9 pin svideo cable for TV OUT

Hi,
I've got an MSI GeForce 4 MX 440 VGA card, which has a 9 pin svideo connector on it. Unfortunately I don't have the svideo adapter cable. Does anyone know where I can get one of these cables?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
David.

Sounds like a VIVO enabled card.
The 9 pins are both input and output, you need the splitter that was shipped with the card:

  • Cable for TV out?

Does anyone know if the cable for the iPod Video will work with the iPhone?

What iPod cable are you using? An old one for the Video iPods or a new one for the iPod classic/Nano? The new iPods only work with the new Apple branded video cables. I came here looking to see if the iPhone works with the new cords - I imagine they do, but they are not listed as compatible on the store. Any one know for sure?

  • Does ATV2 need a particular cable for Audio out?

    Hi
I'm attempting to run ATV2 to a Sony STR-DH520 Receiver and my TV
TV is fine on the HDMI but audio out via an optical cable is failing
Do I need a particular type of cable? - I picked up a cambridge audio D321 in the store where I got the reciever
    Thanks

Also check your settings for your receiver to ensure it is set for the audio from it's optical audio input. Some receivers use both an analog and digital for one input or allow you to set the digital in to any one of it's input settings.

If you want to save some money don't bother with the Moshi or Belkin.  You're paying for the name like buying Monster cables, which are overpriced too.  Get the following adapter from monoprice.com.

  • Any good chargers or dual-use cables for charging an iPhone 4S (30-pin) and iPad 4 (lightning)?

    Here is the situation:
A sick friend lies in bed most of the time and has her iPhone 4S (30-pin) charging cable connector within reach. She now also has an iPad 4 (lightning connector).
We are looking for a good charging solution which doesn't require multiple chargers or getting up and replacing the cable in the adapter.
We know we can use the same adapter for the iPad 4 and iPhone 4S, but the cable/connector is different.
Is there a good single cable with both kinds of connectors on the end?
Or would a connector adapter be easiest?
Or is there some cool charging unit which can do both at the same time?
    Thanks,
    Doug

Your only two choices, that I can think of, is to use an adapter. I have a third party one that I got at Office Depot that has micro USB on the end, with a lightning or 30 pin that I can swap out. And there are cables that are dual ended...as in the adapter is attached and can be plugged/unplugged but are still part of the cable.
For third party I'd suggest to stick to well known names, Targus, Zagg, Kensington, Belkin etc for your shopping. THose companies have most likely, gotten permission from Apple to make accessories.
The only other option I can think of is to use a longer extension cord to put the power block near your friend's bed, which will then allow her to plug in the appropriate cable to charge the appropriate device.

  • Dimensions of the 160-Pin Cable for the NI PXI-2530B

    Hello,
My mechanical design team wants to know the measurements of the 160-Pin Cable for the NI PXI-2530B. It will be a while before we receive the cable we ordered. I could not find a data sheet with the measurement details; are they? Alternatively, is Figure 1 in the Installation Instructions drawn to scale?: http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/375656b.pdf
    Thanks!

What dimensions are you looking for?
I'm a little surprised that the length of the cables is not included in the datasheets (I did just look!) - I thought that when I ordered cables for the older-style PXI-2530 modules in my lab that the length was specified in the part description.
If you need the dimensions of the connectors, you can do a little reverse-engineering and identify the dimensions of the various components. The connector to the module is an LFH-160. The Digikey P/N for the body of a connector is WM4099-ND. It may be difficult to find the dimensions of the backshells, however.  The 4 terminal block connectors are standard 50-pin D-Subs. There are many examples out whose dimensions you can review.

  • Pin definition for TV OUT Connector (C&S)

I`ve bought graphic card MSI GeForce4 Ti4200 TD 64MB but there was no the cable for TV connecting. I`ve bought the cable, but it does not work. Do anyone knows the pin definition for " TV_OUT Connector (C&S)", because I can`t find it in user`s guide.

Could you help me? I own a FX 5200 8907 TD128, and the 4 pin S-Video outputs B&W image. The card came with a S-Video to RCA cable, but it isnt useful. Software setting doesnt have an effect. When in the POST the TVoutput is enabled by default and it outputs color images!. Changing PAL from NTSC doesnt have an effect. I did this with 2 RCA TVs and with a VCR. Still Black and White!!!.
I thought i had to buy a new cable but in the setup or during Windows load the outputs works good. May it be a VGA BIOS problem???

  • Apple certified cable for AV RCA out and USB sync with BMW car's COMBOX

My recently purchased Apple certified cable for AV RCA out and USB sync works very well with the PC and TV. I bought it to connect to my BMW car's COMBOX interface which is designed to connect to Apple products.
It doesn't even power up and BMW fails to recognize iPod, same combox works well with the original usb sync cable which came with the iPod but that doesn't have AV out so can't play music and video to the head unit. I think this could be due to low power coming from the car's USB, am I right to think this? If yes what options have I got to fix this? Can I supply additional power to iPod?

    Welcome to the Apple community.
I'm afraid that's to be expected in most cases, you need to turn your TV speakers off.

  • The MID-7604 puts out a lot of noise, where can I get isolated cables for it?

I'm using a MID-7604 stepper motor driver. I'd like to reduce the ground loop noise in the system that I am measuring on my PXI-5152 (through a series of transducers, etc.) by using an optical or transformer isolator for the 68 pin VHDCI cable that connects the motor driver to the computer. Does such a thing exist or are there other methods to mitigate the noise? I'd prefer to have the MID-7604 and the computer connected to the same circuit/I don't really want to buy a gigantic isolation transformer/surge protector just to plug in the MID-7604.
    Solved!

