880GMA-E35 does not detect PCI ethernet adapter

Mainboard 880GMA-E35 does not detect PCI ethernet adapter RealTek RTL8139D.
What is the reason?
I did tests with the operating systems Windows XP 32-bit and Windows 7 64-bit
my Computer:
MSI 880GMA-E35
AMD Athlon II X2 240, 2800 MHz
2 X 4GB Kingston module memory 1066 MHz
XFX Radeon HD 4670

In your manual (page 27) it shows 'Auto Disable DRAM/PCI Frequency.. 'Enabled' turns 'off' clocks in the PCI slot.
Just wondering in an attempt to help.
Good Luck

  • Win XP does not detect onboard ethernet card

    Hi,
    i have bought a used T41 (2373-tg5) and installed XP Pro SP3.
I have installed all the drivers and everything is working fine. The only problem i have, is the fact, that XP does not detect my onboard 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN card. It does not show up in the device manager and manually searching for new hardware is to no use.
I have also looked at the BIOS config, the onboard ethernet card is listed as being "enabled". I am sure, there was a device marked with a yellow exclamation mark in the device manager named "ethernet adapter" once. I am not sure, wether this was the WLAN card, i have successfully installed a driver for...it is completely gone now though...
Is this some weird XP thing? I thought, i had read something like this once, but cannot remember.

    cnhoff, wilkommen im Forum,
when you enter BIOS the MAC address of the internal LAN card should be shown at the bottom, is it showing a number or is it all zeros? All zeros means that there is no LAN installed which would mean in your case a new mainboard or using a pcmcia LAN card.
    Grüße

  • Ricoh PCIe SDXC/MMC Host Controller does not detect SD cards

    Hi,
My Lenovo Thinkpad X230 has an integrated 4-in-1 SD card reader (SD/SDHC/SDXCMMC), but it does not detect any card I insert. The two cards I have are working correctly under my sister's MacBook. My kernel version is 3.6.10. Here's the output of a few commands :

I didn't find any solution after searching on Google, but it seems there are a few other people experiencing the same problem as me. I haven't actively tried anything yet.

    Thank you!

In case someone else has the same problem, there's actually a package in the AUR that fixes the problem : https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ricoh-e823-fix/
Install it and enables it with systemd and it should work correctly!

  • Arch does not detect /dev/sdb

    HI everybody,
Like the title says, Arch does not detect a second SATA hard drive I have installed on my computer.
I've searched around Google and the forums and I've doesn't found any helpfull tip.
The Arch installation is fresh, I just made it tonight, and cfdisk (during the installation) had recogniced the drive.
I've posted this here because I'm new on Arch, coming from Ubuntu and Fedora distros and I feel like a real Newbie

    Thanks for the help!

I had the drive connected to a eSATA port, but I pluged it to a ordinary SATA port, and the result is the same.
    The configuration on the BIOS:
    ATA/IDE Mode -> Native
    Configure Storage as -> IDE
It doesn't show more valuable information except for the location of any drive on any SATA port.
dmesg output, it can be useful for someone:

  • Photo Downloader does not detect Thunderbolt connection. Help!

I am using Bridge CS5.1 on MacBook OSX 10.8.3. I bought a Seagate Thunderbolt Adapter which works with 2.5" eSATA hard drives (Seagate Backup Plus). Instead of connecting a 2.5" eSATA to this Thunderbolt Adapter to my Mac, I am doubling this thunderbolt connection as a CF card reader by swapping the eSATA portable drive with a CF to eSATA Adapter instead. Photo Downloader does not detect anything connected through thunderbolt!?
When the CF card or portable drive is connected via the TB adapter, it appears in Bridge and Finder. The Canon's Image Browser (Memory Card Utility) detects only the CF card (not the portable drive) as a Camera and downloads the images from the CF card via the thunderbolt adapter with no issues. I would prefer Bridge to download the images due how the folder names are created by Bridge. (I have been using Bridge for few years now and dont want to change the naming convention. Can't seem to find a way for Canon to name it exactly the same as Bridge. It does YYYY_MM_DD amd I cant get rid of the underscores in Canon's software)
How can I get Photo Downloader (File: Get Photos from Camera...) on Bridge CS5.1 to detect the Thunderbolt connection as a Camera?
Excuse my messy desk, here's a pic of the set up with the CF card plugged into the CF to eSATA adapter : and onto the Seagate TB Adapter. and the TB cable goes into the Mac

