808 Gallery - Blank image placeholders

I have a Nokia PureView 808 with all updates. A few months ago I bought a 64GB memory card, as I knew I would be abroad for a while without being able sync. Following happened:
After inserting memory card, continued taking pics / videos as normal
Got an error: no more space while trying to take a picture
Changed settings to save videos / pictures onto memory card instead of phone memory
Manually transferred 3 videos from the phone memory to the memory card using the 'Files' app
I noticed 3 blank video placeholders in the Gallery app (I guessed it was the 3 I transferred).
I couldn't delete them (no error, but nothing happened)
Since then, when I try and delete images / videos in Gallery I sometimes get an empty placeholder, sometimes the image doesn't get deleted at all.
I synced all content to my PC when I got back.
Opened Gallery and selected all files and pressed delete.
Now I still have about 20 or 30 empty image / video placeholders which I can't get rid of.
I also tried deleting the DCIM folders from the phone memory and the memory card, but it doesn't change anything.
If I take new pictures and try to delete, I still get the same issues.
Apart from a factory reset, is there something I can do to reset / fix the Gallery?

Tap and hold the drive in Files manager should give the option to remove the memory card. Anyway, a shutdown, remove and restart should achieve the same. It seems that the ghosts are not on the memory card then?
There has been cases described earlier in the forum, where simply connecting the phone to Nokia Suite on a PC via USB and browse the images on the phone in Nokia Suite has sorted this out. That's relatively easy to try.
Another solution is to delete a folder in \Private on both the memory card and the phone. These are visible when the phone is connected to a PC, and the PC's file manager is configured to show hidden and system files.

The only time a hard reset (or hacking the phone!) is required, is when the similar database on the C drive is bad.

Why does iphoto show blank image placeholders

I sit my new iPhone4S on the dock i used for iPhone4, and iphoto only shows blank image placeholders, not photos i've taken on the phone. What do i need to do to fix this? It correctly syncs iPhoto pics from my iMac to the phone, but not from the iPhone . Any Help?

Found the answer in this forum. I powered down the iMac and Powered down the iPHone, and then restarted both. and all is well. Hey, that's the advice i give to all my Windows friends - and it worked this time.

Disk Utility: Creating a new blank image receiving "file too large" error.

Hello All!
I'm trying to create a 10GB non-encrypted, non-compressed RW blank image via the disk utility. The DU runs for a few minutes then barfs out "file too large" error. I have over 30GB free on my HDD. I tried with a smaller size of 6GB to no avail. Also tried unsuccessfully to create from a file (about 4 GB). My ultimate goal is to create a case-insensitive image to run an extremely important program needed for high priority work productivity (i.e. WoW). Thanks in advance for any advice! You will be my new best friend if you help me resolve this. =D

Is this to/on your boot drive, or an external drive?
Have you done any Disk/OS maintenance lately?
We might see if there are some big temp files left or such...
How much free space is on the HD, where has all the space gone?

Floating Gallery Widget- Images on a Page

I have a problem with the gallery widget.. it keeps changing its position ON THE PAGE, ie. it 'falls' past the bottom of the page or if positioned with a text box underneath it, it will often 'fall' down with the caption on the pictures covering text in the text box.
It seems to be arbitrary.. it happens sometimes but not all the time on all the gallery widget images. And it does not appear to matter if there is only ONE picture in the gallery widget or multiple images.
My book is very image heavy and my reliance on images to remain in place, in relation to the text is mandatory
Any ideas on why this is happening and if so.. what to do to correct it all?
Is it a bug in the app, or... what? If it is a bug, when can we expect an update to iBooks Author?
I am working in landscape mode and do not bother with the portrait mode.

Photo Gallery w/ Images adjusting size based on Browser size.

I'm new to web design but I'm trying to create a photo gallery with images that dynamically size based on the size of the browser window. Similar to this http://pageduke.com/#/Residential/Colonial%20Revival-Nashville1/1. I know th is a flsh site, but is there a way yo do it in HTML in Dreamweaver, maybe using Spry. I don't know Jquery, but is it possible that way.

