use this instead of the outgoing Exchange server set up by Snow Leopard.

Attendant console error - connection failure .... using server port 1859

Hi we are having issues where the user is unable to login to the attenadnt console
the error is as follows -
A connection failure has occurred attempting to connect to server: using server ort: 1859. Please ensure the server is active, and the logging information is correct.
After reboot everything is OK
the netstat shows the app listening on 1859 is CTSS.exe? Which service does it corelate to in Windows? I can check if that service is running next time. I did not find a CTSS service ot something that sounds similar.
Also, in order to open a TAC Case where do I find the serial number for the Attendant console?

First see if placing the iPod in Recovery Mode will allow a restore.
Next try DFU mode and restore.

I recently purchased Photoshop Touch for use on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. I have uploaded files to Creative Cloud from CS5 version of Photoshop. I can view the file thumbnails on my tablet, but when I go to open them, I get the following error every time:

After creating a contained database, getting a login failure error while trying to connect to it.

After creating a contained database and a user with passowrd under the same database, I tried connecting to the contained database. I entered the server name, login credentials and went to the connection properties tab to select the contained database using
<browse server> option under "connect to database". Here I get the login failure error.
TITLE: Browse Server for Database
Failed to connect to server <servername>\<login>. (Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo)
But when I manually enter the Database name instead of selecting from the <browse server> option the connection gets through.
Is this a Bug ? Has anyone else faced this error?

It's not a bug, it's working as intended. Contained users don't have instance level permissions and cannot "login" to the instance (which is what the "browse" button is attempting). In order for it to work, the database name must be in the connection string
(which with the browse button, it will not be).
Welcome to contained users, they aren't for everyone.
