8.0.2 and Melodyne

Just found this...any experiences?
Improvements with Logic Pro 8.0.2
May 21. All current Melodyne versions are fully compatible with the latest update of Apple Logic Pro 8.0.2. Among other improvements the new version is providing a better integration of Melodyne:
• With Logic Pro 8.0.2 our plugin or the MelodyneBridge will now work even at places where there is no audio region on the track or where the underlying region is muted.
• Melodyne is no longer playing at wrong speed when certain time signatures are selected in Logic.
We feel that the already strong team play of Logic Pro and Melodyne is even further improved by the new update in a significant way and we highly recommend the update for all Logic Pro users.

Hi Eddie-
Actually, I've found a new problem with Melodyne and Logic 8.0.2. In 8.0.2, the melodyne plugin does not honor the mute states of underlying regions or tracks. So once one 'transfers' any part of the track to Melodyne, Melodyne will ALWAYS play back this material, even if the region or the track itself is muted! (I used CPU Saving(Slow Response for how track muting works in the arrange window). Even more confusing (but clearly related), if one were to SOLO a particular region or track, ANY material that has been transfered to Melodyne on ANY track will play back, regardless of whether or not those regions were selected for solo.
There are many work arounds: You can mute the actual track itself if you need to, or you can temporarily disable Melodyne. You can also add volume automation (set to 0) to manually mute sections of a track that you don't want to play. But all these work arounds are annoying, and counterintuitive.
What's particularly annoying, is that a song can potentially (and in my case quite frequently) play back completely differently in Logic 8.0.1 than in 8.0.2 (where all KINDS of old, formerly muted material now plays.)
I hope this is not a new feature, but in fact a bug. I've reported this behavior to both Celemony (makers of Melodyne) and Apple.
