Put my son's visa gift card on his iPhone and it kept telling me billing didn't match. Finally figured out had to register for the billing addy then it took it the 5the time. It charged his visa $9.41 ALL 5 times. Anyone know why? Never had this happen before.

Hello. I have tried to use my visa gift card to purchase something from apple. However, the security code is not present, which I am aware of. When I typed in the correct security code, I discovered that there was not enough money in the card to complete the purchase anyway. Now, whenever I attempt to update my applications on my iPhone 3Gs, I am directed to the billing information from the previous purchase that did not work. How do I cancel the purchase and continue to update my applications?

This happens for some apps. If you have a computer try to buy on it. Otherwise you will have to enter a credit card or some from of billing.

Since this will be a recurring monthly charge, looks like they don't accept gift cards.

You cannot use the U.S itunes store from the U.K.
Send the card back to someone in the U.S who can use it.

Sorry but no. The credit available from a gift card cannot be transferred between accounts.

The Interface that connects to the Internet, needs to be drug to the top of System Preferences>Network>Show:>Network Port Configurations and checked ON.
If using Wifi/Airport...
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.

The thief can restore it and use it as their own. You will never know or be able to tell what they do with it.

It's been a while but it should work on a Mac because Macs can read Windows formatted devices. Otherwise, you can perform a restore operation to return it to the Mac format. If you go to support.apple.com/manuals/ you can find a copy of the user manual for the model you have in which this is all explained.

Visa Gift Card Dilema

I heard that for a pre paid Visa Gift Card to work that you must use the same adress that it was first bought with but in my case I bought it at one adress and then I moved so when I went to buy something on ebay it didnt work. Can somebody help me? Or show me a loophole of some sort.
