8700 recvd message that e-mail accounts activated

I have a Blackberry 8700 on T-Mobile. v4.1.0.346
Yesterday I got messages from Activation Server for each of the email accounts already active on the device.
"Congratulations, you have successfully set up (my email address) with your Blackberry (R) device. You should begin receiving new messages in approximately 20 minutes."
Another thing that happened: I have all the accounts hidden and access mail with the Mailbox icon. A previously hidden icon for one of those accounts became visible.
My concern is that there may be another Blackberry device accessing my accounts. This one never left my physical control.
Appreciate your assistance with this problem.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
The activation congratulation messages that you received on your BlackBerry Smartphone mean that email Service Books were re sent to your BlackBerry Smartphone.
Some email icon can become visible again as new service books were received by the BlackBerry Smartphone or due to theme settings.

Hi there ninjajune! We understand the importance of receiving e-mails! Which e-mail account are you having this trouble with? Have you tried to delete the e-mail account and add it back? Ok so you want Apple to address the problem, but yet you don't want to take it to them just in case they can't fix it? What if they can fix it? Complaining here certainly won't fix it.

Activation issues are almost always the result of a device that has been hacked or jailbroken. If that is the case, no support can be provided here.

I get a message that says: your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store. You must switch to the Canadian store be purchasing. I'm close to the border would that cause the switch because it does it automatically. Should I contact my internet provider help.

What store should you be using? If you should be using the Canadian store, try changing it in the settings.

Tap your ID
Tap View Apple ID
Enter your password
Go to country/region in the popup window to change the store

HT1430 receiving message "cannot get mail. account ... is in use on another device"

Phone does not receive email. Instead I receive message "cannot get mail. Account ... is in use on another device." No problem receiving mail on all other devices.

It is not a problem that is solvable by anyone. It is the way POP works. Set the polling time on your computer to 10 minutes or more and it will happen much less frequently. But it will still happen. Any time your phone tries to retrieve mail while your computer is actively retrieving mail you will get that message.
If your ISP does not offer IMAP service there isn't much you can do. Most don't BTW. I run a mail server that supports IMAP, and so does Yahoo, Microsoft, Google and Apple. But a lot of ISPs don't because either they want you to use webmail so they can track your usage or they don't like the fact that IMAP keeps the master copy of all mail on the server, so you will use much more storage than with POP.
One option is to get a gmail account and set it to retrieve your ISP mail. The read your mail with gmail. Google even lets you reply using your ISP's email address as the return address.

Error message when syncing mail accounts...

I recently started getting this error message while syncing on Windows XP running Outlook 2007.....
iTunes could not sync mail accounts to the iPhone "Nick DeGiovine's iPhone" because an error occurred remapping record identifiers.

All of the email addresses are with servers that have presets on the iPhone, and it appears the interaction between what you are syncing, and those presets is where you are having the error.
You may want to consider using some of those presets. For example bellsouth.net's email is now hosted by Yahoo. You can enter the settings for it in a few steps. When adding the account to the iPhone, choose the "Yahoo" presets. Put in the username as your entire @bellsouth.net email address. There will be @yahoo.com visible, but won't affect the functionality of the account, and people you send to won't see the @yahoo.com after your address. The Bellsouth account will now work, and should also get push notifications for your Bellsouth email via Yahoo.
For your GMail account, choosing GMail will configure the outgoing server to work on most networks. The exception is networks that block the majority of ports, such as some work environments.

I have a BB Curve 8520 ... and I'm using my gmail account as mail on my bb - today i changed my gmail password though and can't get any more messages into my gmail account any longer now (WTF did i change my password for ???). I tried to add my gmail account as my bb says that an email address does not currently exists for my bb device ... so when i try to add my gmail account and select 'gmail' in my email setup, add my email address and password it says ! Update failed ...
Anyone any solutions to this problem pls ...

If you select a mailbox, you should get an Edit button (easier to see in landscape mode). Clicking the button will provide you with check circles for the messages. You also get Delete and Move buttons at the bottom. Check the messages you want to move and then navigate to the mailbox you want to drop them into. I think as long as you can navigate to a mailbox you can move the messages to it.
In the Mac Mail application and probably Outlook on the Windows side, you also setup rules to move messages to specific mailboxes. If the mailboxes are stored on the server, then you can have the sorting done on the server and they should appear that way on the iPad. If your later messages do not show up, you may need to have the iPad app pulled down more messages until they are all showing.

I am running Lion and according to software update i am fully up to date.
I added an old sky.com mail account to mail.app then later deleted it.
When i look in preferences of mail, on the account tab only my gmail account (my main account) is listed.
However when i compose a new email i now see a dropdown that says 'from:' and it lists both the gmail and sky accounts - even though the sky one is deleted.
How can i get the sky account removed from this list?

It might be caused by storage "buffering". If so, the space will adjust automatically when another iCloud feature uses the space previously allocated to your deleted email. See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4873.