It works perfectly well. My issue is getting Adobe Bridge 5.1 to recognise the CF card via thunderbolt in photo downloader.
Despite having bought a MacPro just a few months ago I still have no Thunderbolt connection so i can't confirm this.
I do know Photodownloader has not changed a bit since it was presented long time ago and definitively needs a lot of improvement.
It is very possible that Photodownloader is not capable detecting thunderbolt connections and Canon software doing so does almost proof APDL does not do so.
You can try to dive in the user library (by default hidden, use menu Go and press option to reveal it) and in the folder preferences find and delete the Photodownloader plist file manual.
    restart photodownloader and try again.
The other option is to use a USB 3.0 or Firewire (both also pretty fast).
The third option is to use Bridge itself for renaming the files you imported manual. Using the sort order creation date and batch rename use the option for shot date (yymmdd-number or other info) and either organize with stacks or create folders.
There is also a nice app (not free but cheap called 'big mean folder machine" from the same team that offers 'A better finder rename'.
Both offer plenty of options that makes life easier, such as producing folders with specific naming and order in no time

  • Imac does not detect external vga display

Please help with connecting external vga display to an imac 21.5'', late 2012, OS X 10.8.5 via Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter.
I have connected an external monitor (Fujitsu Siemens) to the thunderbolt port of the imac using a Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter. The imac does not detect the external monitor. I have followed all instructions and suggestions I could find at Apple Support Communities without success.
The monitor is in perfectly good working order as it has no problem connecting and performing flawlessly with a dell windows laptop. The imac, connected via the Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter to the D-Sub connector of a Samsung smart TV, also worked perfectly.
To add insult to injury, occasionally, when restarting the iMac with the external vga display connected and powered on, the iMac screen starts intermittently turning blue for a brief second or so and resuming back to normal. The frequency of 'blueing' is once in 2-3 seconds. This particular rather disturbing problem, luckily ceases when the external display is switched off.
Any advice and help with resolving the above connection problems will be gratefully appreciated.
    Thank you

I am having the same issue.  Hope Apple can fix this soon!!!

  • Wi-Fi does not detect on Satellite L40-139

    Hello!
I have a problem with Wi-Fi connection on Toshiba L40-139 under Windows XP Professional
I have all drivers for this model from this site.
Also Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG: 9.0.4.39 adapter was installed.
But during the installation there was an error "Couldn't install driver".
Wi-fi card does not detect by device manager
When I try connect to Wi-Fi network I have a message that there isn't any Wi-Fi devices on my notebook.
    Help, please!

    Hi
As Im not mistaken the L40-139 PSL40E supports the Atheros 802.11g WLan card.
And therefore you should use and install the Atheros Wlan card driver!!!
Additionally you should perform a BIOS update.
According to some postings here in the forum, the BIOS update helps to solve some WLan issues.
Check it out & good luck
    Bye

  • AirPort does not detect networks, unless another network connection is made

I've just done a clean install of OS 10.5 to see if this problem was software related, but it persists.
AirPort does not detect any network the computer is near (tested in various locations) normally, but when connecting to a network via Ethernet or to another Mac via Firewire to use network sharing, it can update and load web pages as normal. A strange quirk I've noticed though, whenever connecting with ethernet or firewire, AirPort will suddenly detect the network! It still can't quite connect to WiFi properly though. While still connected through firewire or ethernet, it will have no connectivity through a self-assigned IP. If it is disconnected from ethernet and firewire again, the wireless network will still show up in a re-scan for networks but it will fail to connect.
I've opened the computer up to ensure that the airport extreme card is seated properly as well, and that the antenna cable is secured properly.
Any ideas as to what the issue is? Should I look into replacing the AirPort Extreme card?

Got no answer on my original post, so I went ahead with ordering a replacement AirPort card on eBay (item #130487488014). Once installed, the iMac was able to detect and connect to networks normally... but was still unable to load any web pages. I tried on secured and unsecured networks as I did previously, and plugging directly into the router and into my Macbook Pro via firewire, with the same results as before. Safari loads pages when connected with an ethernet or firewire cable, but will not load pages on WiFi alone. I can attempt to access a router setup page via WiFi, and am prompted for a username/password, but the page itself never manages to load.
Any clues as to what may be going on here?!