Woo is not a gallery. It's just a slider - a panel widget, which should
be adaptive/responsive by default. The problem is that for years, the
typical jQuery plugin writer simply copies stuff done by others so
someone finally realized you don't have to fix a width and a height if
you know how to write a stub script
Galleries are totally different. To do a responsive gallery is not so
easy and the only ones that come remotely close - using open source
scripts - do require an initial width. They will not scale both up and down.
I gusess it depends on what the original poster wants and/or cares about
in terms of efficiencies and functionality.

Bug in iPhoto 6? Blank images in edit and slideshows

Have read a few threads on this topic, and it seems to be widespread. The usual helpful comments are made, but I really don't think that this has anything to do with something that the users are doing (e.g. copying libraries, moving libraries, etc..). Also, it seems to be happening to a number of people in exactly the same way, since iPhoto 6 was launched.
I have been using iPhoto since the beginning, have about 40,000 files in several libraries, and I have never seen anything like this.
The problem is that out of several hundred images in an individual library (uncopied, and not edited at the finder level or anywhere but iPhoto), a few of them are blank when you view them in edit mode or in a slideshow. This seems to be some sort of internal iPhoto corruption, and not related to the photos themselves (same camera and computer hardware that I have been using for years).
Also, the images themselves seem to be OK. When you export them from iPhoto to the desktop and open them in Preview or Photoshop, they are fine, and when you reimport them into iPhoto, they seem OK too.
Obviously, this is a big problem, and even though I can workaround for a single photo, I can't be doing this on an ongoing basis for all of my shots..
Anyone have any ideas? Is there a way to submit this question to Apple directly?

I foolishly tried this on a separate Mac on a different library, that one with 22000 images that I had not edited (since the old iPhoto would just die a slow death on that sized library).
I actually only spent the money for iPhoto 6 (iLife's remainder package did not have any compelling use for me right now) and its ability to handle 25000 images.
Well, it is faster (i.e. it does not go to sleep for 12 minutes) if I click the scroll button but the blank images problem showed up there also. And ALL of those pictures were standard jpgs and not one was from a weird camera or ever modified or otherwise tweaked if that were an excuse for iPhoto 6 misbehaving with some pictures.
VERY annoying and very strange that they would not see this in Beta testing. Assuming they do test. So, folks, if you are planning to buy iLife for iPhoto, be forewarned. I will add this to my TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY blog entries at http://imran.com/media/blog/ so people are aware.

Image Gallery from images in database.

I am developing image gallery from images stored in oracle database.
I am using JQuery ColorBox plugin (http://www.jacklmoore.com/colorbox/example1/) and I need to specify image in href for plugin.
My JSP page (http://localhost:8080/gallery/show_image.jsp?id=1) fetch image from database and show.
I can see image in browser when I run url http://localhost:8080/gallery/show_image.jsp?id=1.
But following not working when JSP page specify in href.

Hard to say when you don't provide anything actually useful other than "its not working". I can only guess that your JSP needs to set a proper content-type. I would investigate using an image servlet in stead of your JSP:

Get Map As XML/Server Image returns blank image on server and errors out on local

In Server, map.getMapAsXML and map.getMapAsServerImage both return blank images though they return a valid url
In local, executing map.getMapAsXML reports the following error:

You may be using Windows with limited functionality as the previous version expired. Did you re-format the drive/partition before you did the "fresh" install if not Windows probably kept the old install information so knew that it was expired previously. Either activate Windows (try typing slui.exe and filling in the product key and activate - then restart the machine) or re-format the drive/partition that Windows is on and re-install Windows again.

Hi all, when I open a New Tab pg all the images are blank - I've tried clicking on the blank images, & dragging a link from the Bookmarks, without success!

