80 GB Ipod can't play Lost episodes?

I bought the first episode of Lost Season 3, when I try to move it to my Ipod it tells me: "A Tale of Two Cities" was not copied to the Ipod "Musick Man" because it cannot be played on this Ipod. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? I bought two more episodes of Lost that are still downloading just so I could watch them on the Ipod on a big train ride I'll be taking soon...
I hope someone can help, and thanks in advance.

Do you mean crashes?
Try doing a full reset. otherwise it sounds like you might want to walk it into the nearest Apple Store and get an opinion there.

Hi there - I'm subscribing to a number of podcasts in iTunes 11. I would like to play multiple episodes of a podcast one after the other without having to start each one separately, and preferably without having to create a playlist each time. Any ideas?

I do not have an 'My Podcasts' option. Ihave Podcasts and On this IPod
In Podcasts if I click on a podcasts no options display.
Also, why do some of my podcasts now delete automatically after they have been played and some do not.
I have my Settings set to not auto delete
I have to say that Apple seems to screw more things up than it fixes. I would suggest when you include new options you default it to keep it as it was before upgrade so people can choose to use it and not have to reset things not to use it

I'm a 4G itouch user. first when I write the lyrics on my songs, it can't be played. just 3 songs that can be played, when it supposed to play the next song,it skip itself,and after the 3 songs played, it go back to the songs list,50 songs was skiped and can't be play. then when i synced my ipod, there was a text "AN OCCURED ERROR IPOD CANNOT BE SYNCED" or whatever. and today, I was using it and i just left it for a minutes,when I get back, suddenly it can't be on. I didn't do anything, it's just turned off itself. until now it's still off.

- First I would reset the iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

My Ipod can't play music

I explain you my problem : my Ipod starts to play songs, everything is ok. But after few songs, i can't play anymore, I mean it tries to play the songs but without any success and he goes to the next song and so one. And if i want to come back to the main menu, it becomes frozen... I already reseted it! please help! thanks a lot!

Id say a restore will cure this. Restoring an iPod will wipe it clean and then you will use iTunes to load it back up with your music on the PC. You will also use the updater to update the software on the iPod. the latest iPod updater is 2006-03-23 and can be downloaded here http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/

Video on iPod - can't play this on the iPod?

I converted the video to MPEG-4 with videora. it is in iTunes and I can view it there. When I update my iPod it says some of the songs can't play on this iPod. How do I get these 2 small video clips on?

Ipod can't play long mp3 files (eg. non-stop music)

I tried to upload 2 files x 90mb+ (70+ mins) mp3 to my ipod shuffle and some smaller mp3s songs. It's a non-stop songs btw.
When I eject and play my ipod, it only play the first 74mins mp3, the second one, and other smaller mp3s cannot be played when i press the 'next' button.
When I open my USB, I can see all those big+small files inside being categorized nicely. When I open my Rhythmbox, I can only see 1 song/album.
Another scenario is when I format my ipod and upload the smaller mp3s followed by the bigger ones, it can only play my smaller ones but will not play the bigger (long) ones.

Try deauthorizing both of the accounts (from the Store menu in iTunes). Then Restore the iPod, and re-authorize both accounts in iTunes. Then make sure you can play songs from both accounts in iTunes, hook up the iPod and sync them over.

I have discovered that I am able to import 24/96 .wav files into iTunes and convert them to Apple Lossless format at that same resolution. However, I cannot sync them to my ipod. But I can downconvert them to 24/48 .wav files, then convert to Apple Lossless and sync to my ipod fine.

Hi I am having some problems with my I put any headphones or speakers in the headphone jack it only
plays on the left side while the right side stays quiet. Also the headphone jack seems to be looser because I can jiggle the connector of my headphones around when plugged in and if I get it in the right place it start to play in the right but if i let go it stops playing in the right and goes back to the left only
I'm wondering if anyone has found a home solution to this problem or if the Genius Bar could resolve this problem for me.

Did you ever get a solution for this? I'm having the same problem on my iPod Touch, but Apple refuses to service it because they noticed a bump near the volume control when I sent it in. Accidental damage, out of luck, out of $300. It was two months old. I'm no technician, not by a long shot, but to me, bumping it there is a long way away from the headphone jack. Not to mention, it had to have been weeks in between whenever that happened and the headphone jack going out. I'm so furious and disappointed in the experience I've received from them. They've been very nice stonewalling me, but now I'm just annoyed with the thing every day and just want the battery to run out so I can go get some other device. Anyway, what ever happened here?

You have something blocking iTUnes store like a FIrewall, a pop up blocker in your browser or antivirus.
If you using the foxfire browser its causing the block, I have forgot the exact setting, but I do remeber there is one setting in that browser that causes this

IPod can't play long videos

Hey I recently downloaded some concert clips from a band, some of the clips last up to around 7 mins, and some are just standard 3 or 4 mins. The shorter ones play perfectly on the iPod, but when I try to play the longer ones, it freezes about 30 secs in. I can't escape from it by just pushing menu, but I'd like to play these vids on my iPod. Any suggestions?
PS - If it helps, I used the Videora iPod Converter to convert them from Windows Media

IPod can't play purchased muisc after Reset

I just started noticing this in the past few weeks. If my iPod resets, whether by being left idle unattached to my Mac or otherwise, it skips over purchased music. I have to reconnect the iPod to the Mac in order to remedy the problem. It's like the iPod is forgetting it's authorized to play purchased music.

Just one comment to add... all these relocated files will play in QuickTime, so the files are good. It's got to be something about the loss of purchase info in the library.

For a video of mine I have 5 files that make up the whole video, so I watch the 1st segment of the five and when it's over it'll just go back to the list of files on my iPod. Bought a season pass and can't play the episode twice.

Hello I bought a season pass to the Walking Dead. I downloaded the 1st episode to my computer and played it once. The next day i wanted my son to watch it on the computer and it didn't work. My Windows 7 OS is/was updated and ITunes is/was already up to date. Is that generally how it works?

Could you be more specific about the problem than "didn't work"? Does it just not play, do you get any error messages, etc? Was your son attempting to watch the episode via the same Windows user account and same iTunes library as you used?
Without more details about the problem, it's difficult to diagnose the problem and offer suggestions.
