The first steps to try are the resets. Try performing a SIM card reset first. If that doesn't improve the situation then try restoring the defaults by pressing the button under the back cover.
When the resets do not work then you need to consider evaluating your environment for interference. 4G LTE is only going to be strong in a full service 4G LTE area. Anything marked as 4G LTE extended is provided on a best effort basis. Check the coverage maps to confirm what you should have access to according to VZW.
After you know what you are working with the next step is to perform site surveys and discover where the connection problems start and end. You should perform multiple site surveys and build a map to know if the problem is isolated to one area or not. Id suggest starting inside your home, outside your home, up the road, in the middle of town and the next town over. This should give you a good sampling of the various towers and environmental interference issues you are exposed to.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Airport does not want to connect to a weaker signal
my airport has decided that it does not want to connect to a weaker signal. at home if i am next to the wireless source my computer connects just fine, but if i go downstairs to my room the signal strength starts dropping and then will disconnect all together and i am unable to connect again. the signal strength is strong enough to connect because my computer connected just fine before and i tried it with my brothers computer (he has a 15in macbook pro) and it connects just fine. any suggestions? thanks

i don't think it matters but i am not connecting to a AP base station at home. We use our iMac for our wireless internet. but even if i am not at home i cant connect to any wireless signal while others around me are connecting to a free service in town. (i used to be able to connect to the same service in town to which i can not anymore)
i did notice that when i open my MBP and wake it form sleep i am able to connect for a couple of min, then the signal gets weaker and weaker until it disconnects and i am not able to connect again.

In the last 2 days my Ipad does not want to connect to the internet via my home wifi's i have not done anything different so cany understand why this is happeniong. it just wont connect. Its a good job i have my 3g connection otherwise it would be worthless. i have tried resetting my wifi connections on my pad and unplugging the modem and resetting that. nothing is working. i have read several forums about this and seems to be an issue with a lot of ipads, i have read what you can do, however i dont think i should have to reset this, reset that, change this and change that when clearly its an apple issue.
can someone provide me with any simple way of fixing this issue. or can apple spend a little bit of their millions of dollars of profit to fix this little proble.Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. How do I update an older IPAD? When I go to update it gives me a message regarding it cannot connect to the apple server, yet internet service is okay.

I connect my Macbook 13" to my thunderbolt to display on my HD television but it keeps asking for a KeyChain password for "user-hp". My key keychain password is nothing but it does not want to accept and not display my screen to the Television. Suggestion

Thanks for replying and apologies for my tardiness in responding. I have just completed a re-creation of my web page using CSS/HTML rather than XML/XSLT and now I find that when saving in MHT format the watermark/background image is saved, which is nice, but trying to save it as 'webpage complete' under 'save as' in the browser still does not work. (For those who are new to Firefox, MHT files are not supported by the browser, but using the FF extention UnMHT one can open such files and save web documents as MHT files, meaning no accompanying folder is required to properly view the file.) -

I bought a new imac running Loin with Office 2011. I am the only mac in the office and the Server we use to access emails runs exchange 2003 and my IT person says the imac is not compatible with the server. The server does not want to let me access using any email software other than webmail access through our website. It looks as though 2011 is not compatible with 2003 per some searches online, but what are some options I have to gain full access again? I purchased parallels in hopes that this my help and I am able to use remote desktop connection to log on to server but can not drag and drop files I need. There is a shared drive on that Server we all use to exchange files.
The two main issues are gaining access to my email again and ability to drag and drop files from mac to pc. I hope this is enough info to get some solutions.
PS - IT person says my iMac's IP is what his server does not understand so that is why I can not login.Office 2011 is not compatbile with Exchange 2003.

I do not know what happened, all of a sudden Firefox does not want to work anymore. Had been conected to audible. Retried about 4 times.... no luck had to force quit every time. The three Firefox app. into garbage, emptied garbage and redownloaded new version from Firefox. Reinstalled but same thing happened again... no connection.
What can I do, I like Firefox better than Safari, had it for years on my Mac.

I think it might be the problem with one of your plugins.
Try to uninstall the webbrowser AND remove the storage from Firefox in your user-account (Linux: /home/username/.mozilla). You can check the list of installed Add-Ons in Firefox under "Extras => Add-ons" or by pressing Shift + Strg + A (Linux). -
I bought my iphone 5 days ago. I have been extremly careful with the iphone. Today I was making calls it was working great; When I wanted to make another call, the iphone does not want to turn on at all, I tried to see if by connecting it to the power source will turn on and also tired by using the itunes.. the funny thing it works when i want to syncronize.. but i still cant turn the iphone on.
nope still not working. I tired to resotre the phone via itunes. the screen goes with the apple logo.. but while its preparing iphone restore.. an error comes out saying cannot resotre phone.

I have no clue what you mean by "all the different methods." Here are my suggestions.
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. -

If ti has been connected to a known-good charger/cable/outlet, and left to charge for at least 30 minutes, then try this. Disconnect it from the charger. Press & hold the Home button & SleepWake buttons firmly for up to 1 minute, watching for an Apple logo to appear. If it does, then let go of the buttons and let the device reboot. If it does not, then contact Apple for support options. Your device may have a hardware failure and need to be serviced/replaced.
