8310 Password Enabled Locked....How to reset and clear lock to disable password?

My 8310 phone has a lock on the Password Enabled, and I can't clear or change setting to disable password. Also, the security time out is locked, so I can't change the time either. Please help, I want to reset the phone so that it isn't locked and I can disable the security password.

Yes. If you know who's company is was a part of, the BES admistrator can send a default IT policy to device to remove any restrictions from the device. I also found you can try removing the policy yourself. I've never tried this, but here's a link describing how to do so: http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Remove_IT_Policy

  • How to Reset and clear Ipod touch

I have an Ipod Touch that was given to me and I want to reset and clear all content. It is requesting a 4 digit # code.  Any idea how to get that code?

Place the iPod in Recovery mode and then connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes. Restore to factory default/new iPod.

If I recall correctly, I think you have to restart the iPad in order to start all over again. There is no way to backtrack - from what I can remember.
If you can't backtrack, and restarting the iPad doesn't work, you can always activate the iPad using iTunes on your computer.

how to reset and or safe boot ?

    These are quite different things.
    To boot in Safe Mode.
Resetting, as you call it, is either doing a non-destructive reinstallation of OS X or erasing the drive and doing a clean install of OS X.

If the sleep/wake button doesn't work use the home button and if the home button doesn't work it's the other way around, however if both of them don't work charge it with your connector connected with your computer or wall socket and it will turn on. Hope this helps.

The computer still works fine, i just cant enter the BIOS or the UEFI Firmware Settings thing. When pressing F10 at boot up the computer beeps 8 times

    Hi,
Please explain in detail what changes you made in an attempt to change the boot logo.
HP did not post a clear CMOS procedure for your model PC.  Review the below image.  Unplug your PC, hold down the power button for 1 minute. Now open up your PC and move the jumper blocks over to the left per the image for 30 seconds and then move the jumper blocks back. Plug the PC back in and give it go.  If you still get the eight (8) beeps then you could try a ROM image recovery.
Eight (8) beeps in an invalid ROM image.  Review this HP posted article for trying a BIOS recovery.
You might try this HP tools software.  Download the software to a different PC and create the USB 2 bootable tools flash drive. If you can get the flash drive to boot up then look for a firmware management selection.  There is not any documentation available on how to use this function so you are on your own.  HP Support might be able to assist you with a BIOS recovery and/or you might be faced with sending in your PC to an authorized HP repair facility to have the BIOS reflashed.

If I reset and erase my old ipad will I lose my old notes that show up on my new ipad?   I don't think so but I am never sure with ipad.

If you have already transfered everything to your New iPad... then Deleting the Content of the Old iPad is safe to do.

You can change the email address you use as your apple ID. this doesn't mean you have to delete the old email address as email.
When you delete an email from your device, it is only removed from the device, it does not delete your emails or the email account.

  • How to reset and activate an iPad when you are unable to locate the original Apple ID that set it up

My son received an iPad as a gift from someone we don't know.  He got it to a state of needing to be reset.  I am having trouble activating it because it is looking for the original Apple ID that set it up.  I have an Apple ID and was able to reset it but am having issues activating it.  Any ideas???

Sorry, but you can't use that device; only the person who set the lock or Apple can remove it, and Apple will only do so for its original owner(assuming they're alive.)

  • How do I Initialize a button to be enabled when the program start and if pressed then disable and gray it until a certain action is taken then comeback to the enabled state?

    Hi!!!
I'm doing a program with the following buttons: Run, Abort, Repeat and Exit. When the program starts from the first time only Run and Exit button will be enabled and not disabled so the user doesn't press the Abort and Repeat button. The user has to select from a menu bar the test he wants to make then if he presses the Run button a pop up window will come up asking for the serial number and his name, and will comeback to the main program with the entered information. The user now has to press the Run button again to start the test, when the test starts the Abort button now will be enable
d and not disabled, when the test ends the Repeat button will be enabled and disabled. If the user selects new test from the menu bar the whole process will come again. I'm having problems with the menu bar because it has a time-out and when that occurs the program gets crazy. Also I'm not sure about what mechanical action I have to use for the Run. Do I need to count the times the Run button is press so the 2nd time is pressed it will be disabled. Do I need to use a sequential and where I initialize the buttons so the first time they are like I want (Inside or OUtside the while loop that ends with the Exit button) Any help wil be appreciated.