I want to achieve at least one of two things: either set New Tabs to open with Google automatically; or at least, to have Google pinned to the New Tab page. (Google is my home page.) When a new page opens, all the images are blank. I've read through the Help pages & tried various things. I've tried dragging Google from the Bookmarks to the New Tab, but this only opens Google. I've tried clicking on the blank images, but nothing happens. I've toggled the blank images off for now, so at least I don't need to look at them. I am doing a university course online, so efficiency is really important to me! Those extra clicks really add up & distract!... Thanks in advance :)

LR4 export creates random blank images

Hi I'm experiencing a strange situation where I export a selection of photos, perhaps 150 of them, and will see random blank images with valid photo metadata but a blank (white) image. In this case 3 of 150 photos are "real" but export as blank. I can export the exact same selection of images using a slightly different export setting and the images are present (a different watermark PNG). What is wrong with LR 4 export ?

Please check the following :
--Export to .PDF and check if you are getting a correct page format. If you are getting then check word page header and page footer settings.
--Also check the default printer and page setup.
--Use no printer option in CR page setup and try to export to word. Also check RTF format.
--Also try to check this is happening only in your system and any other system.

Blank images with iPhoto 6 on OS 10.3.9 on iMac G4

Have installed iPhoto 6 on iMac G4 with OS 10.3.9. The iPhoto Library is (only) on an external (Maxtor) hard drive attached via firewire. Photos are imported automatically into this file. After iPhoto 6 installation, the image files from iPhoto Library are blank with a dotted square in each; the file name is under each blank image. I have been unable to obtain the visual images to these files (about 9000). Another MacBook laptop is able to access the files and the images in iPhoto 6. I have checked all the obvious preferences and would appreciate your help.

Must be in the air. The same happened to all my 7506 images in my library. They went blank, that is. And that's on my Mac Mini CD (Intel) with Tiger 10.4.7. I thought it might be a bug in the new 10.4.7 update, but it can be the same problem and not be related to the OS version. I too have my iPhoto Lib on an external hard drive. (iOmega MiniMax 250). Random Blank Image Field

We are using a c# DataSet with a byte[] field to store a .tiff (one .tiff per each record). We bind this DataSet to a Crystal Report that has this image field for (most of) the report.
When we load more that 5 records, we randomly have blank images displayed in the viewer (and printed with blank images). Oddly, when we hit the viewer refresh we get different pages that are blank.
When we export to .pdf, all images are present in the pdf.
We have converted the .tiff to JPEG, and stored these JPEG images into the DataSet byte[] and get similar behavior; that is, we get random blank pages.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Is this a web or a win app?

Would you mind to implement that when websites attempts to access image data on a canvas, blank image data can be returned?

Issue: privacy (protection)
Additional to cookies and so on, canvas imagedata is used to discover information about computers. Then Tor Browser Bundle (TBB) - Firefox ESR 24.7.0 automatically returns blank image data and shows option to switch it of and else.
Would be nice to have this in Standard Firefox.

Create a gallery of images

Hello, I need to create a gallery of images. I have a jspx that contains a form search and underneath it has a table with all the result and their miniature in one of the columns. I need to be able to generate a gallery of images to show to the turn out of the search and power to change of page. is some component that helps me? How I can do it?

An "QListView" with a model that returns the image as "QPixmap" for "Qt::DecorationRole". Alternatively a "QListWidget" with items that have the image set as "QPixmap" for "Qt::DecorationRole" (by using "QListWidgetItem::setData()")

Get image invoke method gives blank image when I try to capture waveform graph picture

Hello
I am facing problem when try to capture waveform graph picture using invoke method Get image and write JPEG function, some times it gives blank images.I am using these functions inside nested loops.
ObservationsWith reference to attached VI)
(1) Sometimes I found it captures images correctly when i run labview program first time but after that it starts writing blank images.
(2) Whenever i use flat sequence structure for waveform graph and get image node it always gives blank picture which indicates that execution of waveform graph and Get image should not be sequential.
(3) Whenever it gives blank image i checked the image data which is not valid data so it indicates problem is with Get image method or labview program flow(may be race condition between waveform graph and Get image method).
I have attached vi ,please change path name and folder name in which images are being saved.I'm using labview 8.5.1 .

Hi,
I have tried sequence structure.But sometimes it also gives blank images. I have attached new vi which is using flat sequence. Run this vi 7-8 times then you will observe blank images. I don't know why?Any help will be greatly appreciated.