    OlliesCamel,
The devices I'm using are PXI-5152 for signal acquisition, TEGAM 4040B for amplification, MID-7604 to drive stepper motors (which have specifications shown here http://www.sherline.com/stepspec2.pdf) to turn a Sherline rotational stage. The transducers are both Harisonic I30508T 5 MHz 3.5" focus transducers.
I have scanned in a drawing I made up of how everything is physically connected entitled Electrical connections.PDF. Also, the noise I am referring to is the noise that is shown in picture noiseMID7604.jpg. (It is labeled)
For the initial laser noise I'm getting an optically isolated RS232 which should fix that problem. On the MID-7604/7602 stepper power motor drive user guide and specifications it shows on page 13 that a wire should go from the 3 position to the case for grounding. It also shows that it seems to be attached to the shield of the shielded wire. Is this necessary as long as I have the ground connected to the case of the motor or? The way I have it now I just have a separate wire in the bundled/shielded cable that is going to the case but it isn't connected to the shielding itself.
The settings for the amplifier and the PXI are for 1 M ohm impedance.
As you can see, my signals don't have a very large SNR, so any sort of motor noise is problematic, particularly since the noise I've shown doesn't stay in the same place during the test. It tends to move around/be on top of my signals at random times even though it doesn't show that in this particular picture. It is problematic since I'm taking many measurements (20,480 acoustic signals per scan, etc.).
I've tried averaging (256 times) and filtering (10 MHz low pass filter is the lowest I can go), however, the noise still persists a bit since it happens to somewhat fall under the same frequencies, etc. The averaging does help, but I'd like to run the test faster and so eliminating that noise would help me in that regard.

  • Video out cable for e71

Is there some video out cable for e71? I couldn't found this on nokia.com. Please help

Yes, it says that there is an 2.5'' A/V port, however it is only for Audio. It is either a typing error or nokia changed its mind during the production and dropped the Video capability out.
I was also dissapointed like you. But one day, just one day, they will start PROOF READING the specs.

  • Any line-out cable for sleek pho

Hi, does anybody know any line-out cable for sleek photo like those for ipod? I do find some 3rd party cable for vision M wonder if it can be used with sleek photo as they share the same sync cable and based on some other threads it seems the sleek photo can use the sync adapter(which says for Vision M) to have line-out.

    Hi, lil
Do u mean the sync adapter or a 3rd party line-out cable? If it's adapter can I conclude that a 3rd party cable would work as well?

  • 100-pin Connector Required when Building Custom Cable for PCI-6031E

Four 100-pin connectors are required to make custom cables to connect the PCI-6031E. Where can I get this connector?

    Hi Tom,
Thanks for your reply.  The ringing (noise if you like, but it is definetly being coupled to the output signal from the source) is occuring during both the logic low and logic high periods of the output.  I agree, this is still within the TTL noise margins, but is staying within the margins the only important thing? - e.g. what happens multiple devices are clocked using the same output pulse - the pulse shape is degraded slightly due to cabling and input capacitance etc, and now, because of the additional ringing, the logic thresholds are being crossed when they shouldn't be.  If you consider that the source signal is 5Vpp and the induced ringing is 0.4Vpp then the rejection ratio would be 20*log10(0.4/5) = -22dB, not very good.  The situation is not as bad when one of the internal timebases is used as the source but this particular application requires an external one.  So, I'm looking for ways to reduce the ringing if you're aware of any.  One possibility might be to reduce the cable length - I'm using the 2m cable so maybe you could try the 1m cable for me and see if things improve.

  • I have my Canon GL2 connected to my I-Mac OSX version10.7.3 with a Belkin 800/400 9-pin to 4-pin firewire cable not working!!

I have my Canon GL2 connected to my I-Mac OSX version10.7.3 with a Belkin 800/400 9-pin to 4-pin firewire cable and the computer is not acknowledging the camera.

While holding the option key, click the  in the menu bar and select System Information. Select Firewire in the Hardware section and see if your camera shows up as a connected Firewire device. If not, then you have one of three basic problems:
         1. Defective Firewire cable
         2. Defective Firewire port on computer
         3. Defective Firewire port on camcorder
Rule out any of the above by trying a different cable, Firewire device (like a hard drive) or try your camcorder/cable on a different/friend's computer.
If you suspect a Firewire port problem on your computer, you can try resetting it by shutting down and disconnecting the power cable to the computer. Wait for 30 minutes and plug back in and startup. You can also try resetting Parameter RAM (PRAM) on the iMac. (Apple's Instructions for reseting PRAM)

  • Male 30 pin to female 30 pin extension cable

Does anyone know who makes a male 30 pin to female 30 pin extension cable or converter. Can't find one online and the reps at the Apple store were not helpful. I can't attach any accessories that need to be flush with the 60g IPod (such as the FM Transmitter, docking station) without taking it out of the case which increases the chance of scatching it.
    Thx

If you just want something to lift the iPad a little and make it charge with other older style firewire based chargers, maybe you want this -> Scosche passPORT Charging Adapter for iPhone 3G
A quick Google search shows results for the male to female 30-pin extension you described.

  • Need the AD Link cable for SB X-Fi and other models. Anyone have an unneeded one?

Need the AD Link cable for SB X-Fi and other models. Creative is out of stock & discontinued. Anyone have an unneeded one? TIA.

This will do it perfectly. http://www.cableyourworld.com/prodde...?prod=CYW-1755
I once swapped such a cable with the one supplied by Creative because I needed a few extra inches of length. Therefore my recommendation is no gamble, it is a certainty. The only reason I would anticipate failure is if the PIN 1 matching is not performed on both the sound card and I/O bay. I have also seen people turn the cable upside down as well.
