8.0.14 Incorrect Username error

Since upgrading to 8.0.14 (build 25823) we can no longer connect to Remote Resources correctly. It errors with Incorrect Username and password.
This is connection to a Windows 2012 Connection Broker or a Windows 2008 Connection broker.
Connecting to Windows 2008 RDS Remote Resources (remoteapp) works fine with 8.0.13 and 8.0.14 (non connection broker)
Tested with a client running 8.013 version of Remote Desktop connecting to 2012 connection broker. No problem. Upgraded to 8.0.14 and can no longer connect with "user name or password are incorrect" message. Tested on more than one
client, so doesn't appear to be a localised to one PC issue.

Can you successful connect to remote server directly with IP address\Hostname?
Does this issue occurs during access of Remote Resource?
Can you please check whether there is any gateway conflicting issue for connection to take place? You can try bypassing the gateway option and check whether there is any difference. Apart please collect log with respect to your case for further research.

You should always indicate the line of code where the error occurs. Also, the value of the variables in that line, as that tells you what the problem is.
There are several places where you use '+' instead of '&' with mixed types which can cause this error.
However this line:
Dim orderid As Integer = (ds.Tables(0).Rows(0).Item(0)) + 1
is most likely the problem if you haven't checked first that there is a valid order ID returned from the query. If the table is empty then you should initialise the ID to an arbitrary value instead of trying to calculate it.

Suddenly can't connect to Yahoo email? "Incorrect username or password".

I thought I was past all the email headaches I've had with the X. Its certainly not a Blackberry...lol
Everything has been working fine for the last month and now all of a sudden it wont connect to Yahoo. I've tried removing the account and setting it up again. I've tried every different suggested setting. I got it to work and it synced up all my yahoo email and then an hour later it wouldnt connect again. The error message is "Incorrect username or password". I've entered the correct information.....trust me.
I am at wits end with this phone. The email problems have been going on since the Droid came out. Why hasnt Verizon resolved the problem?
Any suggestions as to what I can do to get my problem correct? I love the phone...but hate the email functionality.

Not a Verizon issue...a Droid issue. My bad...I see I stated verizon in the first post. I meant to say motorola.
You can search the internet and find many people have had the same thing.. I've had lots of problems with bellsouth also....and so have many others. I still cant , and never have been able to, send an attachment with my bellsouth account.. I had a Verizon Blackberry for years and never once had trouble accessing yahoo or bellsouth. I dont want to switch back. I think the Droid is a cool phone......but if I'm paying $30 for a data plan and need to get my emails I expect to get my emails.

I'm using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3. I have an application that i need to deploy manually using an EAR file. I have gone through the process of creating a JAR, WAR, and EAR respectively and deploying each one by itself. I have also unchecked the
Auto Generate and Synchronize weblogic-jdbc.xml Descriptors During Deployment
in the application properties to avoid the error that occurs when trying to install an EAR file. And i added:
-Djps.app.credential.overwrite.allowed=true
to avoid the second error i get when trying to access the database.
When i try to deploy an application with no security everything runs great. However, when i have security in my application i'm not able to make it work. I'm receiving the error:
An Incorrect Username or Password was specified.
I think i have to upload jazn-data users and jazn-data roles in some way and include them in the EAR file. But i can't figure out how.
Can anyone please help?

When you deploy an ear the first time you can migrate the users to the stand alone wls or you add the users and rules to the wls by hand.

X60T: fingerprint logon: Incorrect username and password

I recently changed my Microsoft Account password. Except now I can't login on the X60 Tablet using the fingerprint scanner. It just returns with an error message "Incorrect username or password."
Then it offers a dialog box with "User Credentials" as a title, a Think Vantage fingerprint logo and supplies a user name and an input line for a password.
The username is only my first name not the email address I use to login to my Microsoft account.   It's almost like the Microsoft Account and the Windows User account credentials are not one and the same. I can't find where to change it to harmonise the two.
I am able to tap on my MS account picture and type my password and log into the tablet that way.   Rebooting, re-enrolling my fingerprints have not worked.
Any, ideas on how to fix this?   Thanks in advance.

Incorrect Number error message only started today ...

Had my N900 since July and this is first time I have had major problem..
Really weird...I text my wife everyday and have been doing so today as well..but within the last half hour, when I try to SMS her, I get an "Incorrect Number" error message
I have tried deleteing the conversation and restrarting the phone but problem still there
I can SMS other contacts
I can still dial my wife's number
But for some reason, the SMS for that number is now failing
Any ideas??

Turns out three has disconnected phone by accident. So morale of the story is avoid the three network like the plague if you can! Their customer service well and truly sucks!

Having the exact same problem with connecting ML and Snow Leopard machines to a Windows 8.1 machine. Oddly enough, connecting and copying to/from works perfectly from a Mavericks machine, despite the problems reported about Mavericks regarding the exact opposite. To get rid of any saved login credentials, you may place your mouse pointer on the item you desire to remove and press the 'Del' key of your keyboard.
You may also go to '''Edit -> Preferences -> Security -> Saved Passwords''' and again delete the desired credentials.

