88x extensions can't access outgoing trunk
Hi all,
Our ucs560 is working fine, today I needed to add a few new users, our internal user extensions use the range 820 thru 867 or so. I added the new extensions 880-884. Internal calls back and forth between these new extensions and other existing extensions (820-867) work fine. Incoming DID calls also route just fine to these new 880-883 ext's.
However from an 880-883 extension, I'm not able to press 9 and dial out, when dialing 9, then a 1+10 digit outside #, I just get a dial tone instead of the system accessing our t1 trunk and dialing out like all other existing ext's do.
Have I missed something simple somewhere? I've added lots of new users and extensions before with no problem. Could it be due to the fact that these new extensions use the format 88x ?
Outgoing calls accessing the trunk is the only issue, feel like I've just missed something simple.
Thanks,
Chris
Based on a suggestion from another forum, think I've found the issue here, these new ext's don't have outgoing cid's specifially assigned like all other ext's do. So that could be answer here. Will confirm tomm am.

Dreamweaver CS5.5, can't access extensions
I use several DW extensions that have worked fine until recently. Today, I opened DWCS5.5 only to notice that, while all of my extensions are still installed (as viewed in "Extension Manager"), I can't access any of them from my DW screen. These extensions had been successfully accessed in the past using the menus as instructed. However, today, none of these extensions appear on the menu interface.
Help please.

Upgrading for SW CS6 to Creative Cloud can I access my installed extensions
I am upgrading form DW CS 6 and wnat to retain access to my sites and extensions will this work automatically or do I have to re install extensions and import my site settings
CC is a completely new suite. It's the same as moving from CS5 to CS6.
You will need to use the CC Extension Manager for CC and the CS6 Extension Manager for CS6 because they don't speak the same language.
http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/
Important note: MXP type extensions are not supported in Extension Manager CC. The MXP format has been replaced by the ZXP extension format. An MXP extension can be converted to a ZXP extension using the “Convert MXP Extension To ZXP” tool which can be found in the Tools menu in Extension Manager for CS6.

However using native file manager app on playbook, I can only see pictures, videos, music, office, pdf files of the downloaded ones. Other unsupported files are MISSING !!! There are also some zipped files I downloaded. I am sure. But I can not access them !!!
I tried another way using dsktop manager, but I can not reach the blackberry balance files by PC.
I tried some file manager apps from the market but no solution.
I need that unsupported files, is there a way to reach them ?tarumar wrote:

Extended network, now can ONLY access extension...?
I extended the wireless range of my Time Capsule using an Airport Express. The Express is working perfectly in it's location, however my devices can no longer access the same network name when in range of the Time Capsule. They can only access when in the Airport Express area.
Why would this be?Some devices need the proverbial kick... turn off the wireless and turn it back on again..
If that doesn't work then take more control of the network.. set different names for the 2.4ghz and 5ghz band.. set the channels.. make sure new names are short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric. eg TC24ghz and TC5ghz. You will be able then to choose which band you will to use for link between the TC and the Express. -
Can't access several websites after last security update
Hello,
After upgrading both my Macbook Air mid 2011 and iMac 2008 (with SSD) both running Mountain Lion 10.8.4 to the last security fix, I can't access from any of those two computers a variety of websites, for example:
www.opennicproject.org
www.gentoo-el.org
www.adslgr.com
These are only three. Almost half of Google's results are blocked. Using the terminal utility I am able to resolv some of them but not actually 'ping' them. I get no ping replies. I can access all these websites from other computers or devices (iPhone/iPad/Ubuntu desktop/WindowsXP laptop) on the same LAN. This problem exists only in the 2 macs which are up-to-date. I am sure that this problem is related to latest security update I did a couple of days ago, to both computers.
I'd like to know if anyone who have all patches installed up to the latest OSX version (mountain lion 10.8.4) has the same issues and can ping/resolv/access these websites.
Note that although I can't access these websites directly using any direct network connection, I can access them using TOR browser bundle for mac, which means that something is going on at a computer level.
I have checked so far:
- Applicationn Apple's firewall is not creating the problem (disabled/enabled all)
- ipfw/PF is not running with any ruleset
- LittleSnitch blocks just a couple of annoying outgoing connections. Nothing there (I disabled/enabeld it, same thing).
- Other computers access the websites/ping them/etc.
- I can access websites using TOR.
NOTE: It's not just 3 websites, it's something like 1 out of 3 DuckDuckGo links.
Ideas and thoughts are welcomed!
Best Regards,
PAFrom the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. That will revert its settings to the defaults. -