  • HH5 Does not detect my Technomate Box

I've recently switched from a HH3 to a HH5, and now that I have set everything up, the HH5 does not detect a connection to my Technomate satellite box via Ethernet, this was not the problem with my HH3.
Is there any way I can force a connection? Why has the HH5 blocked and detected no connection only to my Technomate Box, when it allows connection to all my other devices such as my PS4, YouView, and 2 Computers?
    Help?!
    Thanks.

What's the ip address are you getting on the main computer ?

  • [SOLVED] Kernel over 3.14.4-1 does not detect my hardware proper

    Hello everyone,
i've a little problem with any kernel higher then 3.14.4-1.. After a long time, i bootet up my PC and updatet Arch. There where nearly 350 package updates. Everything went fine, except for the kernel update.
Updating to kernel 3.16.3-1 broke nearly everything on my system. Arch boots but does not detect any hardware like the graphics card or the network adapter. I've read journalctl but can't find any usefull hints or a point do begin my error searching.
Maybe someone of you can give me a useful hint…
Here is a link to the logfile: http://p.tkolb.de/SpGKcAQjxk1A.txt

  • MAX not detecting PCI 6259 connected to BNC 2120

I have the DAQmx driver 9.0.2
I have the card (PCI 6259) in a windows XP machine
The breakout box is a BNC 2120
MAX does not detect any devices and interfaces.
    Thanks for any help,
    Fmiles

Does your device show up in Device Manager under data acquisition devices?  If not than it is not being recognized by the computer and you should try moving PCI slots on the card.  If it does not show up under data acquisition devices, right click on it and select uninstall, restart the computer and it should install on its own again.
Was the card installed during the DAQmx install, try reseating the card.
Make sure the NI Device Loader Service is started in Control panel»Administration»Services.  It should be set to started and automatic.
Does DAQmx 9.0.2 appear under Software in the Configuration Pane of Measurement and Automation Explorer, if not, it may not have installed correctly.

  • Spotify Connect - Does not detect Denon Ceol N9

Hi, I have installed the spotify app (using premium) on my HTC one m8 (Android 5). While I am able to detect and play music to my wondows 7 laptop, it does not list my Denon Ceol N9 network player, and I am unable to stream music to my stereo using spotify connect. I have followed the (very short) instructions listed here: http://manuals.denon.com/RCDN9/EU/EN/ZHOBSYxvrwcwjl.php on how to use Spotify Connect on my Denon, but unsuccessfully so far. The units are all connected to the same wifi, but the Denon Ceol N9 is not lised in the spotify app. Any tips on what I am doing wrong? Some settings I need to enable to make this work? Help would be much appreciated :)  - Petter

  • Satellite Pro C660-1NQ does not detect WLan network

    Hi Guys,
We have a Toshiba Satellite Pro C660-1NQ here which does not detect the wireless network at all,
I have checked device manager and the wireless card does not show in here.
I tried scanning for new hardware, but nothing was found. I tried turning the wireless off/on with the function and F8 keys but still not showing in device manager or finding any new hardware.....
Any ideas as to what i can try next?
    Cheers,
    Ash

    Hi
It seems that the notebook would support the Atheros 802.11agn Wlan card.
Usually the Atheros Wlan card should be listed in device manager under in the menu Network Adapters.
If its not listed then I recommend installing the WLAN driver which can be downloaded here:
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads
Choose the Atheros Wireless LAN Adapter Windows 7 (32/64) 9.2.0.419.0 or newer
Hope this helps to detect the Wlan chip!!!

  • My apple tv does not detect wireless router sitting next to it

I have my Apple TV sitting just few feet away from my router.  It does not detect my router.  So I added the IP addresses manually.  Under Apple TV Network settings, it still says Ethernet.  What can I do to get AppleTV to detect my Wireless rouer?

Did you unplug the ethernet from AppleTv not just the router? I've found even a non-terminated cable plugged in disables wifi.
Daft as it sounds, sometimes if the router is too close it can cause communication issues over wifi.
If ethernet was working, why change to wifi?
Can you confirm ethernet does still work and that AppleTV is not just 'stuck' in ethernet mode.
Unplugging was a good test as that often corrects issues.
It is possible your AppleTV software is somehow corrupted - restore via itunes using microUSB to eliminate that possibility, or that AppleTV hardware has failed and is 'stuck' thinking ethernet is connected.