I Sugges you to log into your hotmail acc and go to security and password change bit, then you will see two-step verification.. turn that off and you will be able to set it up on your iPhone/iPad or even Mac.

Changed my exchange email on work computer (req. every 3 months), now I can't get past incorrect password error on iPad.

I'm required to change my exchange email password every 3 months on my work computer. Now I can't get past the incorrect email error on my iPad. It won't accept my new or old exchange password and won't let me get past the error to do anything else on my iPad. Hitting cancel doesn't help, the error just comes back a second later, so my iPad is useless for anything else and I can't get to Settings to either enter the new password for the account or delete and re-enter the account. Is there some kind of soft reset I can do? Any other suggestions?

I saw some other posts on the web and completely powered off of the iPad. Then turned it on again and was able to quickly go to Settings and update the password. So this is no longer an issue for me. Just a pain that this is what I'll have to do every three months when I have to change my exchange password again.

Incorrect Password error and odd behavior

I am unable to successfully enter the password on one of the Blackberry devices at my company - I get "incorrect password" even though I have verified multiple ways that the password is correct. We have a BES server and I have done a Set Password and Lock Handheld on the user's account (several times), then removed the battery to do a reset on the device itself. Also, when I connect the device to a computer running the Blackberry Desktop Manager, the newly reset password functions correctly. I have also verified that the keystrokes on the device are correct -- i.e. after entering the password incorrectly (on purpose) several times and being prompted to type the word "blackberry", the password does show correctly on the next password attempt.
The most strange behaviour is that if I enter the correct password, I get the "incorrect password" error but it doesn't seem to count it as a failed attempt, i.e. the next time I try it doesn't show attempt 2 of 5, 3 of 5 etc, it still thinks you are on your first attempt. If I intentionally enter the wrong password, it then increases the count the way it is supposed to.
Has anyone seen these kind of symptoms and know a workaround? I am trying to avoid wiping and resetting this user's handheld if at all possible.

Sorry, there just is not any way around entering the password correctly. No workarounds.
Remember to check if you accidently capitalizing a character, or if the ALT key is despressed to enter a number.

Incorrect password error on local account - can't log in

Yesterday I set-up my father's new Toshiba Satellite C55-B5300. I set the computer up with a local account rather then a Microsoft Live.
After the first restart and trying to log on today, I was unable to access the account. When entering the password I instantly got "The password is incorrect. Try again." I checked to make sure the password was correct. Made sure caps lock was disabled
and used the preview option to see I was typing in correctly. I must have tried enter the password 50 times and then finally it logged in.
Once logged in, using the command prompt, I opened "netplwiz" and unchecked the option for the user to require a password. I then restarted the computer. Upon restart it instantly went to "Welcome" with the loading circle, but quickly came
back with the incorrect password error.
On this attempt to log in, I've tried typing the password over and over. Sometimes it will instantly give me the error and sometimes it goes to the welcome with loading circle before eventually giving me the password error.
I have no idea how I got logged in the first time and now I have no idea how to get back in.

According to your description ,it seems that the machine is stuck in the login interface.
I recommend you to get into the advanced startup option to solve this issue.
To get into the advanced startup option：
Keep press Shift and choose the restart option from the power icon.
1.Choose Automatic Repair to repair the machine
Troubleshoot \Advanced options \Automatic Repair
2.If #1 won`t help ,considering this issue happened after the reinstallation,it may be caused by the corrupt installation.I recommend you to reinstall the machine again .

I'm having the same issue, and it's a real security problem, since I have no way of turning off file sharing for a user account.
The thread discussed the inability to disable SMB file sharing because Lion returned an incorrect password error message for the shared account -- even when the user typed in the correct password. A user named SanderFromH offered a fix at

Is this the only way people know to fix this issue, or has anyone found an easier way? If no, can someone please tell me how to locate this file. When I search spotlight for a directory called dslocal, I find nothing. Can someone please provide step by step instructions for fixing this issue?

Tableadapters giving "Incorrect parameter" error

I am using Visual Studio 2010 and Oracle 11g 11.2.0.1 and ODAC 11.2.0.1.2 tools for VS 2010 on a Windows Server 2008 R2. Previously I had all my tableadapters working without a problem but then I reformatted my HD and even though I installed all the same software I am getting errors. I use the tableadapter query to write the SQL then I test it but I get an incorrect paramter error, however this only happens on number or date columns not char columns. For example this is one of my SQL statements that show the error:
SELECT * FROM Employees WHERE empID = :id (the : tells VS2010 that it is an Oracle paramter)
when I try the next SQL statement everything works fine.
SELECT * FROM Employees WHERE empFName = :fName
As I said before everything worked before I reformatted but not now. I thought it was just me so I have reformatted twice more and each time I get the same error. Anybody have any idea why this has changed.

After playing around with it more, it is just a problem with VS 2010 and its tableadapter wizard. If I run it outside the wizard everything works fine.
