8330 - desktop doesnt recognize it...

Someone help, please?! I've had my 8330 Curve for a few months now... was a bit frustrating at first because when I plugged it in via USB to my laptop, it wouldn't recognize. There was power and it would charge, but it kept saying device not connected... then one day it seemed to be fine (I have NO idea what I did to it).
It's been fine ever since...
Until yesterday.
I tried sync'ing the device, but it wouldn't recognize it... keeps saying to make sure my device is securely connected or something like that... and then that no device was found.
OS: Windows XP Home Edition 2002
BB Desktop: 4.3
Device: v4.3.0 for 8330

I was typing when you wrote your last post.
Go to OPTIONS _ MEDIA CARD SELECT make sure that Media Card support is on. Encrytion is off. Mass storage mode support is on. Auto enable mass storage when connected is yes.
Please write the total space and free space numbers down and send them along.

Laptop doesnt recognize iPod Nano

I have big problem. That other seems to have also. The computer doesnt recognize the iPod nano. I have a week with it and it worked well for a few days but I think that after upgrading the iTunes it stopped working. Now when I pugged in the USB port it says it has a Massive Storage Devoce like if were a USB Key. Before it used to show an iPod on my computer and on iTunes but now it doesnt. It seems like it assigns a wrong driver to it.
I tryed to do all the steps, resteing, trying other usb ports, restarting the pc, reinstalling the software (iPod and iTunes) and nothing. I even disable the USB power saving option because Im working with a laptop.
All these already donde
1. Reset your iPod.
2. Retry with a different USB port.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Reinstall iPod and iTunes software.
5. Restore your iPod.
I will answer the questions I saw in a related article to see if this info can help to solve my problem.

Yes, and it charges well
Do you have songs on the iPod?
Yes like 2.85 MB that I syncronized in the first week that worked fin

Yes for a week
Does it moubnt on the desktop?
On My computer show is it as a storage device

Nop
Does the iPod display "Do Not Disconnect?"

as i peruse this forum, this problem seems real. my ipod worked for two days, loaded it up, now is unrecognized. swapped usb cables last night, worked for a while....then quit again.

APEX Application URL doesnt recognize parameters (Doesnt work consistently)

I have developed an application which I have published in company's intranet website. There are several links published for same application with different parameters. We are facing issues in publishing parameterized URLs as application is not recongizing the parameter values passed (in internet explorer it doesnt recognize at all, but in mozilla, once redirected if we again select address bar and press Enter it does recongize the parameter without changing URL).
E.g. I have hyperlink in intranet with
http://msi-pa-637.marvell.com:7777/pls/htmldb/f?p=111:101:0::NO::P101_PROJECT_INSTANCE:PRJ3
After clicking on the link it does open application, but report with complete data. now in Mozilla if I select address bar and press enter, it refreshes and does retrieve report with desired parameter. Do you have any clue why it doesnt do in first place? (in internet explorer, this work around doesnt help until you manually change the parameter from PRJ3 to PRJ2 and press enter).

Try force rebooting it, hold down the power and home button for 10 seconds until the apple boot logo comes up. If that doesn't work, try rebooting your computer.

Tried restarting everything and also tried uninstalling itunes and reinstalling it, nothing has worked. Is there a way to fix this or another way to activate the phone?

Try activating it on a different computer, and using a different dock connector to USB cable if possible.
If that doesn't work, it may be a hardware problem. Take it to your Apple Store for testing.

So when you connect the adapter to the macbook the LED light on the adapter doesn't come up as amber or green? I would take the computer and the adapter to an apple store (or authorized apple service provider) to have the computer tested on a known good adapter. That will let you know if you need to replace the adapter or have the computer sent in for repair. If you are within the one year warranty or extended 3 year applecare plan either of these should be covered. (barring any accidental damage to the adapter or computer)
