I was not able to write to local files with an applet, therefore i've changed the java.policy file and afterwards i could write to any file with any applet in may computer (java.security.AllPermission). The problem is that i've removed all the permissions from the java.policy file and i'm still able to write to local files via applet. How is that possible? Are the changes made to the java.policy file immediate or do I have to restart the computer?
Hope someone can help me.
Did yoou check the problem after restarting computer?
