8330 Curve Was constantly rebooting, now stuck on homescreen and dead.

Hi All,
So, for the last several months I have been just dealing with my 8330 rebooting. Fine, I can deal with that because I'm usually at work or school and not using the phone. However, starting yesterday, my phone rebooted and got stuck on the screen that informed me that I had a media card inserted, yadda yadda yadda... So I manually reboted the phone and took out the media card. And then it just got stuck on the home screen. I am able to scroll the ball and it moves on the screen, but I cannot press any buttons--not the letters, call, end, or menu button. I cannot even turn it off without rebooting it!
So, has anybody else encountered this probem? I'm ready to throw this phone at the wall!

same here mine is also a curve 8520,,someone said its because the operating system is outdated, is it writing reload software 552..

I cannot get into Settings! It keeps reading out Slide to Unlock when I try to slide teh arrow to open the fpur digit entry boxes.

I updated imovie, which is now totally different. I tried to import videos from iphotos, but the system is now stuck on "import" and it doesn't include iphotos. Clicking on "close" doesn't work. How do I get out of "import"?

FYI: you should have simply updated the AppleID with new info and continued to use it instead of creating a new one.

HT4623 when trying to do an update for settings I had to change my password. I am now stuck on 'Terms and conditions' it will not let me 'agree' and has locked my Tablet. Pleas help

When trying to do an update for Settings on my iPad I had to change my password. Having done that I am now stuck at 'Terms and Conditions My iPad is locked down it will not let me 'agree' and I can't get out of the procedure.

Happened once to me also following a nasty storm
One of the 2 things worked for me (can't recall which):
1. Power down everything. UNPLUG your apple TV and whatever it's connected to, including the power cord and the HDMI cable (disconnect at both ends) Wait a minute or two.
Reconnect everything: Restart.
2. Totally Reset the Apple TV (this is more work since you'll need to add all your settings)
Whatever worked: My Apple TV resurrected itself (unfortunately can't say the same for my DVD player).
3. Lastly, the timing of the storm could be a cooincidence - this happened to someone else here (no storm invoived) and it turned out to be a temporary outage at Apple. see this: https://discussions.apple.com/message/18027331#18027331
For the future, if you've grown paranoid...
I always unplug my computer for heavy storms (on the advice of a techie at power protection company), But These days, if a storm is really severe (or very extended) I also unplug my AV equipment. the The ATV is chump change compared to the cost of my other components - but I've grown really dependant on it.
Remember: Surge suppressors will take the first hit, but often that's it, their circuitry can then get blown. Also if you do unplug power, Unplug power for everything (very easy by connecting everything to a Surge suppressor) just don't forget RF Cables or ethernet cables (If you leave your router connected).
Personally, I leave my router on, and am willing to rebuy if neccessary, in order to at least access my laptops, and iPad. BUT this means I have to unplug the ethernet cables.
Good luck, doubt your ATV is toasted if anything comes up.

iTunes has to contact Apple during the process of downloading and updating iOS software.

Let the battery fully drain till the iPod turns off.
Then place it in Recovery Mode for a full restore. (Setup as new when done)

Sound was fine but now distorted (sounds overdriven and clipped) on g7-1075dx

Sound suddenly is distorted; sounds like a preamp overdriving a power amp. Pavilion g7-1075dx with ATI High Def audio, IDT High Def CODEC, Windows 7 Home. Same at any level on available volume controls.

the same thing is hapening to be only had my laptop for a month. I plugged in speakers and it was fine, when i took the speakers out the sound is now distored and static from time to time, also one speaker is louder then the other, dont know if thats suppose to be like that.

Glitches happens sometimes. You need to connect the iPot to your computer and restore via iTunes.

Deleted Large Message now stuck in drafts and stopping mail app work at all

I started to create a message containing a lot of photos from iPhoto - realising it was too big (23mb) I deleted it but it started trying to send the message (there was no address) - it then saved it in a new folder Drafts (.mac) since then I haven't been able to receive email at all. I have deleted the 'draft' a number of times and it keeps coming back. When I send a mail it hangs and doesn't send until I force quit and then it sends it but doesn't keep a record in sent items.
When I leave it logged in for a while I get a message saying:
Some actions taken while the account “.Mac” was offline could not be completed online.
I've reconfigured my online offline settings to only save drafts locally but it hasn't helped and instead has deleted all of my offline folders!
HELP!!

That file is in your home folder ~(symbol for home)>library>preferences.
A preference file may (rare, but it happens) become corrupted. OS X rebuilds them as needed. You will need to enter any personal preferences that differ from the default settings.

Galaxy s5 constantly rebooting

My phone started to constantly reboot today, it goes on and then off constantly. Can't access anything or use it. I didn't install anything b/f it happened. I've tried taking the battery out, multiple times, but that's not working.
HELP?

Jdeep, hearting that you are having this issue wit your S5 is concerning. We will work with you to get this issue resolved. Are you able to use the phone to a certain point before it starts rebooting? When was the last time you updated the software on your phone?

If you bought Apple Care + with your iPad take the iPad to an Apple Sptre, pay the minimum charge and get a replacement. If you didn't buy Apple Care + then you'll have to payc a higher fee for a replacement.
But your pad is indeed broken. It doesn't handle being dropped very well.
You might try giving the iPad a good hard slap on the back with your hand to see it the problem can be corrected. Yes, I'm serious.

The figures you mention only make sense on your intranet. Are you still using the same wireless router. The verizon one is somewhat limited as far as max wireless-n performace. For one thing it only has a 2.4 radio. I like many people who wanted wireless-n performance before they even added a wireless-n gigabit router, have my own handling my wireless-n network.
