9.2.1 update never actually finishes and my ipod is stuck too!

Ok so here is my situation: It's been a little while since i've updated my itunes and ipod touch ( i mean like maybe a couple of months not years or anything) and I went to apple.com to get the new download i did everything it asked me to do then it re-started my computer and all but then when i went to sync my ipod it says : my ipod touch only works with an itunes library 9.2 or higher(or something like that) So now i'm confused because i thought i had already downloaded and installed itunes 9.2.1 So i checked for updates and it said 9.2.1 is available so i downloaded and installed again but when i went to sync again it said the same thing and now my ipod won't work! its just a black screen and it has a usb cable pointing the the itunes logo on it. I've tried re-starting it and all but i get the same screen! PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO! sorry that was long

i suggest you do the following:
your profile suggests you're running 10.6.2. if that's the case, download and run the [_*Mac OS X v10.6.4 combo update*_|http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1048] (repair permissions before running the updater, restart, and repair permissions again after running it).
when done, run software update from the  menu and install any updates offered.
if the problem persists, try *removing iTunes completely* (click here and follow the instructions), then reinstall it using the standalone installer from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/.

Thank you for your suggestion. I downloaded and ran all 3 of the scans from Malwarebytes; and although it did find and I did delete items from my computer, (so it was still helpful) it did not fix the problem I'm having with Flash.
I have run malware, spyware and anti-virus scans. I've cleared my cache's and checked for anything in my programs as well as checked my Applications list in Firefox.
I'm completely at a loss for what to do!

Wcan't update. Download finishes and then window informs disk is corrupted and so update unsuccessful. I have warning that existing system is no longer protected and am getting lots of dodgy emails. Need to update asap.

Have attempted to INSTALL / update to 3.6 and to 4.
Both unsuccessful.
Download occur and complete but then message stating "corrupt disk" and so installation can not progress.

How can i fix an update issue between iTunes and my iPod Touch

I've recently found my iPod Touch's cable that plugs into the usb drive of my computer. I Downloaded the latest version of iTunes onto my computer, but my ipod hasnt been updated in a while, and when i plug it in, an error pops up in itunes saying I need to unlock my ipod touch in order to sync it. I cannot do this, because when the ipod is turned on/plugged in the only thing that shows up is the image of the ipod cables usb end with an arrow pointing to the itunes logo. How can i resolve this issue and fix my ipod touch?

You need to place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore the iPod via iTunes on its syncing computer. For recovery mode see:

My screen is white and the Ipod is stuck

The screen on my Ipod touch (4th gen) is white, and the device is stuck. I can't even reset (home and on/off button togheter), I Tunes didn't see the device. What can I do?

With iPhoto i am getting an error message saying the the library needs updating but never actually does and i can't get my original library aback!!

How are you connected to the drive?
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

You may have no choice but to reinstall Lion on top of itself. If you can do a backup prior to reinstalling, do that first.
Then you can boot your system and hold down the COMMAND-R keys at the boot chime to enter the Recovery HD and select Reinstall Mac OS X.

My update does'nt finish, and I can't shut down!

bought my n95 today, charged the battery for 10 hours, and then after talking to some friends decided to dowload the latest software.
Well, I did everything right. And suddenly my phone shut down, with fullcharged battery, and I just did as it said, and took out the battery, and pressed "retry",
and now the updating of the software has stopped. it's not updating!
I'm afraid to disconnect the cable, because the updates says that if I do do, my phone may stop working. And I can't shut down the update-window.. PLESE HELP ME SOMEONE? I just don't have time to bring my new phone in for service, so it HAS TO WORK! heeeeelp, PLEASE?

Unfortunately that is just the worst time to get "phone recovery" message and it is highly likely that you will now have to visit a Nokia Care Point to have the software re-installed. Once the USB connection has been broken, Nokia Software Updater fails to recognize the attached device.
I am not saying that it would have made the slightest difference here, but you are advised in FAQ to NSU to plug-in mains charger when updating phone software.

HT1476 It "charges" on the proper device and never actually charges and is now dead.

warranty will cover it. Did you try only by changing the power adapter or did you change both cable and power adapter?

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Started update for my iphone and now it's stuck in recovery mode

My computer wont recognize it. unistalled itunes and reinstalled it. Tried all the walkthroughs but none worked. Rebooted the computer, no difference.