Can not access the media card files Blackberry 8310 - HELP
Can not access the media card files Blackberry 8310.
I had a battery drain problem. The unit would only last 16 hours before completely drained. Purchased a new battery with the same result. I figured that I should try a complete reset so I did a hard wipe. Once that was done and I loaded the unit back up and returned online, the battery drain problem was resolved but now I can not access the media card.
Here are the messages:
“A media card has been inserted that contains encrypted content which will be unaccessible by this device”
I can see the files. I have transferred them to my PC via the SD card but I can not open them. Here are the settings:
Media card support – ON
Encryption Mode: - Security Password & Device
Encrypt Media Files – YES
Mass Storage Mode Support – OFF
Please note – I can not change the encryption mode since it is set by policy
Security Options – General Settings – Content Protection – Disabled
The version of Desktop Manage I am using is 4.2.1.8. When I try to use the Media Manager to move the files, I get an error message and can’t move the file. If I access the file on the card and try to display it, I get:
Unable to display file /media card/ pictures/ing000000xx.jpg.rem
Here is what I have tried (from the advice on this board):
1) Read the files directly off the media card – No good
2) Create a “new” folder on the media card and move a file into it then try to read it – No good
3) Email the file then read it – No good
4) Reset Encryption mode to off then try – Can’t do it – IT Policy setting
5) Be sure that the password was set the same as before the wipe (setting is password & device) – Can’t do it – The Blackberry prevents me from using an old password.
So I think I can’t read the files because I can’t replicate the encryption key. Could that be right? My problem is that I do not understand why this would be the case. It is still the same device and since it knows what the old password was (because it would prevent me from using it again), why would it not generate a key to access the files?
All I am trying to get off the card are pictures on my 6 year old … some are priceless. Can someone help me do this? One would think that this should not be this hard but from all the postings I have found, it seems that it is. And yes, shame on me for not moving the files before I did the reset (THAT will never happen again!) but this being unrecoverable is unconscionable given how many seem to find themselves in this situation.
Thanks for any help you can offer! Not sure why you couldn't see them using mass storage mode. Did you have the pics stored on your media card? Try going to media-menu-explore-media card-blackberry-pictures See what the extension is on your pics. If any have the extension such as .jpg.rem they are encrypted.

Ever since I got the last two updates for Firefox I can't access most .mil sites like ako or even the us army library Europe site. These sites use to come up as untrusted sites that I just accepted and continued life. However now it goes straight to server not found page. I know the site links and bookmarks are good because they are what I used to use. I've read some of the other help situations that are similar and I can see some of the old certificates in the advanced options up nothing I've done in there had changed anything.
To try to distinguish between a change in Firefox and a problem in your settings, could you do a three-minute experiment?
'''Create a new Firefox profile'''
A new profile will have your system-installed plugins (e.g., Flash) and extensions (e.g., security suite toolbars), but no themes, other extensions, or other customizations. It also should have completely fresh settings databases and a fresh cache folder.
Exit Firefox and start up in the Profile Manager using Start > search box (or Run):
firefox.exe -P
''Be careful not to delete anything in this dialog.''
Any time you want to switch profiles, exit Firefox and return to this dialog.
Click the Create Profile button, assign a name like Sept9, and skip the option to change the folder location. Then start Firefox in the new profile you created.
Do the sites work any differently?
When returning to the Profile Manager, you might be tempted to use the Delete Profile button. But... it's a bit too easy to accidentally delete your "real" profile, so I recommend resisting the temptation. If you do want to clean up later, I suggest making a backup of all your profiles first in case something were to go wrong. -
I can't access Adobe Color Themes in Illustrator
Hi,
I've dowloaded the latest Illustrator from CC and when I click on Windows on the menu bar I don't see Extensions like I see in Photoshop. I can't access the Adobe Color Themes like I can in Photoshop. This same issue applies with InDesign. Do I need to reinstall Illustrator and InDesign?
Thank you,
RobertKuler was the extension. It is now renamed to Color and not an extension anymore. You can access the Color themes from the Window menu or from the Swatches panel (click the little icon at the bottom of the panel).

Can't access youtube on Mac, no error message - just blank page
I can't access youtube in firefox. There is no error message. I'm using leaopard on a mac. When I type in youtube.com, nothing happens, the page is completely blank. youtube works in safari. other websites work fine. Works in safari, just not firefox.
I tried many of the solutions offered for not being able to access youtube but no solution so far. I have uninstalled flash and realplayer and disabled noscript and some plug-ins and still nothing. If I try to access youtube without these items, I don't even get a page saying that I need the flash plug-in, it's just blank. I have re-installed an older version of flash, 11.2. flash was an still is working fine on other sites, I have re-installed firefox. I have tried things like using html5, nothing works. I have read through these help pages and found nothing that helps so far.
Please help, I have been trying to figure this out for a week and am at my wits end. I need to be able to access youtube in firefox.Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":

