802.11n: How can I force a wireless adapter to primarily associate to a 5Ghz radio and not to the 2.4Ghz one?

I am playing with a Cisco 1142 AP. I have same SSID configured on both dot0 and dot1 interfaces. I have a test laptop and it has a Linksys dual-band wireless adapter. However the card always try to associate on the 2.4GHz. It will only associate with the 5GHz radio when I shut down the dot 0 interface. The laptop is running Windows XP SP3 and I'm using the windows wireless Zero configuration to configure the wireless. The following is the AP's configuration:

Is it something I can control through the AP or it's the laptop/wireless adapter's own behavior so I either need a new card or update it with a new firmware?

Thanks for quick reply! My laptop is just next to the AP. There is nothing but air between the laptop and the AP.
I actually did speed tests on both 2.4 and 5 (with 2.4 disabled of course) and I got pretty much the same result: 46Mbps MAX. I don't know if it's the linksys n card is limiting the capacity of the AP. But for now I just want it to jump on 5GHz instead of 2.4GHz...

Well, thanks a lot. iMovie '11 is similar, but not identical and unfortunately I don't seem to find any "Frame Rate Pop-Up menu" when I generate a new Project. Do not find an "Aspect Ratio Pop-Up" either. Also the help does not speak of this options. I just have to choose a Theme and that's it. Also the "Settings" Menu for the Film does not help.
I also checked the general settings for iMovie:
So I would dare say, there is actually no possibility anymore, to set the output format. And also when I create the output file, there is nothing more than a short list of resolutions.
I do not understand why all options were taken away. I admit, I am a little disappointed.

Did you move to iOS 8 via iTunes? Your photos should all be on your iPhone 5s without any issues even if you updated via WiFi. The update should have no impact on your photos other than to have moved any photos in your former Camera Roll to your Photos. When opening the Photo App you should see Photos and Albums available at the bottom of the screen. You can also look at Settings>General>About and looking down the list your should see the word Photos and a Count at the right. This count should represent all of the photos in your iPhone.

When I create a shortcut to a web page from FireFox to the desktop, how can I force Firefox to open from it when I.E. is default and has to stay that way?

I have a customer that likes to use Firefox browser and does for all they can. Unfortunately they have to also us I.E. with some of their business companies so their browser is set to I.E. by default and must stay that way. Tried changing default for brevity we will just say opened to many other problems. SO, is there a way to create a short cut to the desktop from Firefox and force that shortcut to open with Firefox and not with the default browser IE?

You can create a new Firefox shortcut on the desktop and add the website address after Firefox. For example:
Under the shortcut tab, the target could read:
* "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" "www.google.ca"

802.11n, How can I do this?

If the airport exteme base station I have is set to 5Ghz only, my macbook pro can connect, but none of my older computers using 802.11g. I am wondering if I use the 802.11n feature that is also compatible with b/g, will the connection be slower on my MBP? Basically, is the n/g/b setting (all in one) any slower than the 802.11n (5Ghz Only) setting?

I don't think G operates at 5Ghz. You have to switch the network to 2.4Ghz if you want G rated equipment to connect.
As soon as you connect any G equipment it will slow down the N equipment somewhat - but it should still be faster than G speed. The only way to overcome that it to have an N only network.

How can I get Itunes 7 to burn to my external La Cie burner, and not my internal Pioneer burner, which is behaving unreliably?

Is there a way to reset the default CD burner? I have an internal pioneer burner the DVR105, and an external firewire La Cie burner. The La Cie burner is much newer and will burn properly. However, itunes 7 is trying to burn to the internal DVR105 only, and it keeps giving me errors.
How can I get Itunes to burn to the healthy la Cie? I know my Toast software recognizes it...I have burned DVDs to the La Cie many times before in Toast. Itunes offers me no option to select which burner to use, unlike Toast. My OS is Panther.

Sorry, Itunes is not giving me that dialog. Lemme tell you, it did give me a related dialog earlier today when my La Cie was not connected. Apparently it defaulted back to the Pioneer at that time. I have since reconnected the La Cie, and the system is seeing it, however Itunes won't offer me the option to burn to the La Cie. It just burns to the Pioneer, then gives me an error saying it can't burn the CD.

You can do a search at the bottom of the Special Character palette. Double click on the greek capital letter sigma. You will get a lot of sigmas.

Thanks for the response. My trigger is firing when I update the
table trough a form. Also when the uses go into the oracle apps
and create a new customer they get an error saying
ora-01403 no data found
ora-06512 at'the trigger name' and gives line number
ora-04088 error during execution of trigger.
Note: and I looked trigger it's really ok.
