are they any specials hints to propaged new zone
after creation
customer created new zone ,activate it
but there is not see on other switchs in the fabric
in same Vsan ?

If you have turned off the `zoneset distribute full' (default : it is turned off), only the active zoneset is sent. Are you using aliases? If so you can enable the distribute full option and see that aliases are propagated. There are also a couple of bugs documented on certain zone sets not getting propagated. Take a look at them also.

Hello.
For a client, I recorded non-music audios like talks and added them to his latest version of iTunes as a playlist. How do we tell it and its original iPod Touch model to put it in another/new category that is not one of the default categories (music, video, pictures, etc). Talks aren't music! We tried right clicking and stuff, but no luck. I don't use iTunes so...
Also, how do we delete stuff from "Recently Added" and "Recently Played" lists? When items are highlighted, there are no delete option with right clicks, menus, delete key, and dragging them to dock's trash can.

1) On my 3G, podcasts and audiobooks are controllable with the heasdset control just as music is.
2) When you are playing a podcast/audiobook, that one will appear in the landscape/coverflow view. The others do not, admittedly, but is it a bid issue? - not for me.
3) Podcasts and audiobooks are listed in their own categories - easier to find that way than they would if lumped together with my music.

New application not available to other users

My iMac is set up with a separate user account for each family member. My wife has admin priveleges, my daughter's is a general account and my son's is restricted (i.e. kid friendly).
I just installed Rosetta Stone v3 from within my account. I confirmed that it runs properly; the installation was successful. My next step was to check that my family could use the program. Within my wife's account I got the following message: Fatal Application Error 5118. Naturally, my first thought was Permissions. I went back to my account and set the group Everyone to have read/write permissions and set the third menu (Others? Guests? I forget what it's called...) to read/write too. Back to my wife's account; Error 5118. I looked in the Get Info window to confirm the changes took place and they had. I restarted the machine, checked Get Info again (still read/write for everyone) and once again got Error 5118.
I've called Rosetta Stone. Of course they're not Mac-saavy, but they indicate Error 5118 is a permissions conflict.
My question(s): is there any way to ensure that applications I install are available to all users? Do I have to log in as Root (something I HATE doing) to install new applications?

Problem Solved! Although I had set the privileges for the application, the problem was in HD>Library>Application Support>Rosetta Stone. By setting that folder and its enclosed folders to read/write for everyone, the fix was in.
It's too bad that I had to do any of this. The installer should have adopted the permissions from the folders it installed into. Grrrr.
BTW, the error message was a Rosetta Stone message, not a Mac OSX message; I didn't make that clear before.

Can Not Install New Zone

I am encountering an issue with installing a new zone.
I can complete the configuration i try to do the install and it returns the errors:
# zoneadm -z test install
ERROR: No such file or directory: cannot resolve path </etc/default/lu>
ERROR: cannot determine fully qualified path for </etc/default/lu>
ERROR: cannot read and parse defaults file </etc/default/lu>
ERROR: cannot initialize request services and plugins
ERROR: cannot process requests
ERROR: cannot perform the create boot environment operation
The file /etc/default/lu does not exist.
Does anyone have any thoughts?

Install the Live Upgrade packages. For some reason it's looking for the default LU config file.
Pkg names should be (were) -- SUNWlur SUNWluu SUNWlucfg

Solution discovered. Faulty connector cable. Tried a different one and it worked.

Icloud or itunes backup, only backs up app data, not the app itself.
so if you restore as new, then there is no app data on your phone, you start out new...

How come others sharing this photostream are no longer getting the new photos? My iphone (the device i'm adding from) shows 20 pictures in this shared photostream and yet 4 other people that I share this photostream album with and my ipad only show 12 photos. For the past week I keep adding photos thinking people will see them but it just won't update the new ones. Any ideas how to fix this?

You can stop new photos being automatically added to Photostream in iPhoto from iPhoto preferences > Photostream.

From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

You may just want to save yourself any possible issues
by just hooking up a wired keyboard and mouse on first
start up. Any USB keyboard and mouse should work.
There have been many that have had problems on first boot
using the Bluetooth devices.

Check the settings in the Accounts for Mail.
Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Click on your email Account in the left column > What appears under Full Name in the right column?
If that is the incorrect name you're describing change it to your correct name.

Stephen Spark is right - your best alternative is to use a simultaneous dual band wireless router like the AirPort Extreme. Your Cisco Linksys2000 is not a dual band router, meaning that it will be constrained to operate at the slowest speed of all the devices on your network.
The AirPort Extreme's dual networks will support all your 802.11n devices as well as all your 802.11b/g devices on both the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies simultaneously.
