8iR3; EJB lookup; "Unable to Activate" error
Hi,
I have a session EJB which deploys and runs when I don't include the interface "EJBBusiness" in the Remote interface.
However, when I do I get :
"Unable to activate : The class has dependencies which cannot be resolved: oracle.aurora.ejb.gen.plannergy_library_SQLHelper.EjbHome_SQLHelperHome in <SYS>"
(as well as a stack dump which I haven't included).
I can see this class when I view the SYS schema's Java Sources in DBA Studio. I also have an Entity EJB which includes the interface "EJBBusiness" in the Remote interface, and it run's fine.
Any thoughts?

I think it is due to the fact that I am writing a 'business interface' for my EJB, then including it in my deployment package.
This technique is recommended in O'Reilly's 'Enterprise Java Beans' 2nd Edition p344 to ensure the bean interface and the bean match their signature.
I don't get the 'class bits' error when I write EJB from the wizard, but when I add a business interface it happens first deploy, and is OK for the second one.
Hope this helps anyone else who is getting this behaviour, I guess we'll have to see what happens in OC4J/Orion.

I have a strange situation going on at the moment. Every time I wish to deploy an EJB to 8iR3, the JDeveloper Message View shows the following (after app specific messages):

If I then just redeploy without changing a thing, it deploys fine and everything works.
I haven't seen a post on this forum like this, is there a configuration problem at my end?

Got an (unlocked) iphone 4s from US and tried activating in India but it throws an error saying 'unable to activate bcos the activation server cannot be reached' ..I tried connecting to itunes through my laptop but it does not detect my iphone..pls help

As kb1951 states, unless this phone was purchased directly from Apple, it is not officially unlocked. In the US, only Apple sells officially unlocked iPhones. The message you got generally means your phone was hacked to unlock it...jailbroken...Apple's servers have detected such & are preventing your phone from activating...there's nothing wrong with the activation servers.
You'll need a sim card from the carrier your phone is locked to in order to activate it. If you don't know what carrier, you'll have to call AppleCare in the US to determine this info. Be aware, US carriers will not authorize official unlocking unless you are a customer that used the phone on their network. Thus, there is most likely no way for you to get this phone officially unlocked.

CS6 perpetual Mac is version 13.0.6 Windows is version 13.0.1.3 Subscription cloud version is 13.1.2. If you have a cloud subscription and a perpetual licence you would not be able to have both version install at the same time on same machine. What does your Creative Cloud desktop application show and if you start CS6 if the flash screen shows or you can get to menu Help>About Photoshop what version i shown 13.0.6 or 13.0.1.3 or 13.1.2?

Pay attention to differences in power connection depending on whether or not you have AppleTV2 or AppleTV 3.
Also some microUSB leads don't seem to work - try another if you can. Disconnect superfluous USB device/hubs too if possible.

Is your iPhone a Factory Unlocked iPhone or Locked to a Service Provider ?
Have you tried Restoring your iPhone by taking your device in Recovery Mode ?

I tried to fix my problem using Re: Timeout while activating OSB session advices, but cleaning $DOMAINHOME\osb\config\sessions didn't resolve it.
Have any ideas?I'm sorry, i just get local admin privilege on the computer with WebLogic&OSB&other and i start WebLogic with this privilege. Old error don't reproduce now.
But when i activate session in OSB, window activation doesn't close and time is going infinitely.

EJB lookup on Remote Server or different domain fails

My ABC.ear j2eee application is deployed on domain2 and its iiop port is 33703.In domain1 i have xyz.war (web application) and it's IIOP port is 3700 .In xyz.war i am having CallEJB.jsp file.In this Jsp file i want to lookup an EJB Service called PaymentEJB(JNDI Name is ejb/PaymentEJB).

I found the solution for this issue.
To lookup the EJB applications in web component,we should not set any thing in the Initial Context.i.e the lookup should be
InitialContext initContext=new InitialContext();
Object objref = initContext.lookup("java:comp/env/ejb/"+ejbName_);
This will get you the Home object of the EJB you are looking.
In your web.xml you should have the entry like below.(Just replace the ejbname which you are looking for)

<ejb-ref-type>Session</ejb-ref-type>

I am unable to activate Genius since upgrading to Windows 7. Prior with Vista and iTunes 9 Genius worked fine. Upgrade to Win7 and I cannot activate Genius.
It goes through step 1 fine then goes into step 2. It pops up an error message after about a minute that says "We could not complete your iTunes store request. The network connection timed out. Make sure your network connections are correct and your network connection is active, then try again".
Well, I have been trying again later for about a month all with the same error.
I have rebuilt the library--no luck.
I CAN access and download new content from the iTunes store. I just cannot activate genius.

Last successful store access was 2010-01-30 15:12:04.I finally managed to fix this problem by removing groups of songs from my library until Genius successfully started. I started removing artists beginning with A and by the time I got down to D Genius started to work. This made me think that it was related to a specific song. However, I gradually added all of the tracks back in to my library and Genius continued to update OK!! I now have all of the same songs in the library and Genius is working fine. I have over 12000 songs in my library so it may be a bug related to the number of tracks. The downside to removing the tracks (but keeping the files) is that you lose the playcount and you have to add them to your playlists again.

Increased limit of ‘AbnormalProcessTerminationCount’ of SPUserCodeService via Powershell
We have tried all possible workarounds from the following MSDN reference:

For resolving your issue , you can do as the followings:
1. Logged into the Web Server with the Timer Service Account.
2. Ran the powershell command to check the SID of the account running the spucworkerprocessproxy.exe:
$(Get-SPManagedAccount -Identity "THE SERVICE ACCOUNT").Sid.Value
3. Checked the registry :
HKEY_USERS\[SID OF THE SERVICE ACCOUNT]\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WinTrust\Trust Providers\Software Publishing\State
4. Changed the value 0x00023c00 to 0x00023e00

Unable to activate Transfer Structure for Generated Datasource in BW3.5

We have a scenario where the data needs to moved from DSO A to Cube B
we have clicked the Export datasource and created 8(ODS A)
when created IP for this it gave us all selection in selection screen but we required only 3 Characters

Delete all the DS and try creating from starting, to export DS, with correct selections, and then Activate the Transfer Structure..

Unable to activate Creative Suite 2 in Windows 7.
Error message states: "The serial number you provided is not valid. Please check your serial number and re-enter it." I do have an active serial number and when talking to the tech, he stated that it did activate but my computer shows it isn't valid? I was told that Creative Suite 2 is not compatible with Windows 7. The program is 4 years old and was very expensive.
