well for many of us with a estimated delivery time of 4:30 pm today in central time. I know counting down wont help it get here faster but **bleep** i've been sick the last few days and the only thing keeping me from sleeping is fed ex not updating. i know thats sad but **bleep** it i want my phone

the bad part is my wife is anxious too, and agrees that if they were to update a little more or better for that matter then we wouldn't be so hungry for info. when it says

This error generally indicates a hardware failure. Bring the phone to Apple for evaluation.

Somebody told me I should have let it discharged and then to fully charge, but I didn't do it, my iphone is working very well, the battery too but I'm worried if the battery lifespan is gonna get worsen soon if I didn't abide by the rules and procedures of battery charging.
I had problems on my previous iPhone 4s, it died because I didn't replaced the battery with a new one because my battery never worked well and I never knew it , the battery used to overheat my iPhone and it caused to damage my processor completely to death. Apple does not fix the iPhone 4S, they replace the phone. If not covered by warranty, called an out of warranty exchange. Cost is US $199. Make an appointment at any Apple store.
Be aware, Apple does not sell iPhone parts, thus there is no legitimate source for genuine parts.

I am facing the same problem. I jsut purchase LR 5 upgrade, and am trying to download it. However, it says it takes 8 hours to download?? I have sufficient disk space, so why is this taking so long? It also says there is approx 504 MB for LR 5...

I have a macbook pro and have just updated my itunes to the 10.5, it has been sitting on the 'software update' box for 2 and a half hours and only has about 3mm of space left that is not blue. Is it normal to take this long downloading this update? Help!

I have been sitting looking at the blue line almost finished for over 2 hours. It says Writing files... underneath and Installing 11 items above the blue box. What should i do? You have 10.6 on that machine, I suggest you stick with it for performance, third party hardware and software reasons as long as possible.
Consider 10.8 (not 10.7) when it's released, because 10.7 and 10.8 will require a new investment in software and newer third party hardware as it requires newer drivers the old machines won't have. (forced upgrade because of software, really nice of them)

Far as your Safari problem do these things until it's resolved:
1: Software Update fully under the Apple menu.
2: Check the status of your plug-ins and update (works for all browsers) also install Firefox and see if your problems continue. You should always have at least two browsers on the machine just in case one fails.

IPhone losing 2 and a half hours in the clock

I have an iPhone 4 plus an iPhone 3G and this morning when I woke up both clocks on the iPhones had lost 2 hours 10 minutes. Now both phones have current firmware and have been set on auto time update. Now I have took them off the auto update but has anyone else had the same problem and is there a solution.

That is a little the short side. I would expect 4-5 hours of video but that was for iOS 7. iOS 8 seems to drain the battery faster.

Three and a half hours on hold - no answer

When we swapped to BT, we were told we could keep our Tiscali e-mail addresses. Mine works but my wife's doesn't. I was put on hold for 3 hours 31 minutes to speak to a technical member of staff but had to give up when my mobile battery failed. Is this a deliberate policy? Does BT not understand that the peak calling time for home customers is likely to be between 8pm and 11pm? perhaps they oight to spend less on the Olympics and more on staff!

I have the same problem - updates are stuck on loading, and the app store is now also doing the same. I've tried resetting, but it hasn't made any difference.
I haven't been able to load iTunes onto my computer - 2 hours on the phone with Apple, as well as 4 hours of my IT guy's time (which I paid for) and no one could help. So going through iTunes on the computer is not an option for me.
Is there any way of cancelling or resetting the apps just with the phone?

I assume you meant iCal rather than iTunes? Yes, iCal the time zone is correct. The delayed alarms only happen sporadically. Since I posted this message, the problem stopped happening every day at the same time, but it still happens occasionally with no rhyme or reason as to when.