I'm not sure about the menu bar because i've never used them..i tend to go for listboxes instead.
As for the buttons, if you want to wire the button to a local variable then the button must be a switch, otherwise a latch is ok. But remember you will probably need to reset the button at the end of a run (ie. wire a constant through the while loop to the local variable for the switch). To initialize the buttons at the start, wire constants to their locals outside the main execution while loop.
Put the disabling/enabling functions in the parts of the program the button has activated. For example, you say the 2nd time the Run button is pressed you run the 'test', enable the Abort button and want to disable the Run button - put these property nodes into th
    e 'test' sequence/loop.
Sequences are useful to control when you want buttons to be modified. I use them if i cant sequence the order of execution any other way. But try and avoid using multiple frames as it can get confusing if you start hiding code.
If you are still having problems, post an example of your program in no higher than LV 6.0.2 and i will try and adapt it for you.

  • How to reset and change fonts in email boxes?

The script/fonts in my email boxes and some folders is unstable:
    1. Topic headings in all four boxes only shows the top of letters; the text is unreadable.

  • How to reset and wipe your MacBook Pro?

I wanted to restart and completely wipe my MacBook Pro (MD101). I also searched on the internet but couldn't find anything, and I just wanted to be sure whether I was doing the right thing. I have no disk because when I brought my MacBook in store everything was already installed. It would be great if you could tell me how to! Thank you :-) My operating system is OS X Mavericks.

    Back up your system first.
Make sure you have an internet connection (WiFi or ethernet).
Restart your MBP and press/hold the Command+R keys until you see the Apple logo on a grey screen.
At the OS X Utilities menu, open Disk Utility, select your Macintosh HD and click on the Erase button.
Quit Disk Utility and select Reinstall OS X from the OS X Utilities menu. This will download OS X Mavericks from Apple's servers.
After the install is completed and you're at the Setup screens, use Setup to migrate your data and apps back from your back up. Make sure you create the same user account as you had before.

  • How to reset or clear computer.

I'm looking to clear up space on my computer or even reset it to factory settings. Since i have a Macbook Air i do not have any discs to reset. If someone would help that would be great! Thanks!

For information about the Other category in the Storage display, see this support article. If the Storage display seems to be inaccurate, try rebuilding the Spotlight index.
Empty the Trash if you haven't already done so. If you use iPhoto, empty its internal Trash first:
    iPhoto ▹ Empty Trash
Do the same in other applications, such as Aperture, that have an internal Trash feature. Then restart the computer. That will temporarily free up some space.
According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of available space on the startup volume (as shown in the Finder Info window) for normal operation. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of the data. There is little or no performance advantage to having more available space than the minimum Apple recommends. Available storage space that you'll never use is wasted space.
When Time Machine backs up a portable Mac, some of the free space will be used to make local snapshots, which are backup copies of recently deleted files. The space occupied by local snapshots is reported as available by the Finder, and should be considered as such. In the Storage display of System Information, local snapshots are shown as  Backups. The snapshots are automatically deleted when they expire or when free space falls below a certain level. You ordinarily don't need to, and should not, delete local snapshots yourself. If you followed bad advice to disable local snapshots by running a shell command, you may have ended up with a lot of data in the Other category. Ask for instructions in that case.
See this support article for some simple ways to free up storage space.
You can more effectively use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) or GrandPerspective (GP) to explore the volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can also delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one. Note that ODS only works with OS X 10.8 or later. If you're running an older OS version, use GP.
Deleting files inside an iPhoto or Aperture library will corrupt the library. Any changes to a photo library must be made from within the application that created it. The same goes for Mail files.
Proceed further only if the problem isn't solved by the above steps.
ODS or GP can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
    Back up all data now.
If you have more than one user account, make sure you're logged in as an administrator. The administrator account is the one that was created automatically when you first set up the computer.
Install the app you downloaded in the Applications folder as usual. Quit it if it's running.
Triple-click anywhere in the corresponding line of text below on this page to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
    sudo /Applications/OmniDiskSweeper.app/Contents/MacOS/OmniDiskSweeper
    sudo /Applications/GrandPerspective.app/Contents/MacOS/GrandPerspective
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The application window will open, eventually showing all files in all folders, sorted by size. It may take a few minutes for the app to finish scanning.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means. When in doubt, leave it alone or ask for guidance.
When you're done with the app, quit it and also quit Terminal.
