8800 bluetooth cannot be enabled
Hi,
I have a blackberry 8800; after updating the OS to ver 4.5 I am unable to start the bluetooth service. I reverted back to OS 4.2 and it was working perfectly, I updated again to OS 4.5 and it is not working again.
Is there any way to fix the problem and activate bluetooth with OS 4.5?

I have a 2008 MacbookPro. Since upgrading to Mavericks, wifi has been a problem.
Never had even one issue on Mountain Lion, Ever.
ALL of the simple "fixes" in this post have been tried.
Bluetooth off... SMC reset... PRAM reset... Networks cleared, reset... More, I can't even rem' them all.
I can connect to random old Routers, but most don't work, Unless... I'm in 'SafeMode'... Then I can connect to Any Router just fine. Of course it connects to the one at the Apple Store, so no way to diagnose there.
I just tried a Brand New Airport Express... Same deal. What's Different about this Express, than at the store?
Is there no way to fix Mavericks? Do I really have to go back to Lion & wait for OS.11?
It's obviously something in the software blocking wifi in reg' boot mode, as it connects fine in SafeMode.
Any ideas left...?

i have an 8700c that i have unlocked after Ebay purchase to run Tmobil as my carrier. I have used my bluetooth in the past to pair with my GPS and the like. however, after a recent DM upgrade (6.0) i noticed that i cannot enable bluetooth at all.
so far i have tried resetting to factory, removing DM 6.0 and going back to 5.0 to no avail. i then did a complete wipe with JL_cmder 1.9.1 and a pretty recent version of OS (4.5.0.110) installed now. and that didn't work.
i also removed the BES IT policy from my device and DM (5.) did the wipe and re-install of 4.5.0.110 again and that hasn't helped either.
so does anyone have any other options at this point for me to try? basically i can go into my bluetooth options, click enable bluetooth, it sits for a second, doesn't do anything and says that bluetooth is disabled.
anyone have any other tips/tricks i can try? is there a way to verify that the bluetooth chip is functioning?

Calendar syncing cannot be enabled because there are no calendars available.
I have iCloud calendars and a google calendar, but iTunes says I have no calendars. Endless loop. How do I break out of this?
I tried this but when I go back to check Sync Calenders I get this message:
"No calendars available. Calendar syncing cannot be enabled because there are no calendars available. Do you want to open Calendar and create a calendar now?"
When I open calenders it show I have two calender On My Mac.
The same applies to Sync Contacts.
I have tired Restore iPod but that did not make any difference. This problem occurs across all logins on my Mac.
I've Reistalled OS X but that did not help either.

My iPod touch bluetooth cannot discover my iPad nor mac air, but it can discover other devices... I don't understand why. My Mac and my iPad can't discover it, as well...
Thanks for this... I actually wanted to pair my iPad with my iPod touch so I can use the keynote remote app in my iPod touch to control my keynote presentations... I was able to control my presentations through wifi... I wanted to use the bluetooth since internet connection is quite slow.. The app tells me I can connect through bluetooth with my iPad but sadly, it can't... I've been trying to pair them but the can't discover each other... :(

Mail cannot be enabled at this time wait a moment and the try turning on mail again
So my icloud and apple store account just stopped accepting my old password.
This included my iphone, apple tv, macbook air and my wife's ipad
I resent my password
Updated all the accounts and all seems to be good with the exception of the OSX Mail client
That seems to be an issue connecting to icloud

Mail gives the following error: mail cannot be enabled at this time wait a moment and the try turning on mail again
I've enable my mail again by adding my icloud again as a separate account to Mail Contacts and Calendars
Weird thing is it only has mail and notes as options.
I know this fix is a temporary hack, and I'd like to get a permanent solution
I've also been checking my credit card linked to the account pretty obsessively to see if theres any issue on that end. No problems so far.
FYI - Running mountain lion and currently in Philadelphia

