9.0.4 to 9.2.2

i have iMac G3 450Mhz DV model (Summer 2000) with 20 GB + 320 RAM + Mac OS 9.0.4. how update 9.0.4 to 9.2.2

Hi, iDVD -
so does that mean i wouldnt have to pay for a cd of mac os 9?
That depends.
All OS 9 downloads are updaters only; they are not full-install versions. Each download requires a bootable specified version of OS 9 to already be present on the drive, which it can then update. So...
• if you already have an OS 9 Install CD suitable for use on your Mac, or a bootable version of OS 9 already on your hard drive, then you do not need to purchase one - install that version (if it is not already installed), then use the download updates as needed or wanted to update that version.
• if you do not already have an OS 9 Install CD suitable for use on your Mac, or a bootable version of OS 9 already on your hard drive, then you would need to purchase a CD of appropriate version for your machine. Again, install that version, then use the download updates as needed or wanted to update that version.
Note that the OS 9 download updates will not run in OSX - they will run only when the machine is booted to OS 9.
