80 GB HD v. 60 GB HD

Question

i just got a 2 ghz macbook with a 60 gb hd...will i regret getting the smaller hard drive?
it's really just for personal use. i only plan to use my macbook for internet, itunes and a little word processing, but will my hard drive fill up quickly? i'd like to keep this thing for a few years without problem.
whats the difference between ram, ghz, and gb in a hd anyway? maybe thats too broad a question...oh well, just let me know if a 60gb hd is sufficient!!

All right, I see your MacBook is in the mail, so it still a good time to do fresh install while there is no data yet on it.
I assume you are newbie as your post so this post is a little bit more detail.
If you want to refresh install your MacBook, it will give you the opportunity to opt out the language and the program and or demo/trial program that you don't want to use such as quicken, omniliner or games, also you can opt out the printer driver, the other language font, and even x11 if you are not planning to use unix command on it.
When you turn your MacBook from the first time, it will guide you to all the registration and setting process, complete that first, just incase your are fail to do the fresh install, your MacBook at least already registered and your warranty is on their database.
After all of those setting complete, simply insert the installation disk that comes with it, and choose install Mac OS and bundled software.
Choose to install and format to re-format your hard drive and start fresh if you don't know how to pull the utilities out from the menu on the top screen.
Choose custom installation, opt out the one you don't want, example : (i'm at a PC so this list comes from the top of my head, might slightly different typo)

other language font
quicken
Omniliner
Board Game (=no fun)
Garage band demo
iwork trial
ms office trial
front row
and so on
I recommend to keep the iLife (iMovie, iDVD, iTunes, iPhoto, and iWeb) installed, that is the main multimedia programs for Mac by default.
After that, it will guide you to the same setting and registration process, just follow through as before.
After that restart, and voila, 15 minutes could save your 15% of car insurance... I mean of hard disk space (not really 15 minutes, might be more).
If you still paranoid, download monolingal as the first reply suggest, just uncheck the english and I used to uncheck us english as well. But if you are from france/canada (Benoit), and you are using also france as first or second language, uncheck France also.
Don't play with input menu removal, that is not worth (27 mb only) and one false check mark, will make your keyboard stop responding until you do the installation process all over again.
