8620 prints, but then gives error message on Surface Pro 3
This error message has been bothering me for some time. From day one when I print from my Surface Pro 3, I get an error message that my document (doesn't matter what it is) did not print. About 95% of the time, it actually DID print but I get the error message. So whenever I print, I don't actually know if the error message is bogus or not. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling all of the drivers and apps on my surface, but to no avail. Can anyone help me keep my sanity? Here is an example of the error message from just a little bit ago. Notice the error message in the upper right hand corner. And this "test print" did actually print.

when attempting a restore, as suggested, to try and fix a week wifi signal on my iphone 5 I got past the point where the sopftware was extracted from my phone but then an error message appeared saying that the phone could not be restored becase of an unknown error (3014). I have tried about 20 times to make it work after trying a number of suggestions I have seen online. My phone gives me know response accept showing a picture of the cable and the itunes symble an the screen permanently - please help

when i click on an excel or word file in 2007 the program begins to open but then an error message says There was a problem sending the command to the program.
i am using office2007 with windows7 premium home edition. i have checked file associations., all DDE settings. i have even tried this in safe mode. the same thing happens. please note once i see the error. i can then go back to the file click on
it a second time and it WILL open. AND i can open any file if i open excel and and find the file from there. i uninstalled and re-installed office 2007 from scratch. And i checked the compatibility mode (all un-checked) still the problem persisits. this is

Have you try to un-select the Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) setting?
Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Excel Options.
Click Advanced, and then click to clear the Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)
check box in the General area.
Click OK.
If the problem cannot resolve, the Run as administrator may selected.
Go to Office default install location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12.
Right-click EXCEL.EXE > Properties >
Compatibility tab.
Under Privilege Level, uncheck Run this program as an administrator
check box.

Itunes does not recognize Iphone. It asks me to restore or add as new phone each time I sign on. It then attempts to sync, just runs forever. After five tries, it allowed me to upgrade OS, but still refused to complete a sync. I have disabled firewalls. Error message 0xE8004006

When I plug in my iPod Classic, it is visible in My Computer, but iTunes gives an error message saying "The software required for this iPod is not installed corectly. Please reinstall iTunes to install the required software." It started completely randomly and now does it every time. I completely wiped out iTunes and reinstalled it via the intructions from this website, but it is still doing the same thing. Furthermore, when I go to Start, All Programs, the iTunes folder contains no data AND the desktop shortcup does nothing when clicked on. I have to go to Start, Run, and type in itunes.exe in order to run the program. Can anyone tell me what is going on?
Do one or more of the following
> Restart your computer
> Uninstall & Reinstall iTunes
> Reset iDevice (won't erase everything)
> Go to My Computer (windows xp) or Computer (windows vista & 7) and see if iDevice shows
> Restore the iDevice completely (will erase everything)
> Make sure the iTunes and/or iOS firmware is up-to-date.

Can someone tell me whats going wrong when I manually sync my iPod with computer only 2 songs transfer to my iPod then I get error message ' unable to read/write disk ' the 2 songs are transferred to iPod and I have to keep starting the process over again, what can I do?
First, try shutting down (powering off) your computer and resetting the iPod

Start up the computer, and connect the iPod to a direct USB port on the computer, if you have been using a USB hub. If there are other USB devices (other than standard keyboard/mouse) connected, you may want to disconnect them, as a test.
If that does not help, or you already did that, it is possible that the iPod's hard drive has become faulty. It is also possible that the hard drive is OK, but there is data corruption that is making the iPod's storage unreliable.
If the problem is not resolved, you should probably do a Restore on the iPod in iTunes. The Restore button is on the iPod's Summary screen in iTunes. This will erase the iPod, reinstall its software, and set it to default settings. If the cause is data corruption, the Restore (erasing the storage) should fix the problem. However, if the cause is a hardware fault on the hard drive, it will not help; the Restore may not complete successfully, which will leave your iPod inoperable. -
Connecting a printer, but getting an error message
Hi, I'm trying to connect my new printer "Epson sx515w" to my MacBook, using ox 10.4.11.
I get the error message "client-error-request-value-too-long" when I try to add the printer to my printer list. PLease help!There has to be another reason. This system was imaged with a fresh install of Office 2010.
I had similar issues with Presenter 7, and if I am not mistaken, you had to provide me with a *.reg file to allow this to install properly. -
Error Message on Surface Pro 3 Device
Symptom:
When going to Control Panel --> Mail --> Data Files --> Add --> and add any PST file found on shared network folder, I get the following error message: "Windows Shell Common DLL has stopped working. - A problem caused the program to stop
working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
The only option I get is Close program.
Going into Event Viewer --> Windows Logs --> Application, I see the following error logged in (pulled from Details - Friendly View):