My OSX 10.7.5 iMac (late 2011) will connect to my university's wireless network and thinks it's connected to the internet, but cannot resolve any DNS - and cannot actually access the internet on any browser or internet-utilising app. My university has 2 networks, a regular wifi one and an eduroam one. I have the same problem on both networks. My MacBook, running Snow Leopard, and my iPad (latest software) both connect to both networks just fine.
Because it's my university's network, i can't reset my router or anything like that. I'm in halls. I don't think it's a network issue, because all my other devices are fine.
I've searched high and low on these forums but haven't found anyone having exactly the same problem as me - I've heard of odd few minutes of people losing their connections in this manner, but my computer's been down now for hours and nothing. I've restarted it many times, even once in "Recovery Mode" and I'm getting nothing. I've followed instructions to flush my DNS cache, renew DHCP leases, I've tried manually inputting various DNSes I've found (eg the 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 google ones), none of which have worked.
Using terminal, I can't ping either an http:// domain, or an IP address. Both get "timed out" as a response. I can't access the internet on any browser (chrome, safari, firefox), my google mail notifier, Skype, or my twitter app. Or anything else.
I'm relatively computer literate, but I'm not particularly code-savvy, so I'd really appreciate it if I could get some step-by step help on here, bearing in mind what I've already tried. I'm really worried, because it all seems to have happened completely out of the blue. Last time I updated was some time a couple weeks ago; I update whenever my software update beeps at me.
Thanks.

1.Power Cycle
Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly.
It will take a while.
Restart the computer.
Start up in Safe Mode.

2. Turn off Extensions, if any.
Safari > Preferences > Extensions
3. Turn off proxies, if selected.
System Preference > Network > Advanced > Proxies Tab
Under "Select Protocol", uncheck any box if selected.
Click "OK" then "Apply"
4. Uninstall anti-virus software, if any. -
Can I access Terminal from Single User Mode?
So I have an early 2011 MBP that is having the graphics switiching problem that's been well documented in some other threads recently:
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4766577?start=120&tstart=0
http://appleinsider.com/articles/13/10/14/apples-2011-macbook-pro-lineup-sufferi ng-from-sporadic-gpu-failures
Basically, I cannot boot because it goes to a white screen after the apple logo.
I found these terminal commands that will shut off the discrete graphics card so that only the integrated graphics will run, which would be an ok solution because I mainly use the computer for Recording/Mixing etc with Logic Pro, so I don't really need the more powerful graphics.
http://forums.appleinsider.com/t/160161/apples-2011-macbook-pro-lineup-suffering -from-sporadic-gpu-failures/80#post_2420378
But I of course can't access Terminal because I can't get past startup. Is there a way to get to terminal and/or enter these commands while in Single User Mode? Are you referring to these
You can move the kext out with these commands:
> mkdir DisabledExtensions
> cd /System/Library/Extensions
> sudo mv ATIRadeonX****.kext ~/DisabledExtensions (replace asterisks with your model's numbers)
> sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions
If so there is nothing to take, the commands are physically removing system files. Once those files are moved there is no way for them to go back unless you put them back or you do an install of the OS.
But I am surprised that Safe mode does not work for you. In Safe mode the system only uses the onboard graphics. Are you certain you ere booted into Safe mode? When in Safe mode the words Safe Boot will appear in red letters at the top of the login screen. Did you see that? I ask because it is easy to mistime the Shift key press during boot and not actually get into Safe mode.
Perhaps you problem something different? -
Can't Access files in file manager
I can't access any of the files on my nokia 5530 memory card through the file manager. The music player still displays and plays all the music files which are on the memory card. But image gallery doesn't display memory card pictures anymore. And I can view all the folders on the memory card when I connect the phone to my pc using pc suite.Any solutions?thanks in advance.
Scan your PC with latest updated Antivirus.
[That virus will hide your important folders (and duplicate them with extension name) which symbian os will not show in its filemanager or gellary (any hidden files or folder)]
after that connect your phone to pc in mass storage mode and scan your meory card
Set your windows explorer to show hidden files and folders
explore your memory card and goto the property of your folders( where your datas are stored)
uncheck Hidden and click on apply
somtimes it becomes unable to unchck Hidden checkbox
in such a situation,
open that folder and copy necessary files
delete the folder and create new one with same name
paste the recently copied files back to the folder
now your phone should read datas on your memory card in file manager or gellary too.
if applications installed on memory card are readily available for reinstallation and your datas are successfully backed up, best way to get rid of that problem is to format memory card either in phone or pc -
Can't access my account just after login
I can't access my account during login.
Here is what happen :
My mac starts up correctly. I have the account selection screen but when I use my account, during login, I see a blue screen and it logs out automatically.
With another account, everything is fine ! So it seems to come from the account confuguration ...
I checked my disk available space and I have 30 GB free ...
I tried to startup in safemode and I have the same problem (neither better or worse).
I think it may comes from my startup items but I don't know how to disable them (but it seems to be disables anyway in safemode ...)
Does anybody have any clue what's happening to my mac ?
Thanks in advance.
