802.11n: How to connect using this feature?

I am new to Mac and was wondering if anyone can detail or point me to where I can find information on how to use or turn on the 802.11n feature.

Hi!
If you're referring to 802.11n which is the old "draft" standard than there's nothing you'll need to do. The wireless card in your machine and software on the computer is designed to connect to "n" networks as well as b/g networks.
If you're perhaps referring to 802.1 that requires enabling via Network > Advanced > 802.1x

I am wondering if I use the 802.11n feature that is also compatible with b/g, will the connection be slower on my MBP? I don't think G operates at 5Ghz. You have to switch the network to 2.4Ghz if you want G rated equipment to connect.
As soon as you connect any G equipment it will slow down the N equipment somewhat - but it should still be faster than G speed. The only way to overcome that it to have an N only network.

There are ThunderBolt to FireWire adapters.
As far as I know there are no FireWire to USB 3 adapters.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

If you have set Google to be your homepage, that should be the first one to appear. Are you seeing the Firefox home page when you open new tabs? New tabs should be blank by default. The only reason I've seen Firefox open new tabs with Firefox data on it is after an upgrade of the product.

Your phone will need to be unlock in order to send the picture.
i.e. if your using the quick access camera while the phone is lock with the passcode, you will need to unlock the phone first then you can send the pic from your camera roll.

You have the remove these statements before entering an address , and before sending an email or with the email it will stay on the email , google maps will not work.

Yes, this is really a deal breaker for me as you say ... I'm forced to write three times slower than I did on Windows 8, that's horrible (I used to type about 110 words/min).
I'm going to return my Mac and I think I'm going to buy an Asus laptop instead ...
What a shame that Apple does not do anything for this to be configured, I have read other forums and I see that I'm not the only one complaining about that ...

The only way to get passed that and to use that iPhone is to ask the previous owner to remove it from icloud.com in the Find my iPhone section.

If the previous owner is not present
Make sure the device is powered on and connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Then contact the previous owner and ask them to follow these steps to remove the device from their account:
Sign in to their iCloud account at www.icloud.com/find.
Click All Devices to open a list of devices linked to their account, then select the device to be removed.
Click the Erase button to erase all content and settings from the device. When prompted, don't enter a phone number or message. Click Next until the device is erased.
When the erase is complete, click "Remove from Account" to remove the device from the account.
After the device is erased and removed from the account, you can proceed with the device setup process.

Infopath 2010 is installed.
Infopath Form Services is configured and running
State service is running
The site is not locked
The site is not read-only
The webapp does not have mutiple bindings in IIS
The site can be opened in SPD 2010
What else can the problem be?

Have you restarted the computer after you installed InfoPath 2010 ?
You need to restart computer after installing InfoPath .In InfoPath designer ,you can create a SharePoint list template .Have a try here to connect to the specific SharePoint list to see whether the InfoPath designer works well .

This happens when you both use the same Apple ID for iMessage. You can continue to share the same ID for pruchasing from the iTunes & App stores, but you should be using a different ID for iMessage. To fix this you have two choices:
On one of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID (so you are both using a different ID for iMessage); or
On both phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and uncheck the email address(es) shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at". Also uncheck anyone else's phone number, if present.

Does Airport Extreme still function at 802.11ac if an 802.11n device is connected to network?

I have an Airport Extreme and iPhone 6 which both operate on 802.11ac. I have noticed when an 802.11n device (DVD player) is also connected to my network my connection rate on my iPhone 6 drops to 802.11n rather than the faster 802.11ac. All of the literature I have read states that Airport Extreme is capable of transmitting at both 2.4ghz and 5ghz simultaneously (I have no questions about that), however is Airport Extreme incapable of transmitting to both 802.11ac and 802.11n devices simultaneously? If so, why did I spend all that money on a router that boasts 802.11ac technology but slows to 802.11n if an 802.11n device is connected?

It should do both at once.. AC is only on 5ghz and I highly doubt the DVD player is using 5ghz.. however you might need to force the phone to connect to 5ghz.. as it will always join the strongest signal not the best or fastest wireless..
So simply set two wireless names.. eg AE24ghz for the 2.4ghz and AE5ghz for the 5ghz band.. whatever you name it include the freq as it makes it easier to know what is going on.
Then force the phone to join the 5ghz and it should work just fine at AC speed. Even as the DVD is running on 2.4ghz. Of course if bandwidth is consumed by both and your internet is limited it may reduce your speed to well below N wireless even.