Hi there
Has anyone experienced this message on their MacBook Air when turning on iCloud?
All the other apps that syncronise across iCloud are fine but when I click on the Notes tick-box, I get a message
"Notes cannot be enabled at this time, please try again later".
Well, I've tried on numerous occasions and deactivated iCloud and reinstalled it, all to no avail.
iCloud works on my other devices and Notes does syncronise between my iphone and ipad.
Any ideas?
Thanks.On your MB Air ... open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Notes then reselect it.
Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync the data.
BTW, you can check iCloud system status anytime > Apple - Support - System Status -
hi my bluetooth cannot see the other bluetooth devices. When it is picked up by a different device tries to pair with it but the pairing does not occur. what can I do apart from throwing this **** thing in the bin?
It isn't supposed to pair with the MacBook. You can use WiFi to connect but not Bluetooth. You can setup a personal HotSpot on the iPhone and connect the MacBook, or setup the MacBook AirPort to create a network and attach the iPhone, and use the USB cable to connect the iPhone to the MacBook for syncing and backup purposes.
The communications are rather limited. -
Error :The user cannot be enabled because the end date is passed.

While running eBusiness HRMS Terminated Reconciliation, OIM picks the Users End Date and if that End Date is passed, the user is Disabled. I think the connector should behave this way. Pls correct me if I am wrong.
But, what's happening is, when I run the eBusiness HRMS Terminated Reconciliation, I am getting the below error and in the recon manager I can see the End Date as earlier date but the user is still Active. It is not changing to Disabled.

If so, try instead updating to iTunes 10.6.3.25. (That supports earlier models of iPhones running iOS 6, even though it can't run the new iPhone 5s.)

cannot re enable the add ons after the new 13.0.1 update ,it shows no update available and all the add-ons are disabled

I can reenable them but FF will disable them on the next startup. I uninstalled version 13 and installed version 12. Problem gone! So I'm still using version 12 and am afraid to update to version 13.
This problem began when I was trying to research and fix a problem (no history all-of-a-sudden) so it probably was something I caused. Can't recall everything I did though.
So: Does the addon problem I described have a solution? If so, I'll update my version 12 to version 13. Please respond..... -

As far as the *.avi files are concerned you could download an open source app called VideoLAN: VLC. You will find that it can handle just about every audio and video format available.

I checked the SharePoint logs and the error message in there is the exact same. Nothing is in the windows application error logs.
I looked at what it was trying to do before the error and it failed on a task list. I tried deleting the task list and trying again and it bombed on a document library next.
I did some googling and found a hotfix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/955594 I tried to install it, but I have SP2 installed and therefore it said that the expected version was off. Im assuming since I have SP2 and that hotfix is dated in 08 that it should be included in SP2 anyways.
Does anyone have an idea on what is going on and how to fix it? I am trying to migrate this sub site to a new server and set it up as a new site collection.Good you caught that ... somethings would have shut down at the 90day mark...
Would you humor me and tell me what this does.. Note I changed the order of a few things, added a .bak to the filename and also added versions.
If this errors would go into the Windows Event Viewer and look for anything SharePoint related, then look at security logs and see if there are any errors.

My IPhone 5s Bluetooth cannot locate Jam 2 wireless speakers. Searches endlessly...need help
The issue with me was that my iPad was synced to the Bluetooth device, and I was trying to sync my iPhone.
The blue tooth device (in my case speakers) cannot be synced with two devices at the same time.
So I turned off the Bluetooth in my iPad then paired my iPhone . Obviously the Bluetooth speakers can have only one source.
Now both my iPad and iPhones are paired with the Bluetooth speakers, but I can only use I at a time.
I did not have this issue with my car stereo as it accepts hierarchy. IPhone a primary, iPad as secondary and so on.

Bluetooth will not enable(6230i)

I have a new 6230i and when I go to the Bluetooth menu and select
Bluetooth->On
it goes back to the Bluetooth menu with bluetooth set to 'Off'.
If I turn off the phone and turn back on and try it again, Bluetooth->On, I get the message:
"Switching on Bluetooth"
but it goes back to the Bluetooth menu with bluetooth set to 'Off'.
I have tried the same with a 6230 and Bluetooth switches on everytime.
Does it sound like my new 6230i is broke? Any ideas?
Are there any firmware upgrades which could fix this?No didnt drop the phone but if it was damaged by a drop i would have expected something else to be damaged. I have used the USB cable, IrDA, camera and normal phone operation and they seem to be ok, just the bluetooth will not enable. This leads me to think it is a problem from the factory.
First thing i tried was taking out the battery as you suggested. I will return to the store and see what they think but is there a Nokia tech support?