Unfortunately, my IT skills are not good enough to troubleshoot this error message.
Troubleshoot Techniques Taken So Far:
I tried to Google similar issues, and couldn't find any resolutions online.
I've ran Command Prompt as Administrator and ran the sfc /scannow command. The results: Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation.
I've also edited my registry by going to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software|Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Profiles\ and deleting all profiles.
I've also ran Windows Updates via Control Panel and downloaded and installed all (including optional) updates.
My Computer:
Surface Pro 3
Operating System: Windows 8.1 Enterprise
Attach to Domain: Yes
Running Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 64-bit
Side notes:
The user who owns this device is currently using their older laptop that they were previously using before getting this Surface Pro 3 as a replacement. The laptop has no issues connecting to the pst data files stored on a shared network drive. It appears
that this issue is specific to this device possibly.

Basically Network Stored PST files are not recommended by Microsoft.
.pst files are not intended as an enterprise network solution. Although it is possible to specify a network directory or a Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path as a storage location for a .pst file, network usage is not meant to be a long-term, continuous-use
method of storing messages in an enterprise environment.

Files download 90% and then give error message
When I download a large file (e.g., video, app) with Firefox 4, the download moves along fine and, when it's almost complete, the download stops and says the source can no longer be found.
I never had this problem with Firefox 3. Sadly, I now have to use IE when I want to download a file. I don't use IE for anything else and I'd prefer to download files from within Firefox again.Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.

As far as I understand, its very unlikely that print of Elements gets impacted by AIR update because AIR update has no relation to print functionality. Its mainly used by Inspirational browser of Photoshop Elements.
If this is the case, solution should be simple. Uninstall AIR and PSE ... and then install PSE from your CD again... Remember to deactivate the serial before uninstalling.... -
C5550 printer gives error message "Turn off power, then on again" with all flashing lights
This printer all of the sudden in constanty jamming up and gives error message "Turn off power, then on again", makes a lot of noise, and does it again. Can't get any printing done! I'm about to throw it out the window. Any suggestions?

I have been looking around trying to find the error that is associated with the blue blinking light above the memory card slots on the lower, right-hand side of the front of the printer. I have found that it is called the photo light; but, in regards to the flashing of it, I can't seem to find what that means.
I recommend removing all memory cards from the slots, unplugging the power and leaving the printer unplugged for a while. Hopefully when you plug it all back in, everything will be ok. If not, let me know. In the meantime I'll keep looking and when I hear back from you I'll hopefully have some more information for you.

Email button error works but gives Error message "10"
I have "attach to email" buttons on my forms. I leave the email address blank for the person to fill in themselves. It works fine but on one form (and one form only) when clicking on the button an error message window comes up - with exclamation mark and the number "10", that's it. The button works (attached the file to an email) but still gives the message. My other forms don't give this message though the buttons appear identical.
What could be causing this?

Thanks in advance, MargRemove the "mailto:" from the Submit tab if you have the script code written in the event.
But usually if you have "mailto:" in the submit tab and while you are preview mode, it will open two email windows. A new email with the subject as "Form Returned"..(This new email error will work only if Acrobat Pro is used by the Designer while previewing the form. If the Designer uses Acrobat Reader while previewing it does not even show any error and simply quits. You can check which one is used while previewing by going to your Windows -> Task Manager and see which EXE is running. For Acrobat Acrobat.EXE and for Reader it will be AcroRd32.EXE).
Try removing the mailto: from the Submit tab and if you still have issues, may be you can send the file to [email protected] , I can have a look at it..
